Kymata Hotel

Lovely little hotel owned by the cutest couple! They really treat you like family here. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it’s the perfect location - it’s off St. George Beach and a 10 min walk to all of the main restaurants in Chora. The rooms/bathrooms are on the smaller side, but we were always out and about so it wasn’t an issue. I highly recommend booking the suite on the top floor for the sunset views. The breakfast was also amazing; do NOT miss this!!! As soon as we left, we wanted to go back. Thank you Anna, Dimitri, Poppy, and Sofia for an unforgettable experience.

Our stay at Kymata Hotel was very nice. Everyone is so kind and friendly, always smiling and willing to help you with anything. The lady at the reception (I think her name is Poppy) said she could call restaurants to make reservations for us if we wanted, and gave us many recommendations of places to visit, which was very helpful. Our room was great with a big comfy bed and a balcony to enjoy sunset and a beautiful view of the beach. Breakfast was delicious and prepared with love. Everything was perfect, I would gladly stay there again! Thank you to everyone.

My wife and I stayed at Kymata hotel recently and it was an exceptional six night stay! Our room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of homemade dishes and a great selection of coffees. A little detail, when the owner noticed that my wife avoided dishes with meat, the very next morning a number of vegetarian dishes appeared.Above all, it was the warmth and attention we got from the owners and the personnel that made our stay feel like home away from home!!! We would definitely go back and highly recommend it!

We’re incredibly grateful to Miss Anna, her husband, and the wonderful staff at Kymata Hotel for making our stay so special. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we felt completely at home. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and cared for. I wasn’t feeling well one morning and the owner, Miss Anna (the sweetest person you’ll ever meet) had the cook prepare a pot of soup just for me! Our stay at Kymata was truly the highlight of our 16-day trip to Greece. The hotel is beautiful and spotless, and well situated. Only a minute walk to the beach and a few minutes to amazing shops and restaurants. The hotel’s breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options each morning. We highly recommend Kymata Hotel to everyone visiting Naxos. It is the perfect way to experience genuine Greek hospitality. We love you all and we will truly miss you. Hope to see you again!! Rooms are a 4 only because they're on the basic side but they are clean & comfortable, A/C worked well, service was phenomenal - love the owners! Location is, for the most part, great - you're off the beaten path a little, which is nice, and you're within a decent walking distance to where the restaurants are. Amazing bang for the buck.

The nicest people I have ever met! The hotel staff were so kind and welcoming in every way; it felt like visiting family! Poppy was super helpful even before we got to Greece! She helped us get our transportation in order to/from the hotel, helped us rent an ATV to tour the island, and was very accommodating to our needs. We booked the top floor suite and the view was incredible! The suite itself was a decent size, one room for all of our luggages and the main bedroom had a walkout door onto the rooftop terrace. It’s a nice place to enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee or the sunset overlooking the water. And yes, a/c unit in each room!! The location was perfect if you’re not renting a car. It was a 2-3 minute walk from St. George’s Beach and a 5-7 minute walk to the old town for some food and shopping. The area is quite safe for solo travelers, couples, or even families with children. Just note that this hotel does not have an elevator but if you’re up for the cardio, I really recommend this hotel and the top suite! We will definitely be staying here again!

Dont let the 2 stars fool you - this is a wonderful authentic hotel run by a truly Greek family - the team is very attentive and always so helpful. The hotel is situated in a great place - Saint George beach and then a short picturesque walk to Naxos town. The hotel has a great breakfast, with local dishes cooked daily. The hotel has a very Greek feel to it, with big open rooms and lots of marble! Dont hesitate - book your stay in Kymata to see the wonderful island of Naxos!

This is a perfect little family-run hotel with the kindest and friendliest staff and owners. We felt truly welcomed. Everything was clean and well maintained. Highly recommended!
