L & H Latina

After responding to their email for check in information, my room was ready on arrival, even though it was prior to check in hour. A lovely welcome from Arantxa who offered to assist to lift my 2 heavy suitcases up the 8 stairs at the front door. Note: There are stairs to the front door. The hotel is moody and dark and the upper floors are accessed by elevators and a stair case. They display some lovely photos and artwork throughout. My room was a normal hotel room with small kitchenette at one end.|Bed and linens, pillows were OK. The split system had a small rattle. The kitchenette is useful and being 153cm i would not have been able to reach a thing without their step stool found in the wardrobe. coffee machine, 2 burner hob, microwave, toaster and small fridge was very useful. Price was OK. There is a carrefour at end of the street and larger ones up at Tirso de Molina although there are a few Dias close by as well. Very walkable location. My huge negative about this hotel relates to the day time noise. After travelling 24 hours to get here and jetlagged i needed a daytime nap which was impossible even with earplugs as the thumps and bumps and noises ( i think housekeepers) were extreme. Also had a roudyish couple somewhere close. Maybe they were renovating upstairs but it was a bit over the top. This would be the only reason i would avoid next time. I moved to my next accomodation a day early.

La Latina Hotel was, overall, a wonderful hotel experience. The staff were friendly and professional. From the moment I called them (and my Spanish is not that strong) to the moment we checked out||The rooms were clean and properly furnished, and the amenities lived up to expectations. The location of the hotel is perfect for walking to pretty much anywhere in Madrid. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great location. Rooms were clean and well set up. Small kitchenette area. The FANTASTIC service from Isaac and Jav at the front desk was superlative! Isaac gave great dinner recommendations and Jav ordered a taxi on short notice. They were very friendly and extremely helpful!

The suite is great for traveling with kids. It’s spacious, beautiful and clean. The small kitchen is well-equipped, and super helpful to feed kids. We were really happy.

Extremely nice staffs! Issac even helped us parking at the parking lot 😂😂 we appreciate so much since we don’t have much experience parking in Europe Room is clean and quiet & all kitchen equipments. The hotel has bars and markets near by One star is missing because the noise of air conditioner in the room. Was quite loud and bothered us whole night

Centrally located. Very comfortable bed! Having the kitchenette was great too. Would seek this place out for my next visit to Madrid.

Good hotel. No problems with the room, except there is a metal door stopper in the middle of the bathroom floor that it’s easy to stub your toe on…! Mostly it was quiet and peaceful, not much noise from other rooms or outside. Coffee/water is only complimentary on the first night, not replenished unless you pay - this seems a bit stingy. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Location is quite good, but it’s not close to the Metro station that we needed to use - worth checking this if you know where you will go to/from during your stay.
