This caravan park has shown an appalling lack of integrity by taking advantage of vulnerable residents. What should be a safe and welcoming community for families has instead become a place where people are exploited and treated with little respect or compassion.||Management seems far more focused on squeezing money out of residents than providing a decent standard of living or support. Facilities are poorly maintained, communication is dismissive, and there’s no sense of care for those doing it tough.||It’s shocking to see a business operate like this under the guise of being “family friendly.” I would strongly urge anyone considering staying here—especially families or those in vulnerable circumstances—to look elsewhere.

Stayed a few nights met some lovely ppl in the park. We was put was a little inconvienient to toilet N showers area, also the area inwhich we was in should have less vans or non at all in that area, should be more for the smaller camper vans ect. The whole park needs a little organization, but i guess with new owners this will happen in time. Young girl that booked us in was very nice and does an excelent job. Do recommend this park 100% over other in the area.

Kuranda is a lovely place - not so the Kuranda Caravan Park. We had an unpowered site. For the size of our set up, this site should have been set aside for a small tent. Couldn’t understand it when they knew the size of our van. Only just fitted onto the site with no room to spare. We were on a significantly sloping site. Tried to put our awning out but it ended up in the bushes that separated the sites. Couldn’t sit outside as there was no room. The van was on a slope at the rear and a slope at the side. We slept with our heads downhill with extreme discomfort. The van was in a dangerous position on this site. Don’t know how they could have done this to us and yet they took our money. Also, the dump point at the bottom of the hill stunk like you wouldn’t believe and the surrounding area was muddy from the urine overflowing at the dump point. We couldn’t get out of this park quick enough. In all fairness, we therefore have no reason to recommend this park as a stay at all.

Great location, relatively cheap but unfortunately the poolside room we stayed in was pretty dirty- inside the fridge was dirty, the floors had hair and dirt. The resident kids also spent most of the afternoon jumping and yelling in the pool, with their dog barking, we were trying to rest after an all night flight. Glad we only stayed one night.

Great location, dog friendly, nice 15min rustic rainforest goat track and along rail track walk to village - not suitable for older people - some nice private sites - we had a flat site - amenities older but cleaned often. Some run out of toilet paper. Cafe was shut on Monday and Tuesdays. A lot of shops/market stalls are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Pool looked nice. A bit expensive rate after the Athelton tablelands parks. Very friendly helpful staff at checkin. Park needs a bit of upgrading/maintenance

The staff and new owners Kristy and Jason are really lovely, super helpful, efficient and very professional. The customer service here is exceptional, the rooms, faculties and all other services are excellent. The rainforest is absolutely beautiful, a privilege and a pleasure to wake up to each day. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍👍👍 Get Outlook for Android

Close to Kuranda markets and township. Quite an old park, but clean and functional. The cafe was fantastic, try the homemade chocolate ice cream, amazing. The staff are very kind

Stayed here for a few nights during the wet season, really enjoyed the rainforest. The location is amazing, so cool sitting in the roof tent looking out at a rainforest while having a coffee! Pool is lush, toilets and showers and good, it's got laundry and a kitchen too. Kitchen needs some work, oven was broken but everything else useable. My partner did most of the liaising with the staff, very responsive on the phone, not always in the office however. So, sometimes, a long wait for assistance. Best part is the wildlife on site, especially dusk/dawn.
