Good view of the surroundings. Could be used to strategize your visits around town and pick out things you want to go see. The roof top bar is a bit too themed but had cold drinks for a hot day with good service and nice seats.

It's a typical food court Japanese style. There are lots of counter seats at the various places and tables. A reasonable selection of types of food. My first day trying a place, the food was terrible, but I went to a different place se and I had yakadon and yakatori. Both were good and reasonably priced.

Their food hall is amazing packed with a variety of local eats, desserts, and matcha drinks. One of the best parts is how easy and stress-free everything is. You don’t need to wait in long lines or run from stall to stall. Just grab any open seat in the food hall, scan the QR code, and you can order from multiple vendors all from your phone. It’s quick, super convenient, and perfect if you want to try a little bit of everything without the hassle.

Cool food hall in the basement of Kyoto Tower. The outlets cater to most tastes and include Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Western cuisines. The unagi rice and Korean snack set were quite good.

Kyoto Tower Sando is a vibrant shopping and dining complex located at the base of Kyoto Tower. It offers a variety of local shops, souvenirs, and unique eateries, making it a great spot to explore. The food options range from traditional Kyoto dishes to modern treats, and everything is beautifully presented. The atmosphere is lively but well-organized. A perfect stop for grabbing a meal or picking up souvenirs while visiting Kyoto Tower.

Staff clearly doing the bare minimum, probably feed up being on touristic mall dealing with annoying and non respectful people. We had some food just to go along with our beers, the Bruscheta small and interesting. The nachos, just a mess on a plate. The beers, we had the 2 towers. One matcha and the other Sakura, just plain normal beer with match or liquid artificial flavour added (and mixed making the beer lose it's structure). Totally not worth it, with so many good beer places nearby this choice was not one of my best moments.

We sampled so many booths! Definitely worth a visit if you don't know what you're in the mood for. Everything we had was delicious.

Yelp
Was at Kyoto Station and decided to check out the tower. Unexpectedly came into the bustling, yummy food hall! I wanted to try a Japanese pancake, and hubby wanted real food, beef! The tables on the floor are open seating. My husband had a counter seat and asked if I could bring my pancake over - no problem! Both dishes were very good, and I loved the vibe of the food hall, with aromas from well-known eateries wafting through the air.

Yelp
Best pancake I've ever had. The texture and fluffiness mixed with the matcha flavor is not found in this side of the world!

Yelp
Good for a group (4 or more) with people with different dietary restrictions and preferences. There are several stations in this basement food hall. First, get a table for everyone then take turns going to your station choice to order, pay and receive a pager that will let you know when your order is ready. There's Western food, Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese as well as various Japanese specialties. For example I got a nice wasabi pork rice bowl and a sparkling sangria from the ramen station. When done, return your whole tray to the station you ordered from. I deducted one star because we had to wipe our table off - the cleaning staff wasn't around when we needed them.

Yelp
It's very convenient place for us to try drinking craft beer, Japanese Sake, wine and juice made in Kyoto. The craft beer tasting set made me enjoy 3 different types of beer. The company of these beers are made in Kyoto brewery co. https://kyotobrewing.com We can select 4 menus, which are 3grades and weekly selection, of Japanese Sake tasting set. Each menus can also taste 3kinds of different brands of Sake made in Kyoto. The rank of 3grades show below. Top:Daiginjo ,Second:Ginjo ,Third:Junmai The price is in proportion to Sake grade. Weekly Sakagura selections ,which I recommend, combine with each grade of Sake. You can bring foods(bought from other restaurant in the same floor) to the counter table at this bar. I enjoyed eating Mexican and Gyoza with craft beers and Sake.

Yelp
I was drawn to the lights like a moth. Very inviting and quite a popular spot. They had an interesting menu with matcha cocktails, beer, lattes. I tried the green tea beer and it was delicious. It was the right amount of matcha powder mix in with the beer. It's a great atmosphere where they are centered of the food hall.

Yelp
Most of the people here seem to be really nice. The food is good and it's a good place to spend money if you have spare time and are hungry. But do NOT waste your time and money at the Kyoto Chicken Tacos Mexico food stall. The staff were rude and picked on multiple customers as soon as they walked away. I watched it all go down. The food is okay but tastes nothing like real Mexican food. It honestly wouldn't be too bad if they got rid of the teen staff behind the counter, especially the rude girl with the pinched up face.
