Kuta Cabana Lodge

We loved our stay at Kuta Cabana Lodge. It offers a perfect blend of a social atmosphere and a relaxing retreat. Waking up to a good breakfast by the ocean views was a daily highlight. The staff went above and beyond to help with scooter rentals and tour advice. While the rooms are close to nature, they are very clean and comfortable, we got beautiful views of sunset here, astonishing colors in sky. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach. Good place to stay in Kuta. Amazing view of Sunset and lovely kitties around the place. Very friendly service too. Just the rooms are a bit too small and have some kind of smell in the bathroom plus the crazy noisy motorcyclists can be heard from the highway but overall I recommend to stay here.

The staff was friendly. But in the two rooms we rented, both air conditioners did not work and could not be repaired. A fan was only provided on request. The rooms were musty. The whole place urgently needs extensive maintenance. I guess this place was cool 5 years ago.

Avoid this place at all costs!!!! This was the worst stay ever. There were bed bugs in the bed. Urine and poo at the toilet seat. It was very dirty so I escaped to another place for 2 days and came to pick up my suitcase at the day of check out and found a head and part of a body of a dead mouse on the couch! And the bin was still full and of course the room wasn't cleaned.||I have paid 720000 rupiah a night and the owner yelled at me that I couldn't find a place in Kuta for that price and refused to give me any kind of refund.||I never write bad reviews, but I really need to warn you for this place. It is very very bad!! If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

Check-in and check-out went smooth. Staff is nice but not too friendly. This hotel is very unique, built on a hill with typical bamboo and wood decorations. I stayed in the villa and the room was spacious and clean, it's nice to have the little garden downstairs with hammocks to relax before dinner. At times there was a smell coming from the bathroom...probably from the sewer. You have a beautiful view of Kuta beach from your room or the restaurant. Breakfast was included but was very basic: one juice choice, coffee or tea, 2 eggs your style or banana pancake. The hotel is only a 5-min drive from downtown Kuta. You can rent a scooter from the hotel for 70k a day, which is an average price. Their two dogs were adorable.

If I ever go back to Lombok, I will choose no other place but Kuta Cabana Lodge! Great spacious bungalows ( 3 floors each ; first is a terrace with stools, couch and hammocks, second is the main one with one king size bed and big bathroom and a nice big balcony, third is the attic with another king size bed). Each bungalow has a fridge and a sound system. It's great for groups, families, and couples too. Its located on a hill so you surely can see the sea from your balcony. The place is so cozy and authentic. We were so lucky to get a room upgrade after booking the standard double room. Outstanding!

My partner and 5 year old daughter and I visited this restaurant this evening which came highly recommended from a friend. The restaurant and hotel is situated high into the hill and very impressive from afar. As you walk up to the restaurant you are 1st blown away by the views and then by the actual build itself it’s all made from wood done in a local style with a modern western twist! Super cool my daughter loved hanging out in the many chill out areas along with the many hammocks that are dotted about the place! My partner and I enjoyed an ice cold beer whilst watching the impressive sunset behind the hills and then watching the natural light show of the sky beautiful!! We ordered the beef rendang which is an Indonesian dish that we have had on many occasions but this was the tastiest by far WOW!! We were totally blown away with the food so fresh and good value for the beautiful location!! We where lucky enough to meet the owners who are super friendly and attentive this place is a gem 💎 you must check it out for yourselves you won’t be disappointed we are going back to try the fresh fish of the day before we leave can’t wait!!! ❤️👍🏻😀

We stayed for two nights. Our room was clean and comfortable. Wifi and breakfast could be better. The view from the cliff is beautiful. Consider renting a moped form the front desk to get around as it is not walking distance from the heart of the town. We rented one and loved it.
