Honestly they made you feel like royalty here. The rooms were all spacious, and the staff were so kind every time you meet everyone. As our honeymoon this is by far our favorite place during our trip to Japan. If you want to experience a natural hot spring their private ones feel like your vip. Plus the food was high quality it felt like you can spend a whole week here to relax.

I booked the private onsen room on 1-2 July, it’s was very hot in Tokyo, but the temp was manageable in Kusatsu. The town has no one perhaps it’s not the peak season. This is one of the best ryokan I’ve ever stayed in Japan. Top notch services, the room was very new, perfect onsen temperature, both breakfast and dinner were arranged in private rooms. I booked it to have a celebration with my mother and we were very satisfied. They also has a shuttle to send us back to the bus terminal. Only one down side is that they rushed us to finish the Kaiseki dinner.. always wanted to take the plates back and would appreciate if we can take our time.

We love it. Nice location and convenient to walk around the city. Rooms are nice and the onsen is cool. Service is good but can be a little more friendly to foreign guess and patience with us since we don’t understand much the language. More sign would be good to let us know what check in procedure is. Feels confusing when many ppl coming in. Not too flexible when comes to celebrations and dinner arrangements. All in all still good

We stayed one night here in a room with a private open air bath. Everything was meticulously clean & the service was amazing! Staff were very helpful even though they don’t speak much English. Would definitely come back. Highly recommend.

Nice location esp walking distance to the main city and the hotel is very big and lots of onsen to explore. 3 to be exact. Nice onsen. Food is good. And rooms are great. But service could be slightly warmer and patience to explain to foreigners there seems to be quite rushed and then explain very clearly on check-in. Not very flexible when it comes to dinner arrangement specially for birthday celebration.

Amazing stay! Came here from Australia for our honeymoon and was the stay of a lifetime. Got a private room with Onsen as well as breakfast and dinner and the experience was amazing. The hotel even prepared gifts for our honeymoon which was so sweet. Overall amazing service, only a short walk from all the attractions in the town (including 7/11) and the food was next level. Can 100% recommend this to anyone wanting a comfortable, relaxing and authentic Ryokan experience.

Everything about our stay here was amazing and memorable. Fantastic onsens on property with tons of amenities, face washes, etc. Incredible food that I will never forget on my visits to Japan. The room was very nice with a great view and large windows. Service was fantastic at every step of the way; they are so nice and understanding there. From the front desk, to the room services, to the dining accommodations the staff was incredible. I loved the little lounge with complimentary coffee as well. Simply unforgettable and very worth visiting.
