Small hotel in the center of town walking distance to the harbor and museums.|Our room had a queen size bed and a pullout sofa, great for families. The bed is separated by a wall from the living room with the sofa. Staff made the sofa for us. Each person had his/her own duvet blanket. The view from the room was of a courtyard with grass and flowers, beautiful and bright. There is light out until midnight but there are blackout curtains if you want to sleep earlier.||The hotel has coffee and croissants by the front desk. There are also drinks and snacks for purchase. There is a place next door with breakfast food. There is a supermarket called Krónan 7 minute walk from the hotel. We arrived early and the hotel saved our luggage.||There are ear plugs in the room by the bed. I was worried about noise at night. A couple of windows were open and when I closed them the room was quiet. There is a kitchen counter with a cooling drawer, no freezer or microwave, but there is a stove and kitchen items, and a Nescafé machine. There is a bench and a shelving unit to use for luggage.||I did not care for the bathroom situation. There is a small room with a toilet and a sink, only one person can use the sink. There is a separate room with walk in shower, water temperature kept on changing.||There are walking tours that leave from the courtyard by the hotel. We took a tour with CityWalk and our guide Sarah was entertaining.||When you head to the airport you have the option of taking a public bus to the airport for $20/person, kids 12-17 are half price and under 11 are free. The bus stop is a 15 minute walk from the hotel at a bus terminal. The walk is pleasant along a pond, but the pavement is uneven. The ride takes one hour and 12 minutes. The bus seems to leave once every hour at the 15 after the hour.||We had a pleasant stay and I recommend this hotel especially since it is harder to find hotel rooms that accommodate families where you have room to spread out.
