Kurpark-Hotel

To be absolutely honest, I'm not sure how the hotel is a 4stars. Firstly , the room is clean but the kettle was disgustingly dirty and the table fan (yes table fan and no aircond for 4stars hotel) given was broken so I had to call the reception to change it. Reception couldn't understand my English although I understand she clearly wanted to help but took a while and a few repeats of explanation to address my complaint. the in room tv was all germany channels and a hint of some English channel but it says no satellite connection thru my 4days stay.Like comments from the others, the hotel feels dated and 80s and can smelly musky. The restaurant services were great and friendly however, being a 4stars hotel , the morning and afternoon buffet spreads are limited choices for hot dishes , cold spread having a little more variety but for someone that doesn't like cold food , I'm only limited to a 3-4 trays of selection.

I brought my wife to Bad Dürkheim for Mother's Day. We spent a total of three night at the Kurpark Hotel. The room was lovely with a view of the largest wine barrel in the world. The two bartenders were exceptional keeping us entertained in box seats all three nights. The pool and sauna area was smaller, but we enjoyed it twice. The breakfast was also decent with champagne served on the weekends. Parking was available at a low 8,00 euro a night. The location was also perfect. I highly recommend this place for your visit.

We expected more but it was quite alright. The food was good and the pool was great to relax. The fitness room was poor.

The hotel was nicely appointed and very clean. Our room had a wonderful view of the park. There is no air conditioning but the time of year we were there we could open the windows and it would cool down overnight. ||The outdoor dining area was very nice. The breakfast is excellent. Parking is easy and only $7 per night. The Spa offered some rest and relaxation. The location of the hotel is perfect for walking to town, the sausage market, or graduation tower. The staff was very friendly and attentive. ||I would definitely recommend staying here. Very nice hotel.

I stayed in Kurpark Hotel Bad Dürkheim during a corporate event in March 2019. The check-in and welcome was friendly and professional. The staff was always helpful and accomodating. The hotel is centrally located directly next to a nice park which invites for a stroll.||||The room was clean, sufficiently large for a business-related trip and had everything one would expect: a TV, desk, chair, minibar (whose drinks were complimentary!), wardrobe, safe, bathrobes, complimentary coffee/tea and free Wi-Fi. The room unfortunately didn't have air conditioning, which was not a problem since it wasn't too hot. However, this can be expected from a hotel in this category. The bathroom was relatively large, the towels were clean, but the radiator was positioned to close to the toilet, a problem for tall people. ||||Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all served in buffet form. The quality was good, the presentation was attractive and the variety was quite large. The bar is quite small for a hotel of this size. You get free entrance to the casino as a guest of the hotel.||||The gym area included only cardio equipment (bikes, steppers and a rowing machine), unfortunately no weights. ||||All in all, the Kurpark-Hotel provides good value for money with only some downsides and can hence be recommended.

Spent 3 days and 2 nights in this hotel for a corporate event.|Rooms need to be refurbished, at lezst the curtains, furnitures and bathroom which look very 80's|No A/C in sleeping room (in a 4 stars "Superior" class ?). Hand towel was taken by housekeeping but not replaced. We had 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts and 3 lunches, all of them in buffet form, almost no variation and the tastes variating from medium to bad quality.|People at reception very friendly, also very nice barman even if bar is much too small for such big hotel.|Would not recommend it.

We came here with a a large group ( 60 people). Obviously we all had different rooms, all from very small top floor rooms to balcony rooms. The cleaning was great and the rooms were good, and so was breakfast, but the service??? Where do I start?? Waiting at the reception for ten minutes, when all I wanted was an answer to a simple question. The receptionist was busy counting money, and would not be disturbed. Or when we tried to order drinks from the waiter and he seemed to have a nervous breakdown after having taken orders from six different people ( he literally walked off on the middle of us ordering). Or when we waited for so long for our bill that we just had to walk away from the place in order to get attention. This is one of the worst places I have ever been to when it comes to service, both in reception an in the restaurant!

We just spent 2 nights at this hotel - and can only state that some 2 star hotels become 4 star hotels due to great Staff - this hotel is not worth it's 4 start rating - the Staff is arrogant / condescending and rude. On the bais of the staff it is a terrible place to stay.||We had a group convene for a birthday / combined with a wine tasting weekend. It was completely spoiled by an arrogant waiter - with no sense of customer service / and an attitude that should preclude him from working in the Hotel industry. (mr Amir ?? ).||We - as a group had to leave the hotel - and take the festivities elsewhere as they denied us the right top open a special bottle of wine on the premisis to celebrate the event. (after spending around 100 Euro as a group in the same place).||We hardly slept the last night - simply due to the irritation.||Disgraceful place - avoid - go elsewhere if you want half decent service.
