Kystmuseet Skagen

One of the nicest and most detailed museum I have ever seen. Very well looked after and thought out. I was also amazed about the kids area. I would've liked to stay and play there myself too! We will be back for sure and I would recommend it to everyone.

I was a little confused at the entry, but once I figured it out I had a wonderful time! The displays were very interesting, especially out back, and the gift shop is very cute.

This a wonderful local museum. I enjoyed the stories it tells of the town's maritime history and fishing trade. Anyone with a sense of history will enjoy what this museum had to offer. Plus, it just a short walk from Drachmans hus and the town center.

Museum showcases mostly old days of fisherman and various pieces of history in relation to ferries and ship wrecks. It costs 110 kr per person and u can visit kystmuseet in skagen, and two other places with this ticket within a week or so. U will also be provided with an audio guide tool which on scanning on various points in museum will play relevant audios accordingly. You have to return it when you leave the museum. There are some cool antiques in this museum but i didn't find it that interesting. May be other kystmuseet might be. It's like an ok place to visit if you are in skagen, but wouldn't say it's something u should be visiting if you are in skagen.

Very friendly staff! The museum itself has a lot to see which connects to the history of Skagen.

Exciting display, lots of details you wouldn't have imagined. Maritime memorial boards and rescue services on display as well. Well worth a visit.

You need a good map, and be prepared to walk to see this area properly.
