The food here is exceptional! By far the best tapas we have ever eaten, and we have been to a lot of restaurants, especially in Seville! There was not one bad thing about this place, the service was perfect, setting was excellent! Highly recommend the pork cheeks, just melts in your mouth!

Excellent food but slow service. As soon as we arrived for our reservation menus were put down and then we didn’t see staff again for another half hour. When the waitress finally came over, by which we point we had decided on our choices, we were told there was no paella, which then restricted a whole section on the paella. It would have been helpful to have been told this on arrival. The serving staff were nice, it unfortunately just put a long delay on us getting started. Loved the food though when it arrived

This restaurant was recommended in a local guide. We arrived early and without a reservation but got a table near the window. They specialise in local Spanish dishes and always have fresh seafood on the menu. We had squid and a local white fish, which were excellent. There is a very good, inexpensive wine list. The service was very good. I highly recommend eating here.

The restaurant is Michelin 2021. Definitely worth a visit when in Sevilla. Book in advance as it’s always full. Tuna taco is delicious and the fresh rockfish grilled is also great. Very affordable for a Michelin restaurant (40€ incl. white wine glass).

Nothing worse than a Michelin rated (2021) restaurant that leaves you disappointed and wondering why you spent so much money on food when you had a much superior food quality experience at the tapas bar down the street the night before for 1/2 the cost. The venue atheistic is super pleasing and welcoming. I love when you can see the chef cooking while you dine. I chose the tuna taco: the tuna was well marinated but didn’t help hide that overly fishy taste that signifies it could have been more fresh, the guacamole was fine and the taco shell well made. My husband had the spicy steak tartar which he didn’t care for, but it was the winner of the meal for me. It was well seasoned, well spiced and the bread crunchy/buttery which paired well with the tartar. The gamba al ajillo was far from enjoyable: it was suppose to come with papa purée which ended up being completely lost in the dish at it swam in the oil, you couldn’t even pick up a spoons worth of the purée! The gamba was tender but again didn’t taste as fresh as I expect from a Michelin star venue. Sadly to top it off it was soooo salty; I couldn’t finish it. The waiter asked why I didn’t finish my plate when he came to clear and I said “for ME there was too much salt.” I did NOT send it back complaining. Apparently he told the chef and came back just to tell me it must have been the garlic, whatever that was suppose to resolve. My husband is not a heavy seafood eater, so he ordered the mini burger which the waiter unprofessionally handed him and said “here’s your happy meal.” Joke or not it rubbed us the wrong way given that we had not struck up that type of friendly-conversation with our waiter. I ordered the rice pudding cheese cake for dessert, presented beautifully, cheese cake was slightly frozen in the bottom center part of the dish. The rice pudding was great though; should be it’s own dessert option. Overall I would not go back. This was more presentation focused than quality. The pics I took are great, but the food did not correspond.

We ordered the tuna taco with guacamole in a hard taco shell. It was served on an unique taco holder that kept the taco warm. Order your own taco because you won't want to share with your significant other. We also enjoyed the rabbit ribs with garlic fries and swordfish served on bed of mash and garnished with sauteed onions. For dessert, we had the best lava chocolate cake dessert that we've had the privilege to devour. The molten chocolate had perfect consistency and temperature. There was vanilla ice cream beside it, along with a number of additional surprises that pairs so well with chocolate. You won't get tired of this dessert even at the very end. We were very happy with our experience at La Azotea and would definitely come back to try more of their menu.

I was passing by the restaurant and it was fully booked so I reserved a table for the next day , after I was going home and checking the reviews and the menu, and I thought ok only 4,1 and the reviews were either excellent or bad so I was skeptical but I told myself doesn’t matter I will give it a try …. The steak Tatar is amazing like nothing to add the brioche and the Tatar on top is just fabulous! And for my main course I had the pig roasted on sweet potatoes! The pig was also magnificent taste was a 9,5 only the size was a little bit to small for 18 euros but overall I give this restaurant a 4,6
