L'Orangerie started some years ago as a company that made orange liqueur from the bitter oranges in Monaco. It's important for them to use no artificial ingredients, no colourants or preservatives. You can see that very well on the bottle, it is just oranges, sugar and water. The new carob liqueur "Carruba" contains cane sugar and vanilla apart from carob beans extracted by alcohol and water.
The new citrus gin "Gin Aux Agrumes" was the first-ever gin to be distilled in Monaco and was a success from the beginning.
From my point of view the artisan-made products are a bit too expensive for every day drinking (what would not be too healthy anyways), but something you open at a special occasion or really phantastic presents or souvenirs.
