Cool place to visit with a lot of historical context. The museum blends history with avant-garde innovation. It combines the original 1907 Art Nouveau "Billing Building" with a 2018 extension known for its bronze mesh facade and really wide atrium. The Kunsthalle was coining the term "New Objectivity" (Neue Sachlichkeit) in the 1920s. We isited to see Stories of Expressionism in Mannheim.

Wow!! What a fantastic modern art gallery! The setting and architecture are impressive with incredibly interesting exhibits set over three floors. It’s well worth a visit.

Very interesting museum with a very diversity of art something for everyone I guess they have a gift shop pricey for what it was but when you’re in this city might as well take a look

A really nice exhibition with a lot of fantastic artists! What especially cheered me was that they had a lot of female artists presented there. Not all museums are doing that, so I was pretty impressed.

It’s a very artistic building full of different kind of art!
There is the gallery and the sculptures and a nice exhibition that are always happening all along the year so you can check the website and register to some tours.
It’s always free on the first Wednesday of each month, so that’s a chance to go around and enjoy the creativity!

The art is really cool but the staff makes the entire experience unpleasant. They make it their life's mission to follow you around and watch your every step and it seems like they decide individually which guests are allowed to keep their bags and which aren't. Weird vibes all around.
