Kushi Tempura Dandanya

The best tempura I’ve ever had. We stumbled upon this restaurant, and with dietaries it is always a bit of a gamble. They cooked us vegetarian friendly tempura that were so beautiful, we needed to order a second serving of the asparagus. The staff are really lovely, we are looking forward to coming back when we’re in Tokyo!

We had our first meal in Tokyo here and one month later, our last. My favorite place in Tokyo. We sat at the bar both times. Watched the chef in action. Service was great and friendly. Food was excellent! Seafood , Kobe beef, vegetables all tempura, fresh, and perfect.

A tempura lovers delight!!! Bar and table seating. Start with a fresh cabbage appetizer. Then order your first course of 5 pieces of various tempura on bamboo skewers. 2nd, 3rd, etc course to follow of 3 pieces each. Beer and Sake offered. Super fresh and perfectly prepared. Best tempura I ever tasted. A little costly for a little bit of food though per each course.

My wife loves it. In my opinion Not amazing. Considering the price. But also true I am foreign and we don’t fully understand the tempura colture. I would put 3 stars. My wife (Japanese) 5 stars . So maybe average might be 4 stars.

This small restaurant and bar is a great spot for tempura Izakaya. I had the 5 course tempura with draft beer. The chef was polite and spoke some English. The door is difficult to spot from the street and blends in with the outer wall. You can find the sliding door just beside the hand sanitizer with a welcome mat in front. I think you'll enjoy the food.

Wonderful place. You can reserve tables for a large group too. Very very enjoyable

Good and fresh tempura. Light tasty batter. Service is also good. Price is very reasonable. Good selection of alcohol too!

The most delicious Tempura I've ever eaten in my whole life! I can't stop wow-ing by the taste! Incredible! Would like to be back again when I'm in Japan.
