KYOTO ACCOMMODATION THE BLOSSOM KYOTO / ザ ブラッサム 京都

Outstanding hotel. Beautiful Japanese place with modern designs. Everything is done quite immaculately. Kyoto tower viwes from your rooms, close to everything including gojo station. Quite refreshing after staying in overpriced box rooms in Tokyo. After a whole day of walking and doing touristy things it was indeed refreshing to come back to blossom. Giving 4 star to service only because reception could never answer anything properly when it came to directions or recommendations which is a problem across the board with Japanese hospitality training. They are very warm and welcoming but when it comes to other aspects of reception they simply can't help. Also, when I asked for late check out the guy simply said "it will cost money" without looking at anything and then took 5 mins to tell me what it would cost. Almost felt like "throw money and stay rather than welcome to stay a bit but we might charge after a bit of time". I would still come back to this hotel but staff retraining in basic interactions would make it even better.

So close to a Gojo train station. Great location to explore Kyoto. Beautiful room and facilities. Staffs are very nice and efficient. We really enjoyed the onsen after a long day of walking. The free drinks and snacks are nice touch. Seven Eleven is very close and grocery store is right next door. We love it here and would return.

What a fantastic hotel. So far absolutely the best stay we have had in Japan. The four days were amazing, from the warm greeting and delicious welcome drink to the incredible breakfast buffet we enjoyed every single day. Our room was very comfortable and quite quiet for being on a busy city street. The bed was a little soft, but we slept very well. In the basement was a drink station with snacks, a clean workout room, male and female onsen and efficient laundry that we were grateful for since we sweat like crazy in the heat. Everything we tried in the restaurant was delicious, some of the best wine and beer we had during our trip. The location was perfect, close to the subway and a reasonable walk to Gion.

Staying at the blossom was lovely. The rooms were really clean and very sizeable. When we checked in we found the service rather rude but after that it’s been very very good, so overall it’s good. The lobby is beautiful and nice vibes. Just to note the bathing area is seperate male and female and don’t allow swimming wear or visible tattoos.

I loved this hotel so much of all the places I stayed in Japan between Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. Such a beautiful property! The welcome drink and treat was yummy and thoughtful. The room was spacious and the layout was well thought out. Staff were friendly and professional. The amenities were great and access times were good. The laundry machines can get busy fast but found it easiest during the day between checkout and check in. Close by many things we did during our time here and a pharmacy, McDonald’s, convenience store and market nearby. The only place I will stay when I come back to Kyoto!

Nice stay at the blossom for a few nights. Beds were comfortable and rooms were nicely maintained. My only complaint is the eco cleaning doesn’t make much sense. They could at least remake the bed (without changing the sheets) still in the name of being eco friendly. Not doing that service yet changing the towels every day doesn’t align. At a four star hotel I would expect the beds to be made daily.

Wonderful hotel, the best I have stayed in Japan. The onsen was amazing after the long days and tiered legs. Great amenities. They have a nice lounge with free drinks, snacks and ice cream. Great atmosphere and modern look. I really recommend this hotel

The entry way to The BLOSSOM Kyoto really sets the mood and aesthetics of the establishment. Really appreciated the dimmed, serene vibes of the rock garden/live plants. Amenities were luxurious and well kept, and we really enjoyed the fact that the drink corner also offered decent matcha and hot chocolate beverages. The ice cream bars were a bonus. Highlight of the guest room was probably the shower--that water pressure was amazing. Also, easy walking distance from multiple attractions and train stations.
