Kunstmuseum Bern

A great Swiss treasure. It feels like a museum designed for artists to enjoy. Great shows. Great collection. Great curators. Lovely staff. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed viewing the paintings by Wolf and Ferdinand Hodler. Very talented painters. Nice cafe inside too. The museum was a 10 minute walk from our hotel not far from the famous Bern Clock.

I visited this beautiful and inviting museum to see the exhibition "Shooting Down Babylon" by South African artist Tracey Rose. The museum itself is both comfortable and well-curated, creating a perfect environment for enjoying art. The staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Inside, you'll find a café and a souvenir shop, making it a great spot to relax and pick up a memento of your visit.

Kunstmuseum Bern offers a decent experience, but I was disappointed with both the price and the collections. The entry fee felt a bit steep for what was on display, and the artworks didn’t quite meet expectations in terms of variety or depth. Not a must-see for art lovers on a budget.

One of nicest Art Museum in Switzerland you should visit. Each year, program is enriched and quite impressive. In 2024 beautiful Chaim Soutine paints you should enjoy

A great arts museum close to railway station bern , nicest collection of Paintings

Well curated works from Paul Klee, Picasso, Matisse and others artists into Cubism and Impressionists. There was also an architectural competition for the extension of the museum on display, which was very interesting!
