"Aspen’s best bar menu is found at L’Hostaria, making it the place where visitors whose pockets aren’t lined with dough can savor the Aspen vibe without the bill that typically accompanies it. Sit in the bar, order a calamari fritti and crostino alla burrata, and pair with a martini." - MATADOR_NETWORK
"This is the kind of dimly lit, old-school fine dining experience that put Aspen on the map and has continued to define the town as a foodie's paradise. Expect house-made pastas, an outrageously extensive wine list, impeccable service, and an ever-stylish crowd."
Pretentious restaurant and they have all the reasons to be: the inside was chic, the staff was very professional and accommodating, presentation of the food was impeccable. So why only 3 stars? The food was kinda bland, I was expecting my pasta to be more like fettuccine (that's what the menu said) but I just got spaghetti and worst of all, when I exited the place the whole entrance area (where people were also eating) was smelling like toilet heavily.

Amazing food. My new favorite resturant in Aspen. The buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto was amazing and I highly recommend it. My main course was a seafood dish and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was very accommodating and kind and served to us in a timely matter. This restaurant is definitely the best in aspen

Great Italian food in the heart of Aspen. Make sure you call ahead as this place gets busy. Also keep in mind the price. Great quality does not come cheap in Aspen.

Dinner for 2 @ 6pm on a Saturday. Very nice staff, the sommelier was very knowledgeable and guided us to a nice bottle. Servers were very friendly and attentive. For me the food just fell flat; Calamari was chewy and the bread coating wasn't very good. Pasta was fine but not extraordinary. Like most of Aspen, the food was just overpriced for what it was.
