If I can give a zero star, I would. This restaurant is dishonest and the reviews for this restaurant are misleading. Two of us ordered two bowls of Yin Yang ramen. The menu listed scallops, but the actual bowls didn't, with no explanation. I called the waitress over, and she simply said, "Oh! We're out of scallops!" No apology was offered. I asked, "Aren't you offering to compensate us with something else for the missing ingredients?" Then she turned around and went ask. The problem is, scallops aren't just any ordinary ingredient; they're expensive, and I ordered Yin Yang ramen because of scallops! Later, a waiter hastily placed two tempura shrimp on the table without any explanation or apology. Personally, I think if ingredients are out, customers should be informed first, rather than just letting customers discover it. This business practice is unacceptable! I I would advise everyone: if you order Yin Yang Ramen, pay attention to the ingredients in your bowl!!
Furthermore, this restaurant impose an 18% service charge, regardless of the number of people. We were just two people, and they were still charged 18%. I believe tips should be determined by the guests, not the restaurant. Not only is this restaurant dishonest, but the staffs are not friendly and attentive at all. When I asked for the bill, I pressed the "call" button on the wall three times and waited for over ten minutes, but no one served me.
If the service was genuinely good, I'd be fine with an 18% service charge. But this restaurant started by omitted an expensive ingredient, then ignored customers, and then imposed an 18% service charge. This mandatory 18% service charge is completely unreasonable.
This restaurant operates in such a dishonest way, I am not coming back!!!
