Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien

I love this place and the diverse and intersectional social/creative/cultural offerings. Café garden is sweet and Studio 2 is a dream to move in. Don't confuse with Künstlerhaus Bethanien on Kottbusswr Str. which is not a very likeable place.

A bit off the usual tourist track, but an absolute gem in Kreuzberg. More than just an art space, Künstlerhaus Bethanien offers a fascinating blend of contemporary art within a historically significant building. A must-see for those who appreciate both.

A former hospital, now a space for smaller exhibitions, a restaurant and also a outdoor space with a cinema!

Great building (Former Religious Hospital) it was one of the biggest squats back in the 70s. It includes an Art school, a music school, a Kindergarten, summer cinema, urban garten, biergarten, art exhibition center… It is the heart of Kreuzberger people. I usually come to play pingpong or just hanging out with the several people that frequent this place.

Cool place. The highlight of it is the building's architecture. Been there for some Freiluftkino in the summer and it was really good. Also it creates a good space for events, galleris, concerts, installation and performances. It has a nice vibe to it thanks to its architecture. It is a bit small but the effect is big. I recommend checking it out when you can.
