We had a wonderful experience, the location is great it's downtown, the place was amazingly clean, there's a rooftop restaurant and two rooftop spa pools. They are not heated pools but the sun warms them up pretty well. There is also a larger swimming pool down in the courtyard, we came for 3 days we ended up staying for 8:00. It was an easy walk down to the colectivo, down to the Town center square Church and to the convent. It's 5 minutes away from the famous street Calle de Faissel as well. If you get a chance, a block away right behind Subway there is a restaurant there that has the most amazing Al pastor tacos.

I stayed at this open-air hotel while in Valladolid. I was happy to get to my room and turn on the AC. I had a good time sleeping. I didn't get a chance to use the pool, but the restaurant on the roof was nice. The staff were very friendly, and I got as much bottled water as I needed.

Nice hotel near the town square, rooms are really nice but the wifi is 50/50, but its good to have no internet sometimes and enjoy eachothers company, nice pool and staff.

We had a nightmarish experience at La Aurora Hotel Colonial in Valladolid. I had booked 13 rooms well in advance for a group of 26 people, yet when we arrived, only 10 rooms were available! The hotel moved the remaining 3 rooms to another property, causing unnecessary inconvenience and chaos. To make matters worse, most of the rooms didn’t even have towels, despite the hotel knowing our arrival time. When we asked for towels, we were told they’d be brought soon. After waiting over an hour, they finally delivered towels that were still wet from the dryer! When I tried to resolve these issues with the manager, he was completely indifferent and dismissive, telling me to “talk to Booking” instead of taking any responsibility. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. As if that wasn’t enough, the breakfast we paid extra for was mediocre at best and totally inadequate for a group of 26. The portions were small, and we were left feeling like the hotel simply wasn’t prepared to handle a group booking of this size. Avoid this hotel

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The rooms are a little rough around the edges, but overall an excellent value and I would stay again. We stayed here during hurricane Beryl and it was still a pleasant experience. Great location and housekeeping. The hotel is well decorated and the courtyard pool was fabulous. The roof is very nice with 2 small pools and a restaurant. The bathroom showers could be better set up and maintained especially some non slip tape on the floor. Water got everywhere and the tile was very slippery with bare feet. My kids said there wasn't much water pressure in their room, but ours was fine. The bed mattress was comfortable enough but the linens could use an upgrade.

Lovely hotel, enjoyed our stay. We were staying in Valladolid for one night before we went to Chichen Itza and was a good choice. Drinking water is slightly sparse but you can ask for bottles at the front desk if you are only using them for drinking water within the hotel. Please note that there is a package tour that the hotel offers where you can go to 2 cenotes AND your choice of Chichen Itza or Ek Balam for a great price! All the transportation taken care of. We wish we knew that when we booked our tour. Restaurant hours were not convenient. Very nice pool (looks much shallower than it is from far off). Recommended👍

Great clean rooms in a Mexican style. Saw no bugs.. hot water was good, food in restaurant was excellent, AC was very cold. 2 blocks from the square and 2 blocks from the ADO bus station. 1300 pesos per night. Recommend!

Absolutely loved this hotel. Friendly staff, great location, charming and well designed. We stayed at two different hotels in Valladolid and one in Merida and this was by far the best.

Yelp
We stayed for two nights in March, and it was not bad. Positives + The beds were comfortable by my expectations of rock hard beds in Mexico. + The water was HOT and the pressure was great. + Location was easy to access from the main street in town and walking distance to the town center and lots of cute parks. + Private lot parking was great to have. Negatives - When we arrived, they charged us an extra $10 per night for a second guest, and then put us in a room with 2 queen beds versus a king as requested. I'm not sure if they thought we weren't a couple or if they didn't have our originally requested room ready. We probably should have inquired about this more. - In our room, the two beds didn't fit the space. You could barely squeeze by one in the doorway, and the other blocked the door to get to the balcony. - We were in room 19 on the second floor and at the end, so we had no wifi in our room at all. - No filtered water in a dispenser was available in the lobby. I might stay again, but I'd definitely compare other similarly priced area hotels.

Yelp
Incredibly adorable budget friendly hotel 2 blocks from the main square in Valladolid. Room was fine, AC worked, wifi was good, and the breakfast on the rooftop was amazing. The decor and the pool in the center of the hotel got me, so perfect. Stay here if you find yourself in Valladolid!

Yelp
Very nice hotel with breakfast option on the roof, ac, pool and quiet. It is also close to one of the best restaurants, "Casa Italia" in the park, Candelaria.
