Kyrenia beach bar restaurant

I feel it's a hidden gem of a place. Not very hard to reach by car. It's just there by the beach and they have a couple of sunbeds and umbrellas to rent but you can easily bring your own. The beach is pebbles and it's basically 1km or more of beach to yourself... the water is beautiful and clean. I've been there many times and it's almost always very windy in the afternoon. The food is very decent; we had Swordfish, calamari, sea bass, all was great and tasty and the price is right. Service is very decent.

Very scenic restaurant on the beach, reccomend seafood options, had the mussels and swordfish was very tasty, really good price to match.

I love this place. The food is great, the service perfect, and the location is peaceful and gorgeous. I don't know why people flock to Melanda, with its bright lights and fried food. Maybe because it has more signs? This is where you want to be.

Our meal did not taste good (…), but the staff was really friendly, the view is great and we will give it another try, as they made us an offer we cannot refuse after our complaint on the food. We went back a couple of days later and had the mussels. Well prepared, especially the mediterranian. Had the delicious sticky toffee for desert. The secret according to Pambos is to ask what is home made! So forget the burger (“That’s for children.”) and enjoy the homemade dishes. We will definitely come back now we know what to look for!

The beach bar restaurant itself lies in a remote quiet area. Plenty of parking outside. Getting there might prove a little bit tricky as it is not at all correctly placed on google maps. The best way to get there is through the Akrotiri military base towards the monastery of Symboulas Christ. Once you get there without taking the turn towards the monastery take the road towards Pissouri. On your way you will reach an another road (cleft stick) where on your right says Pissouri whereas on your left it says Avdimou bay. Follow the road on your left. A quite narrow winding road will get you there (3km approximately), but drive slowly and carefully. Personally I did not sit at the restaurant but went to the beach. There are sun beds and umbrellas close to the restaurant but the beach goes a long way. Mostly sandy with pebbles and clean waters. Away from the crowds but difficult to get to.

For the 1st time there. Quick service, huge portions. Big choice of meat fish and other dishes. Not expensive

Excellent service the food was good and at a very reasonable price. The view across the sea whilst having your food is a bonus.
