I visited this place during the Open house day.
The entrance was free today, however I still felt myself robbed of my time. I have attended a Russian guided tour, the guide was very unprepared, was reading the text from the paper and it looked so tense, that through this painful speech she was unable to lit the fire of love to modern art. Besides, being a guide requires not only being a highly educated person, but also able to speak beautifully, capturing audience with your outstanding spoken skills and high proficiency in language. Our guide was sadly putting stress in the wrong syllables, confusing the ending of the words etc. It hurts. It was already a challenge to listen to someone struggling, but when the speech sounds rough and incorrect, it is another level of suffering. 😳
„Art“ that was presented today did not impress, too. The first one is a room filled with the makings of pointless „creations“ without having a final goal and original idea in head. Another room, is a collection of everything that you could have found at the grandma‘s cellar being stuck on the mirror surface.
Guide was insisting that this kind of art should provoke your thinking. lol. Books, good Theater performances, culture in general can activate your brain cells.
Honestly, if you are lacking skills, knowledge of the history of art, if you have no talent, desire to work hard,- label your „products“ with a title of „modern art“.
The best thing of today’s visit,- is the sudden shadow from the window.
