My girlfriend and I visited the store a few days ago. The staff is super friendly. We tried some of the liqueurs they make and really liked them. Their taste is extraordinary. The guy also gave us tips for different cocktails with their products. They also have sweets which are infused with their liqueurs and they have just the right amount of alcohol so you feel the alcohol in a very delicate way. I strongly recommend visiting the store when you are in Monaco!

Such a delightful stop. We sampled and bought 500ml of our favorite. I wish we could fit more in our luggage! The shop and proprietor were likewise incredible. Can’t recommend it enough.

L'Orangerie started some years ago as a company that made orange liqueur from the bitter oranges in Monaco. It's important for them to use no artificial ingredients, no colourants or preservatives. You can see that very well on the bottle, it is just oranges, sugar and water. The new carob liqueur "Carruba" contains cane sugar and vanilla apart from carob beans extracted by alcohol and water. The new citrus gin "Gin Aux Agrumes" was the first-ever gin to be distilled in Monaco and was a success from the beginning. From my point of view the artisan-made products are a bit too expensive for every day drinking (what would not be too healthy anyways), but something you open at a special occasion or really phantastic presents or souvenirs.

So when you thought you knew everything that Monaco has to offer, guess again. Philip's extraordinary drinks are a true find, but be ware, the shop is hidden from the main streams in Monaco. My recommendation would be to put this one on your to do list. Thanks for the delicious drinks (I went for all three in the end: l'Orangerie, carouba and the supersoft gin.) Better rates in the shop compared to Nice Airport too btw.
