We arrived early & the hotel were unable to book us in before 1pm which although frustrating it was understandable. Parking was made available outside which was great. |The room was tiny (lotus), wallpaper was hanging off or gone altogether, the floor felt spongy so we feared falling through, evidence of serious wood-rot in many places, bathroom was odd with boxing & toilet pan connector coming through the wall. A party was going on with what appeared to be staff till the wee hours which i slept through but my wife did not. Have a look at the photos which are sadly faulty-towers-esq. |the breakfast was lovely but coffee chargeable.|Beautiful looking hotel but not for us.

The most unique hotel that I ever stayed. It makes you feel that you travel in time. The location is amazing, just a few steps away from the old harbor. Absolutely recommended.

Despite the great location our family's stay at this Cyprus hotel was deeply disappointing. Our two-bedroom apartment, advertised with a kitchen, two bathrooms, and a pool, was far below the standard expected for £200 a night in what is renownedly considered a very affordable area. The property was unclean upon arrival (hair, used bottles, cigar/cigarette butts and a dirty pool), and the facilities were severely lacking. Issues included a microwave plug incompatible with the socket, a dribbling shower and tap making one of the bathrooms unusable, inadequate bin bags, grease stains and ripped seams on the sofa, and showers and toilet seats on the verge of collapse. The air conditioning leaked profusely, causing a significant puddle that resulted in our four-year-old daughter slipping and injuring herself. |Furthermore, despite our expectations, no cleaning service was provided during our three-night stay. We contacted management to address these serious issues and request a partial refund. However, instead of a helpful response, management visited our apartment while we were putting our young children (aged two and four) to bed, suggesting a move to separate rooms in the main hotel. This was unacceptable for several reasons: we were already unpacked, moving at bedtime with two young children was highly disruptive, and separating our family went against the reason for renting the apartment with a kitchen and pool. Their accusation that we were avoiding them and refusing access to their employee was completely false, a claim we offered to verify with the hotel's CCTV footage. Despite their promise to review the situation and potentially refund part of our payment, they have remained unresponsive since our departure. |This hotel offers neither the quality accommodation nor the customer service to justify its price. The blatant disregard for our complaints and the false accusations made by management are simply unacceptable. I strongly advise against booking this property.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Kyrenia Palace. The hygiene standards were shockingly poor — the room was clearly not properly cleaned before our arrival. We found hair from previous guests on the bedding and in the bathroom, the ashtrays were still full from whoever stayed before us, there is mould and leaks in the roof while the taps barely pour any water.| It was extremely disappointing and made the whole experience uncomfortable. Cleanliness is the most basic expectation, and sadly, Kyrenia Palace completely failed to meet it.||I know what it is to maintain an old building and sadly they fall very short from their duty when it came to maintenance and the fixtures and fittings. ||We did bring this to the attention of the staff who offered to move us but this was offered on the 2nd night at 7pm and being a family with 2 small kids it made no sense as we already slept there the night before.|We couldn't speak to anyone from management and they kept being untruthful making up that we didn't give them access to the room and then simply ignoring our messages. ||One of the worst places i stayed in and apart from a good location it has absolutely nothing to offer.

Quirky hotel & just as the pictures show. However don’t expect a drink at the bar as there is no one to run it - only a receptionist who does not know how to pour a drink/no training! We had to make our own to show him!!!! Very near to harbour which is newly renovated with lots of decent bars & restaurants. It is next door to the mosque as described - if u don’t want to be woken at 0530 every day, take ear plugs! Only minor criticism of the room (Rose) was that there was no fitted sheet in bed so it kept ‘rucking up’ & the duvet was not big enough for two. One light in bathroom did not work (bulb) - was reported but not fixed during our 4 night stay which made make-up application difficult as room was quite dark. Bed comfy but old & creaky - every time we rolled over it creaked dramatically! Breakfast good & fresh each morning. Great location for a short stay only.
