If you're visiting any of the Salentino nearby wineries, this spot is a great place to take a break and grab a bite. It’s not exactly a restaurant, but more of a cantine, where you choose from a selection of freshly prepared seasonal dishes. The options vary from lasagna and different types of pasta to croquettes, vegetables, and focaccia.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to explain the dishes and even recommend options based on your preferences.
The only downside is that the pasta dishes may have been cooked a while earlier, so they’re not always perfectly al dente. If you’re as particular as I am about pasta texture, you might want to ask the staff to wait for a fresh batch and get your dish as soon as it comes out of the kitchen.
One of the highlights of this place is the beautiful outdoor terrace—perfect for enjoying a meal on a lovely spring day ☀️
