Always loved this place. Saturday nights are pretty busy. But only had to wait 5 min minutes to be seated. They have a buffet which is $33 with only water. Cute robot server, fun to watch them move around the restaurant. Nice litter helpers. If they are busy make sure to order most of your food the first time round, can be a little wait to get your food but not horrible. They bring whatever is ready to you so you have food infront of you even if it's 1 thing out of the full order.

Google
The place is okay! It's cheap! Very cheap for the all-you-can-eat. I ordered Nigiri, which was very good for the price, and a few special sushis, which were horrible. They tasted old or as if they had it in a fridge pre-made. I didn't like that the place was too dark. It was clearly dirty. The service was great. I'm not sure if I would come back. You can say the quality of the sushi is equal to supermarket sushi.

Google
Kyoto sushi is one of the better all you can eat sushi restaurants. The rolls are well made, and their selection is pretty large. The snow mountain roll , BC roll and volcano roll are few i would recommend. Their scallops and shumai are pretty good as well. I would recommend starting with their soup and seaweed salad and finishing with red bean ice cream. One thing I didn't like is that they don't have steamed dumplings. The service was fast and prompt and the restaurant was pretty clean as well.

Google
Great value for the all you can eat sushi! Not the best sushi I have ever had, but it was good! The food was better than I was expecting and I was happy. Service was great, and really made it a nice night. I would definitely go back.

Google
The wait staff is nice, the sushi is good, and food comes pretty fast. Watch out if you’re doing all you can eat for lunch as they’ve now multiple times given us dinner menus ($10 more per person) DURING lunch hour and we had to fight to actually pay the lunch price. Other than that everything was good.

Google
Staff was very helpful with seating us right away and taking our order. They have a robot that brings your food. The service was fast. You can watch your sushi rolls being made. Highly recommend the sweet potato roll. Crisp deep fried sweet potatoes and fresh, moist delicious sticky rice. Noodles are firm and not mushy. The sauce is full of flavor. A lot of vegetarian options to try. Next time I will try the all you can get buffet.

Google
Delicious udon noodles and sushi. Customer service was outstanding. I tried the Choya plum wine for the first time, it is absolutely delightful. Wonderful experience.

Google
The service is amazing and the food decent for all you can eat…but can we talk about the ambience? Management…if you’re reading this PLEASE do something about the lighting! The place is dark except a pair of 100W FLOURESCENT bulbs glaring down on the entire room. I was getting migraine from the harsh lighting. It kind of ruined the entire dining experience and I hate to say it…because the food and service is great but DANG…I felt like I was in a prison/high school cafeteria with those annoying lights!

Yelp
This is one of the best sushi restaurants near me, the food is great it has never been loud. The only slight disadvantage of coming here, is the service is a bit slow. (Slow service is a common trait for restaurants this fancy though)

Yelp
All you can eat sushi? I'm in! Say what you will about AYCE sushi restaurants... I personally love them. Sure the quality isn't quite as good but it's without a doubt edible and the flavors are always pretty solid. This particular location had kind of a weird atmosphere. It was trying to be fancy but missed the mark and just kind of looks old and dumpy. Nevertheless it was clean at least. Our server wasn't exactly the friendliest person ever nor was she very attentive. It was a bit tough flagging her down for most of our lunch visit. Food is good. Don't go in expecting super high quality fish and you will find yourself pleased I feel. If the service was just a better this would be 4 stars! @danny_runsforbeer

Yelp
Nice restaurant, good sushi - located inside a dumpy mall - 4 stars. THE MALL: This was my latest adventure with a Kyoto location, one that I've never visited before. The first thing I noticed is the mall itself is pretty crappy. The restaurant is on the north end of the mall, inside the mall itself. The very first thing I saw (when I pulled into the lot), was a police vehicle loading an arrested suspect into the squad car. The next thing I noticed was the sad state of the exterior...cigarette butts all over the place in puddles, exterior siding in disrepair, and a dirty greasy utility door with 2 people smoking cigarettes by the restaurant entrance. Yuck, yuck, yuck! FOOD: The food was exactly what I expected - good. I know Kyoto is a chain but I think they usually do a good job. I ordered 3 sushi rolls and they were good, bursting with flavor and arriving with a beautiful presentation. SERVICE: As usual, the service was impeccable. My server was completely on top of everything, attentive, and friendly. CLEANLINESS: The restaurant seems to be clean. I checked out the restroom and everything was good there...no nasty surprises. The décor is nice too. I couldn't help but day dream and wonder what this space used to be in past decades. It's huge with super high ceilings and a weird geometric block wall behind the bar that looks like it used to be an old bowling alley wall or something from the 60s. Pretty cool. PRICES: The prices seem to be reasonable and in-line with similar sushi joints in the Twin Cities. LOW CARBOHYDRATE: It's easy to eat low-carb, keto, carnivore style at Kyoto. I avoid big piles of rice, huge noodle portions, added sugar, and anything that might be concealing crappy "vegetable seed oils". I might have gotten some in the yum yum sauce and the spicy tuna roll but I think it was pretty minimal...I hope. Of course, you can get a few animal based hot "kitchen" appetizers and also a couple of the soups. I'd go back again any time. Thumbs up. - Maxx

Food tasted like shit. Dishes weren't washed properly I could rub off old smudges!. employees look like they were annoyed .

Yelp
All you can eat sushi is a good deal to me especially when it tastes good. Servers are really fast with the service. The low light gives off great vibes. Perfect place for a sushi date.

Yelp
Kyoto Sushi in Roseville offers a solid sushi experience, but nothing that stands out as extraordinary. The sushi is fresh, and the variety on the menu is decent, though some rolls feel a bit basic in terms of flavor. If you're looking for standard options like California rolls or spicy tuna, they do the job well enough, if you want something of their best quality I would recommend the tempura shrimp and some of their special rolls. What really elevates the experience is the service. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making sure you're well taken care of throughout the meal. It's a pleasant dining atmosphere, with a lot of noise and very busy. We had to wait about half an hour before we could get seated. Definitely plan ahead and be sure to bring extra room for dessert!

Yelp
Is the food here amazing? No.... Is it all you can eat? Yes! You definitely all about quantity than quality here. The food is nothing amazing but it's decent for all you can eat. I honestly do visit often which is why I give it 4 stars. The menu is pretty big and they do offer a big selection. Unlimited Nigiri & Sashimi is a plus! The space is pretty huge compared to the Lyndale location. There's also parking so that's a plus. As for the service, it really depends. Sometimes it's great and sometimes it's not. They are pretty good at remembering what you ordered. Overall, it's pretty fine for all you can eat.

Yelp
The reviews for Kyoto Sushi are such a wide range that I can't make heads or tails of it. Our experience was pretty banal: we came in, got seated, did the All You Can Eat, and worked our way through some rolls. Nothing was a stand out, but nothing was bad either. The tempura came out steaming fresh, the various rolls (Volcano, Sakura, Pizza, a few others) were good enough for our expectations, the service was friendly and attentive. All in all, a decent sushi place from our experience.

Yelp
I was invited here for a group birthday celebration. The one-price-per-person made it easy to split the bill, and the restaurant was well-equipped to handle our party of nine. We started with an assortment of sushi, rolls, tempura, and noodles to start with, put everything in the middle of the table, and shared, being careful not to order too much. They will charge you if you order excessive amounts and waste it--and you can always ask for more. A good strategy is to order a few things, see what you like, and get additional servings of the good stuff. Very festive and fun. Service was friendly and lightning fast. It wasn't the greatest sushi/tempura I've ever had, but it was good and worked well for our big group. I think the basic price is $39 per person. With tax and gratuity (automatically added for our large party) it came to about $44 each.

Yelp
I wanted to like the sushi here, but it was very lackluster. I ordered spicy tuna and salmon rolls, and the fish is more like a paste mixed with breadcrumbs. It feels like it's filler and texture-wise, not good.
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Nothing nice to say about this place. Stopped here during lunch with my husband very hopeful based on the reviews on google. But boy was I disappointed. The food quality is low. The nigiri is warm and does not taste fresh at all! I am not sure why others are reviewing this place and giving it high stars. The service was decent. Our waiter came by a couple of times and she was friendly. The place is outdated and could use some cleaning if we're being honest. It was busy for lunch, with faint music in the background and Harry Potter playing on a projector. Management really needs to reconsider the menu options and quality of food. I will definitely not be back.

Yelp
The sushi for an all you can eat restaurant was amazing and everything was top quality and delicious!! Service was friendly and food was delivered quickly! Highly recommend this spot!

Yelp
We had great service, a very attentive waiter kept coming back as we ordered little plates of everything a little bit at a time to see how full we were and see what we liked and wanted more of. We liked the curry beef (although breaded), udon noodles with chicken had amazing flavor, chicken teriyaki sushi (weird so I had to order it) , shu mai (little lamb dumplings), tobiko (fish egg sushi) and green tea ice cream. The all you can eat dinner price was $33 a person. The ambience is big loud room. The food came out at the perfect tempo and at the proper temperature. Our water glasses were kept full and out mounds of plates were taken away fairly promptly. We had fun trying random things we wouldn't have tried otherwise. Lunch might a better deal for the all you can eat. Give it a try!

Yelp
Previously I've eaten at Kyoto Sushi in Coon Rapids, Maple Grove (now called Akame Sushi), and Minneapolis. Yesterday I visited the one in Roseville. I arrived just after 1:00 p.m. and learned their AYCE lunch menu ends at 2:00 but could finish eating beyond that time. For the most part I was pleased. The food was good. Service is OK. One thing I didn't care for was no background music except from the kitchen. It looked like a crime drama or science fiction program played on a flat screen TV. Some authentic Asian music would improve the ambience there.

Yelp
Great variety of sushi and other Japanese cuisine! Service is pretty solid, but can get sometimes overwhelmed when the place gets crowded!

Yelp
Great wait staff. The appetizers/ small plates are the star of the show at this place. The sushi is very mid.

Yelp
This is my go to all you can eat sushi place. It has good service and a large variety in the all you can eat menu. The sushi quality isn't incredible, but that's pretty standard for all you can eat places. I think it's good enough, but I wouldn't buy it a la carte.
google avatar

Yelp
In terms of their sushi, I wouldn't rate it very high. In my opinion there are plenty of better options for sushi. Granted I've only ever gone for all you can eat so I'm sure they aren't generous on the fish/other pricier ingredients to still make money for AYCe, but in general the sushi is incredibly mediocre to just not worth it. However if you're looking for a decent price for AYCE sushi and appetizers, their weekday lunch price is a great deal. For around $21-$22 including tip you can have unlimited rolls, appetizers, and certain entrees which makes it pretty worth for an average hungry person. I personally think their appetizers and fried udon are the most worth it and would rather get those over sushi. Their tempura is pretty well made, favorites are the shrimp tempura and sweet potato tempura. Favorite roll is their snow mountain roll and favorite dish is their beef fried udon. If you're looking for an nice sushi place, you might want to look elsewhere. If you're looking for a lot of food at a decent price point, the weekday AYCE is not a bad idea.

Nhilang1234 ..

Yelp
I enjoy their lunch buffet. It was around $26 per person during weekend lunch. Make sure you come hungry! I like their chicken wings, scallop, salmon teriyaki, and sushi rolls!

Yelp
Great food, friendly staff. I try to get here a couple times a month....great AYCE daytime price.

Yelp
*ASK FOR THE DINNER MENU* We tried this restaurant today. Service was quick & kind. Cleanliness was average. Bathrooms could be cleaner. Food was alright. We went during lunch hours and their lunch menu is very limited. Little did we know, you can ask for the dinner menu, get many more options and just pay for the dinner price. Nigiri has way too much rice. Sashimi is only offered for the dinner price. Funniest thing is that they do not present the sashimi very well at all (photo included). Udon is soooo plane & it's a dry dish. We got the seafood udon and they put 3 shrimp only. Ramen is super plane also. Not worth your stomach.

Yelp
Well this is truly a shame, I was very exited to go on a nice outing to what seemed to be a decent sushi place lace but wow was I mislead. First off the food tasted ok nothing super special, but one roll I was feeling iffy on and man I should've stopped there. The next day at 4am I am withered with chills and puking the hardest I ever have into my best friends toilet I damn near gave myself a hernia. Kyoto sushi please up your quality even if it costs extra, nobody should ever have to feel the pain of riding 4 hours in a car when they have food poisoning.

Yelp
My friends and I have made this our regular spot when we meet up for dinner. We go during the week for AYCE and it's usually not very packed so we can sit there for a while and catch up. All of the servers have been great and attentive. The sushi is good but will not blow your mind but remember, the price will! AYCE menus are great because it allows you to try different foods and you don't get stuck with a massive entree so no worries if it's not up your alley. We also tend to share dishes so that also helps us be adventurous. My usuals from a few category are the following: Deep fried - scallops, dumplings Sashimi - salmon Sushi with rice - unagi, spicy salmon Maki - kyoto roll, caterpillar Hand rolls - shrimp tempura, spicy salmon, cucumber avocado roll, salmon roll, avocado roll Ice cream - green Tea or strawberry (or both!) I tend to gravitate away from deep fried rolls in general but my friends that order them are always pleased. They offer beer, wine, sake, and pop. We learned one day it's a very generous portion of sake so we all ended up drinking the sake! Parking lot available and easy to find spots in. They offer beer, wine, sake, and

Yelp
Always a good time, portions are excellent. Not the best quality of sashimi I've ever had, but definitely good and again, portions! Great value. Eel fried rice is super tasty, too. Very fast delivery.

Yelp
Kyoto is great sushi restaurant with fast service. We love to come for lunch, and worth the wait!
google avatar

Yelp
This place has been here a long time. I love the all you can eat option and although its not the best sushi, it's definitely a decent selection. It's a big place and I think sometimes the wait staff is over-extended. Easy parking, pretty clean.

Yelp
No better deal than just over $20 with a tip for all you can eat! I typically stick to sushi, shrimp tempura, and the vanilla bean ice cream but they have a large menu with tons of other things from udon noodles, edamame, hand rolls, etc. We came on a busy Friday afternoon and there was almost every table full. The server could've been a bit more attentive and she forget a few things (never got a fork requested twice, forgot soda request twice, walked away before our table finished out order). We could tell she was busy though and would check in when time allowed - she was nice enough. The food was 10/10 - can't beat it for the cost! Random but I'm pretty sure the soda was not fountain, no biggie but nothing beats a fountain drink. Dinner menu for all you can eat is more expensive (still great deal) and has more options so check out menus before. If you're a sushi fan, run don't walk to Kyoto!

Yelp
****food poisoning (more details towards the end) Although I rated this place very low, I would come back to try their non-sashimi/raw fish items such as their fried rice, fried dishes, noodles, and specialty rolls. On a Thursday evening, my friend and I decided to dine-in for their AYCE sushi option (~30/person). The wait was only 20 minutes but I would recommend getting a reservation ahead of time since the restaurant closes at 9pm. I am a huge sashimi and sushi lover. I read the reviews before coming here and had low expectations for the quality and taste (but who doesn't love all you can eat places???). However, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here. The establishment was clean and had a great atmosphere and bar area for date nights. Every server I interacted with was very kind and patient. I tried almost all of the sashimi they offered and found the selection to be interesting and tasteful (I've never had Tilapia or Escobar sashimi before!). My favorite dishes were the fried scallops and the specialty rolls (highly recommend the Sakura Roll). The dipping sauce for the fried Dumplings were also a major plus. The menu had a variety of options I don't often see at other AYCE restaurants such as different selections of fried rice, noodles, soups, and other dishes. Which is great because I would not be coming back for their sashimi. Although, I had no issues taste-wise with the sashimi- my friend and I ended up getting food poisoning after eating here. My friend was impacted a lot more than I was and had symptoms of vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, chills, sweats, fatigue, and aches. I luckily only got by with nausea and abdominal discomfort. Overall, I don't think the quality justifies for how expensive this dinner was ($64.40 for 2 people) but would recommend trying their other stuff. Although proceed with caution when trying anything raw from Kyoto as myself and other reviewers have experienced cases of food poisoning.

J K.

Yelp
This is not particular to this restaurant, It's a nasty habit I have only seen in MN. waiters carry your bowls with one of their fingers over the rim of your bowl. Nowhere in the NE would you ever find a finger brushing against your rice and in your soup. Waiters should hold the bottom of your bowls and plates. A tray may be helpful. So I come home and have to take my oreganol because I'm like the waiter is touching all kinds of things and his finger was in my bowl as he carried it. Ratched.

Duoyun S.

Yelp
great restaurant! Service was great. The waitress was very patient. Knowing that it's our first time, she introduced dishes for us. Fishes are fresh.

Yelp
food was great amazing service good prices the setting was really nice and the drink selection was very good I liked the music playing and they had sports on that was a plus get a fancy meal and a nice experienc.

Yelp
Met friends here for dinner- there is a strong fishy odor which isn't a good sign at a sushi place- but I tried to avoid anything explicitly raw. The menu for all you can eat is large, there is a ton of options. I liked most of what I tried, some of the stuff we ordered never came and we were also delivered items we hadn't ordered. I would go back, we had fun trying new items. Skip the chicken teriyaki Try the Dynamite roll that was my fav

Yelp
Honestly I think us Yelpers get a bit crazed with our expectations sometimes. This is the one time I guess I'm coming back to earth and realize that this place is an AYCE establishment, as in we should be comparing this place to Teppanyaki (Fridley), Hibachi (Spring Lake Park), Royal Buffet (Burnsville), and in this case we're in Roseville, so there's Great Dragon (St. Anthony), Panda Gardens (Roseville), and Great Moon (Columbia Heights). The first three serving authentic fare and the latter three being 100% American-Chinese. There's also India Palace in Roseville that's AYCE. I wanted to make this clear as my review is not basing this place as a Sushi restaurant, compared to places such as the late Origami (which was my fav), Masu, Sakura, Sanji-ya, Fuji-ya, Tiger, etc etc. You get the point. If the latter Sushi establishments were to offer an AYCE option, it would be $35-40/person today. Remember when Ichiban tried that with the sushi river concept? And do we remember how it went for them? Right. The food quality started to slide in earnest. And...There is no longer an Ichiban. And they were charging $30. This was like 15-20 yrs ago. So if I closed my eyes and imagined a mall restaurant like Big Bowl or PF Chang's serving a 5-course Bento meal, starting with miso soup, then with cold plates like maki rolls, hand rolls, and nigiri. Follow that up with all the tempura you want like shrimp, scallop (albeit imitation), squid, veggies. Now comes the hot plates with your choice of Udon, Ramen, or Teppanyaki fried rice, with a side of Teriyaki meat of your choice. Now that you're stuffed like a duck cap it off with either green tea or red bean ice cream. All this for the same price as a meal at Old Country Buffet. Ok now would you complain that it doesn't taste like Masu?? BTW I just listed what I ordered in the order I wanted it. You can have all this anyway you want, literally no limitations...have Ramen AND Don rice bowls, or all sushi. Whatever suites your fancy. It's all very edible, and it's a fun experience. I would say it's tops for AYCE sushi compared to the big buffets like Teppanyaki and Hibachi. Ok well if you skipped the fried "scallops" you wouldn't be missing much. Be sure to get the Eel fried rice. If you haven't tried Japanese food before this is a great way to try it all. What's great is that the formula is working, and all that without needing a sushi river. And may my OG favorite Japanese stops like Origami, Ichiban, Kikkugawa, Tanpopo, and Obento-ya R.I.P.

Yelp
So we came here because Google provides decent reviews by thousands of people. Holy cow... there are a ton of people who haven't tasted quality sushi. Lol First things first, very nice service and servers. They deserve a raise for delivering low grade fish that the owner chose for them to serve. Very bad sushi spot. Should've trusted my gut on this one. All you can eat sushi is usually a bad sign for quality. It's low grade seafood. Most of their sushi plates are crab and shrimp based also. Some salmon, tuna, mackerel, and yellow tail. I tried a variety from nigiri to raw and cooked rolls. Each roll came with 5 or 6 small pieces. They were all underwhelming--especially the nigiri. I like eating nigiri to understand what we're working with... and yeah. These chefs aren't working with much. The rice was crumbling and a bit dry, it didn't look or taste like quality Japanese rice at all. The tuna and salmon on the nigiri was low quality. The red tuna had a bad after taste. It's $31 per person for all you can eat. I barely got through my rolls. Going to grab some good quality sushi tomorrow to make up for today. Lol

Yelp
Love love love Kyoto Sushi, as far as AYCE sushi goes. The service is always great. It never takes a long time to get the sushi, and it always is presented well. I would go here weekly if I could.

Yelp
This is my go-to all you can eat sushi place! Lunch is cheaper than dinner and it has less options - sashimi is only available during dinner - so I would highly recommend/prefer their dinner. The quality of the sushi is not top notch, but it is very good. Again, I love dinner because you can order sashimi with their AYCE menu. In addition, I always order their unagi sushi, and when I say order, I mean I order 20 pieces for just me. There's plenty to choose from, from appetizers like edamame and miso soup to sushi rolls like dynamite and sexy girl. They also have udon, donburi bowls, tempura options, and teriyaki grilled items. Don't forget their dessert! A scoop of red bean and a scoop of green tea!

Yelp
Was shopping in the mail the Kyoto was located in and thought, is been a bit. Despite the dated ambiance, and ripped up seats. I was pleasantly surprised. They completely updated the decorations, New seats, and Didn't smell "fishy" either. My wait persons name was James and he was one of the most attentive waiting staff that has ever served me. Management, give James a raise ‼

Yelp
The big long black hair in my takeout threw me off a little bit. I wasn't able to finish my food because I was so disgusted. The worker who greeted me was very friendly though.

Yelp
Visited Kyoto Sushi around 1:30-2 pm on a very busy Saturday for a late AYCE sushi lunch and were put on a waitlist. The host told us it would be at least 30 minutes, but we were seated by 1:50pm. I have been to Kyoto several times for AYCE, but it had been a while. I recall their AYCE menu used to offer more variety and options, but maybe the dinner AYCE offers more. The portion sizes for the beef teriyaki were so small that we weren't actually sure how many we had gotten. We ordered 3 initially and it seemed enough for 1 portion/came out on 1 plate altogether, so we ended up ordering more after realizing what the portion size was. The food came out in a timely fashion, but our server seemed distracted. When our server brought out our check, they had charged a full adult price for my 9-year-old niece. They corrected it upon request. My experience is that Kyoto used to offer better service and food quality, and I probably won't be returning.

Yelp
I have been to and go often to the sister restaurant tokyo sushi in maplewood but was in Roseville and thought I would try this one instead. Atmosphere- this restaurant was pretty small from what I am comparing it to and the music was very loud. They have booth, table and high top seats. The sushi making area is open so depending on where you are seated you can somewhat see them making the sushi. Service- our waitress was very nice here and polite so no complaints at all. Food- the menu for the all you can eat is a little different here then at Tokyo but everything we had was good. Some favorites are the chicken teriyaki roll, sweet potato roll, Boston roll, pizza sushi and dumplings. The sushi was made well. Overall- I gave this four out of five stars because I prefer tokyo sushi in maplewood and it was really noisy here, however that being said I don't have any complaints about the food or service.

Yelp
I have mixed, but mostly good, feelings about Kyoto Sushi. It's AYCE (All You Can Eat) sushi for a fixed price, which depends upon whether you're there for lunch or dinner. If you're hungry, it's a good deal. The place itself is nice enough, although the seats are often ripped and it looks a bit tired and run down. Food itself is made to order and they're making it quickly. Sushi rolls sometimes have an uneven appearance, since they're slapped together, but they taste good. Among the maki veggie rolls, the peanut & avocado roll is my favorite, with the fried sweet potato roll a close second. Their sushi menu is large and it's impressive how much and how many types they can make. Beyond sushi, they have salad, noodles (udon or ramen) and soup, plus ice cream for dessert (red bean, green tea or vanilla). All in all, a place that we return to and can recommend that you try!

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of the Kyoto in Uptown so I figured I would try this location. First major perk is the parking lot! There is no fight for parking and no need to pay for street parking, which is super nice. Second major perk is the fact that the menu seems to have more things (?!) than the Uptown menu. I might be mistaken, but the dinner menu seemed more robust. In any case, I loved the selection and stuffed my face with the AYCE. It did take a bit for my party to be seated - there were about 10 of us. We waited around while there was open high-top seating available. It wasn't until about 10 minutes later that they asked if we would be interested in the high-top seating. I wish they would've asked earlier because we ended up sitting there anyways! All in all, another great Kyoto location!

Yelp
Been going here for as long as I can remember, and have a great experience every time. Prices are super reasonable for all you can eat, and staff is always quick and attentive. Good selection for a quick bite. I usually go for lunch because the dinner is more expensive (although they offer a wider selection for dinner). Recommend this place to anyone who is looking for all you can eat sushi.

Yelp
This has slowly moved down the ranks in both quality and atmosphere. The yellowtail is rarely fresh, and I now avoid rolls with deep fried anything because the oil taste old. I believe they have been hands down beat out by Akita in Woodbury and Tokyo Sushi in West Saint Paul. This review is specific to the Roseville location. Service here is good though.

Yelp
I went to Kyoto Sushi this past weekend and the sushi was not great. The rice and soy sauce were very sweet and the wasabi tasted off as well, though I'm not sure why. The fish included in the sushi were also very small and were quite bland. Our server, however, was very nice and attentive!

Yelp
Good place for a sushi night. Great ambiance and customer service. Take advantage of the all you can eat deal, it's worth it.

Yelp
All you can eat sushi table service? Sign me up! Had everything vegetarian on the menu and it was all pretty good, haven't overeaten like this in more than a year. Thank you Kyoto sushi for the experience. I could barely stomach the desert but next time I will focus on the rolls, the standard California and avocado cucumber with some soy sauce and wasabi are all I need to fix a sushi craving. Having a sushi craving? Don't eat anything all day and go here!

Yelp
The service was horrible. I had to ask the server where the food was? I told him to cancel the food and magically he came with it. He looked like he just rolled out of bed. He sat behind the bar hiding on his phone. He never came and asked how we were doing.
