L'Atelier Du Vin Wine and Cocktail Bar

This place is unique. It’s like a Parisian speakeasy. The staff are really smiley. They served good cocktails. The music was lovely, the chairs comfy. But it’s the atmosphere that makes it interesting and the decor makes you want to stay. On top of that the staff and the drinks are excellent.

Had a great time last Friday night. The team were thoughtful, knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining! I can't wait to go back and see which wine they can suggest from their extensive selection. They are also master cocktail makers! If you look at the pictures - that is the amazing choice of spirits! It would take me years to get though those! The team will make you feel very welcome! One of my favourite cocktail bars in Brighton really let me down tonight when bringing some work colleagues. Wouldn’t serve one of team a lime & soda (only a giant bottle of sparkling water) all the cocktails were just atrocious- had to send the palomas back and we left half the margaritas. Cocktails take skill and you can’t charge people this amount of money for unbalanced, undrinkable drinks… likely won’t be back.

Really disappointed on my recent visit to this place. Used to be a favourite place for cocktails that I told people about. I wasn't drinking that evening and ordered a lime and soda. I was told by the wait staff that they '' didn't serve it'' (even though they had sparkling water and limes for margaritas). I felt pressured into buying a wine which is not cool. Won't be coming back.

My go-to bar when looking for cocktails or wine in a relaxed yet spirited environment! Very dog friendly. The team are always friendly, chatty and professional - really knowledgeable and happy to make recommendations. Can usually walk in for a table if there are 2-3 of you but better to book for weekend evenings.

An absolutely beautifully designed cocktail bar with some food options in London Road Brighton, close to the Royal Pavilion. Beautifully designed and an amazing ambience if you just want a great place to relax. They specialise in prohibition cocktails as well as a great choice in Champagne cocktails and an excellent choice of wines. Prices are high but worth it for that magical atmosphere. I really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and if you want a blast to the past, this is the place! Highly recommended.

Wow! What a great cocktail bar! Brilliantly decorated with a speakeasy feel. The cocktail menu is laid out brilliantly with clever titles. Would visit Brighton again just to come here again!

Fantastic gem just a short 15 min walk from the Brighton Pier. This space is fantastic with a funky bar and unusual stools. The staff is personable, knowledgeable, and most importantly make fab cocktails. They were serving up some gorgeous looking cheese plates, too. They specialize in the classics and make them right. Loved everything we tried including the Lucien Gaudin and a nice champagne cocktail. They were running a negroni special when we visited that was a total steal. Three different versions- vintage (made with old bottles produced before recipes changed), classic, and barrel aged. Amazing!! Recommend and would definitely return.

Don't go here. I've given it one star, not based off the bar itself, I wouldn't know about it as we didn't even get in. Before I could even get to the window to read the menu on display, the owner (or front of house) comes out and asks "can I help you" with a face that looks shocked by us even coming close to the bar, this whole time not once asking us if we'd like to come in for a drink or a table. We tell him we are just looking at the menu and he proceeds to tell us "it's only a Christmas menu, but can I help you with anything else?" This whole time blocking the entrance, still looking at me with this perplexed face. I've never felt such a hostile welcoming from front of house. The fact I couldn't even get inside without him asking why I'm even at the door In the first place should go to show that this bar does not welcome all. After telling him I probably won't come here again (seeing as I clearly wasn't wanted) he then says "fuck you" to me as I'm walking away. Horrible service that didn't even include anything being served, apart from his "fuck you" remark. Don't go here, it's a danger zone.
