Kuranda Caravan park

Stayed here for a few nights during the wet season, really enjoyed the rainforest. The location is amazing, so cool sitting in the roof tent looking out at a rainforest while having a coffee! Pool is lush, toilets and showers and good, it's got laundry and a kitchen too. Kitchen needs some work, oven was broken but everything else useable. My partner did most of the liaising with the staff, very responsive on the phone, not always in the office however. So, sometimes, a long wait for assistance. Best part is the wildlife on site, especially dusk/dawn.

Great stay. Booked last minute and they had a powered site available. Kitchen is clean, and heaps of amenities (toilets/showers/bins/pool/laundry). Will come back. Under new management and the staff are lovely, very accommodating.

Cool quaint camper park in the middle of Kuranda’s rainforest. Fair prices, clean facilities and a beautiful pool that we unfortunately didn’t get to use as it was raining. Super friendly staff, shoutout to the lovely girl at the reception who helped us out with a problem we had. 1000% recommended!

Stayed for three nights in our caravan and loved it. It was like camping in a rainforest. They’ve done their best to have as level as possible sites. If we weren’t happy we would have gone back to ask for another site as the staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The Gold Rush Cafe beside the pool was amazing. Great food & prices and it overlooks the forrest. Very short drive into Kuranda. Nice track down from Cafe to river and railway line. Can walk into Kuranda beside the railway tracks or along the river. Dog friendly. Definitely recommend it!

Amazing! The whole site was well set out, clean and well maintained. Was lovely waking up in the morning with the kookaburras singing, nestled amongst the rainforest. |Would highly recommend this park!!|The camp kitchen was well equipped and the amenities were clean!

Quite nice surrounding, quiet, well maintained facilities and hot shower. Why only three stars: my partner and I both hadnt the best experience with the owners, they were just in an irritably unfriendly and not welcoming mood.

Decent sites for families planning on being away all day. |Very limited office hours made getting change for laundry and bbqs difficult - also wasn’t expecting to have to pay to use bbq.|A ‘noise complaint’ before 9pm because the toddler was dancing too loudly.|Kids made to feel very unwelcome at the pool - we went up the road and paid to use a different pool so the kids could actually play. |The water wasn’t working on our last morning, but we weren’t notified.

Beautifully located in the rainforest surrounded by shady trees. Cabins older type but very clean comfortable. Large area in cabins. Ours was near the nice pool. Good value, Friendly people. I loved the place Will return Thanks so much.
