Kviberg Hostel

I stayed at Kvibergsvandrarhem in Sept 2024 and again in Sept 2025. I feel safe, conveniently located and the staff is simply wonderful, helpful, warm: friendly and they make me feel at home. It is a very basic no frills place, clean, good breakfast, nice people. You can also make use of the facilities for laundry, and a light meal etc. i plan to stay there again. Each time I have brought along friends traveling with me.

It was OK price quality ratio wise. I mean it is a bunk-bed hostel, and the walls are paper thin so you hear absolutely everything in the other rooms and in the hallways. But it is also not expensive, has good wifi, nice showers with hot water always available, and a well equipped kitchen.

What a lovely Hostel! The location is very close to public transport (the App for public transport is fantastic) and parking was free in front of of the hostel. Also, free WiFi and a lovely lobby area. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We found enough room in the refrigerator to store our perishable foods. There were more then enough table inside the kitchen and the adjacent hall. We had a family room for 2 adult and two teenagers. The room was very small for the amount of people. We only had one tiny window, so getting it to „air out“ was almost impossible. Next time we would chose a cottage. But this is the only negative we could find. Since we spend most of our time out and about, it didn’t impact our stay in Göteburg too much.

I can recommend the hostel for a stay. The hostel is lovely and clean. It is definitely affordable and not so far away from Götenborg Central. The breakfast was also delicious. Thank you for our nice stay in Götenborg.

I come there at least once a year, with small groups. They give a good service; at less busy periods they give me a bigger room if there’s a possibility 😊 Always clean.

Booked a private room. Was clean, very nice space. Front desk was very friendly, welcoming and helpful!

We were a group of 46 people, of which 30 were kids, and I cannot thank Susanne and her team enough for their helpfulness, flexibility and for the great stay. The hostel is perfectly located for a group of kids, with a garden and a couple of BBQs, shop nearby and a loppis. Thoroughly recommended!

Lovely location, right next to the tram station, so it's very convenient to travel from there to the city centre. It was very clean and quiet, lovely staff, everyone speaks fluent English. I definitely recommend. Thank you so much to the Kviberg Hostel Team ❤️ (solo female traveler)
