Beautiful cafe serving artisinal coffee and matcha. Their love for the ingredients comes through, you can select different countries of origins and blends, and also get ceremonial matcha. Seating is gorgeous and modern. Takeout and eat in. Very limited selection of sweets available. A little on the pricier end due to the ingredients. 💳 Takes credit card 🛍️ Also sells coffee beans and accessories

I’m not sure it gets better than this for a pour over enthusiast. This is a wonderfully relaxed experience where you grab a seat and let masters craft your pour over coffee. Definitely prioritize this location over the Kyoto station location if you’re very into the coffee experience.

During the pandemic, I came across kurasu because I became interested in coffee, specifically pourover. I'm not from Japan so coming here last December 2024, it's a dream come true to finally see it in person. Moreover, it's tucked in a quiet street which was a plus. We ordered pourover coffee (Ethiopia) and their matcha latte. The pourover coffee was okay, a bit diluted to my liking, nonetheless I was still fine with it. The matcha was great, we're a big fan of their matcha! Sadly though they didn't have smaller matcha powder (only the 1kg i think) so we weren't able to buy. But I bought coffee beans and coffee drips, I can't really resist buying their coffee beans 😂 We went here I think 15-20mins before they close but they were nice enough to accommodate us, they also reminded us of their closing time. Still, the staff were accommodating and even enthusiastically answered our queries. I love their hospitality! Would return again once we visit osaka again!

Incredible coffee second only to the incredible people! Kurasu is famous for sourcing and roasting some of the best coffees in the world, and sending it out to coffee lovers around the globe. They bring the same level of quality, talent, and care to their Ebisugawa cafe as well. I am glad I was able to visit during my trip to Kyoto. I had a couple wonderful conversations with the staff, who were warm and treated me like family. (A special shout-out to my new friends from Nagasaki and Fukuyama, you know who you are!) If you want seriously good pour-overs in a cozy space and excellent neighbourhood, please consider pulling up a chair and staying a while!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Hidden in a quiet side street dotted with small furniture stores, Kurasu Ebisugawa understands and embraces the desires of home brewers - great coffee, warm atmosphere, friends around a coffee table. No fancy coffee gear at KE - they make coffee like you would at home. The baristas are very kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable.

They have the best hojicha and matcha here! Staff was super friendly and welcoming. I love the intimate vibe here. Hojicha was smoky and flavorful. Best drink to start your day.

Great coffee shop away from the busy streets. Got the matcha latte and hojicha latte with oat milk. Both were solid drinks and I loved the cups that the drinks were served in.

The shop is really, really nice. Love the atmosphere and love the concept. Coffee is super skippable. Unbelievably under extracted and dilute. Beans look great, but I would just buy them to dial in at home.
