Delicious vegetarian food in Spain!! Must visit for anyone coming to Segovia. They offer meat options as well but most of their menu is vegetarian or vegan.
Portion sizes serve one person not in a starving quantity, so order accordingly. Example: pizza is about 8-10 inches.
We ordered 2 veggie pizzas and an eggplant (aubergine) Gratin with coffees at the end.
The interior is like an old cottage, extremely cozy, transports you back in time.
Two lovely ladies running it.
The highlight of this place is the taste of their dishes. All of them are amazing!
I highly recommend this place.

We walked into this restaurant by chance. The people were really nice and they had plenty of vegetarian options. We decided to try the veggie lasagna and it was very good. We also tried the tempura and the apple pie and all of them were great.

Many healthy and vegetarian options. Vegan options as well. All vegetables obviously fresh, not frozen. Wide variety of menu items. The prices seem expensive, but then the food arrives and you see the quantity and quality are quite good so I think it’s fair. I had a dish with sautéed tempeh, onions, mushrooms and peppers with a side salad of fresh tomatoes and cheese. Everything was quite good and filling. I will return.

Well run quiet restaurant. Wonderful hand painted decoration cover the walls. Has a real rustic feel to the place.
Food was really good, enjoyed every mouthful. Great location, just behind the Cathedral but away from the crowds.

Delicious canalone veradura. We also had pizzas, beer, and excellent cappuccinos. Friendly service and cozy atmosphere. Sometimes in a high tourism area like this, they take advantage of tourists with careless food and high prices. Not here!

Such a great little restaurant in the most perfect setting. Right next to the cathedral!
The interior is charming. Flowers painted in the walls make you feel like you are in an English Cottage garden. Crisp white vintage linens make it feel extra special.
Easy to call and make reservations for dinner. Super friendly service from that phone call to saying goodbye after our meal. When we arrived we were treated so nicely. Menus are in Español but easy to work through with my Spanglish. A young man took our drink order - an excellent beer selection - then a young woman came to answer some questions and to take our order.
The food was served in the perfect sequence and in a timely manner.
All dishes were very tasty and large portions. Starters were a pumpkin & carrot soup along with an avocado, grapefruit, corn, hard boiled egg, green salad. My husband and I shared both with him eating the egg so the salad was now vegan. Mains were the veggie lasagna for him and tofu & spinach spaghetti for me. Both served hot and delicious. I liked the tofu grilled on my pasta.
The two women checked on us, visited and treated us as if we were long time customers and so happy to have us there.
Definitely recommend this place. Especially if you are vegan or vegetarian.

I went to La Almuzara restaurant for lunch, following a recommendation from the Segovia tourist office, as my friend was looking for a veggie restaurant.
I was there during the Christmas vacation and I did not have a reservation. I got a table after about 10 minutes of wait. The food and service was great (I took the asparagus gratinado), I would strongly recommend you to stop there if you are looking for the same.

Yelp
Eat there twice in my two day stay in Segovia. Very highly recommend it! We are vegetarians and this is only one of two options we found in Segovia. They do have plenty of meat options but they also have a very nice assortment of vegan and vegetarian options. We very much enjoyed the tofu dish and the chop suey dish, we also enjoyed the veggie corquettes. The prices are great and so is the service. Great find.

Yelp
I specifically found this lunch spot because it was out of the city center in Segovia. I tend to dislike tourist areas because of the quality of food seems to be very poor. The service was great and the place was super quaint and not crowded at 1:30pm on a Wednesday. Started off with a french onion soup then ordered bolognese pasta as my main dish. The soup was fantastic and probably one of the best french onion soups i've ever had. I would give the bolognese 3 stars-I've had Italian pasta before and i'm a pasta snob so this just didn't cut it. I will say though that this wasn't your typical American pasta so I have to give them credit for that. My boyfriend ordered the lasagne which was too cheesy for me but he is a foodie and thoroughly enjoyed his meal.

Yelp
This place is so awesome. Family owned and great food, warm service, as well as the best place to go for fresh nutritious food in Segovia, let alone Madrid. We love it and have been here two nights in a row . Thank you Almuzara!

Yelp
Fantastic little spot near cathedral. Try the surprise salad (lettuce, carrot, beets, watermelon, apple, cheese). I had the surprise pizza which included chorizo, olive, anchovy, onion and other goodies. Partner had the cous cous, which was cabbage, onions and carrots served with gaspacho. Really good meal.
