Google
It's a nice place with French food. The baguettes are really good and I'd assume that most folks will like the food. I personally don't eat a lot of French food, so I felt that the items I got were too cheesy for me, but could still tell that it was very tasty.

Come here almost every other week. For one thing only it is the croissants! The almonds, chocolate, and butter croissants are my favorite. I usually ask them to warm them up for me and I take them to go. The staff are always so sweet and nice. This will always be a go to spot for me and my family!

Google
My favorite lunch-for-1 spot, with a bowl of French onion soup, a crusty baguette sandwich and a glass of wine. Their sweets are amazing! Pick any, you can't go wrong! They have quiche, omelets, ravioli, and a board full of seasonal specials. Almost every plate comes with fresh, seasonal fruit.

Google
Overall Rating: 5.00. Delectable French sandwiches, pastries, desserts, breads, cookies, etc. Turkey & Cheese Croissant, Almond Croissant 🥐& French Onion Soup so tasty. Highly recommend the Cheesecake Fruit Tart—best I’ve ever tasted. Seating inside/outside with table service & pet friendly. Centrally located in Old Colorado City by eclectic shops & eateries. Clean bathrooms. Support locally opened businesses.

Google
Very good place if in the mood for some French cuisine. It is a self seating establishment. Walk up to their amazing menu, order, and take your number. They will bring you your order. Friendly staff and I would easily go back. Ordered the Escargot and a French onion soup. My wife ordered the butternut squash ravioli. Easy 5 stars

Google
Stopped in for lunch. Was most spacious inside that anticipated. The staff was helpful in selecting an entree. We had a selection of tortellini, a salad, French onion soup, and a baguette. The tortellini were good, but the real show stopper was the French onion soup — it was delish!! We bought about 5 desserts and split them amongst the table. The real deal was the Apple Tart. All were good, but I wish I could have taken home the whole apple tart. Would visit again!

Google
Way too over priced for portions that are rely on bread to fill you up. I got a croissant tuna sandwich and it felt like there was half a can of tuna used to make it, also the bread was not even fresh or warm 13 dollars for a tuna sandwich of that degree was a spit in the face for anyone wanting a half decent sandwich. Additionally there pastries have decreased in size significantly over recent years. I absolutely don’t recommend this place whatsoever if you want a meal that will give you a satisfactory amount of protein, this place has fallen off.

Google
Stumbled upon this place while exploring Old Colorado City. Absolutely delicious French breakfast served here. I had the scrambled egg with ham and Swiss on a croissant. It came with a side of fruit (grapes and cantaloupe). I highly recommend this pastry if you’re looking for a delicious filling breakfast. This place has self seating and you order at the counter when you first come in. You’ll get a number to take to your table and they will bring your food to you. Service was super friendly and fast. Great breakfast restaurant in the cute little town of Old Colorado City.

Yelp
Randomly walked into this spot while shopping since it seemed to be buzzing. Had the delicious French onion soup, baguette, and chocolate mousse. Everything in the bakery case looked amazing and the menu has many traditional French cafe offerings in a cozy, casual environment. Service was fast and pleasant.

Yelp
I saw the reviews and my friend recommended we go there since she had a good experience her first time but both of us agreed the food wasn't that good. She ordered the chai latte which was ok but my mocha latte just tasted like chocolate syrup and was a little tart. I ordered the combo and the chicken soup was good but my ham and Swiss croissant was cold, like something I would get at an airport fast pickup food counter. My friends spinach omelette was also very bland. The side cantaloupe was somewhat frozen. The bread that came with it was rock hard. Prices and service was ok but the food was just ok and not worth going.

Yelp
The smell of PineSol was overwhelming in the restaurant and gave us a slight headache, it also affects the enjoyment of the flavors. :/

Yelp
Food was decent, but sandwich was fairly plain. Croissant was fine, and chocolate eclair was good, but nothing stood out.

Yelp
Nice location with outdoor seating that was more pleasant than the interior during a busy lunch time, as the interior was loud and cramped. While waiting to order at the counter, I could see the soup was popular, so I decided to try the soup / sandwich combo. I was not disappointed with the French Onion Soup - this was tasty and comforting and hit the spot. The sandwich, on the other hand...while large for a combo lunch, I expected better bread from a place named La Baguette. The baguette was dry, airy, and slightly stale white bread. It desperately needed a condiment or to be warmed up. The chicken salad was pretty good, with a strong herb flavor - heavy on the tarragon, which I liked, but it was overpowering for my kids. And, unfortunately, it was on the same dry, slightly stale bread. Still, I think they have enough options on the menu that you can find a nice lunch here...especially if you stick to the French Onion Soup!

Yelp
Lovely and cute little French cafe. It has patio seating and indoor seating. $12 for this cross isn't sandwich that was delicious.

Yelp
Fantastic food and friendly service! Nice ambiance with local art for sale. Everything appears to be homemade and is always tasty. The chocolate croissant is to die for! The cream cheese croissants are just as good too! The French soup is savory and flavorful and the omelets are always cooked perfectly. Here with you. Highly recommend! It's quickly becoming our favorite place in the Springs!

Yelp
Let down with the chia latte drink i ordered, see picture, it was 50% foam. Other than that, The bakery is small but delicious tho.

Yelp
This was unacceptable. Rock hard bread, a dirty fork, and soggy Quiche for $15. I was too irritated to ask for my money back. It reminded me of jail food. It was triggering.

Yelp
We were visiting from out of town and we had just come from the Garden of the Gods...it was cold and we wanted soup. This popped up on my yelp so we decided to try it out. It's located in an old town street with lots of shops and places to eat. It's a small cafe but there are several tables inside. You order and then they bring the food to you. The ladies there were very nice and helpful. We ordered the french onion, beef stew, sandwich with the onion dip and buttered pasta for our toddler. Everything was good! Recommend the beef stew and the roast beef with the onion dip. Savory and not too salty. They did have pastry but nothing stood out to me. Stop by for lunch if you'd nearby!

Yelp
Old colorado city was packed on labor day so this was our 3rd stop trying to get food without a long wait. You order at the counter then they bring the food to you. We waited about 20 min after ordering to receive our food--other people that ordered after us got their food before we did. I got the mushroom baguette special and it was great and a massive serving. They have a lot of good looking pastries but were out of about 1/2 of them around lunch time.

Yelp
Sandwiches were ok. There were a lot of flies in the restaurant, which didn't make the experience all that great.
google avatar

Silvia G.

Yelp
Cute little cafe! Love the selection of croissants. I ordered the spinach and ricotta omelette and blueberry croissant. The filling of the croissant was lightly sweet, and full of delicious little blueberries. The croissant itself was soft with a gentle crunch of the crust. The omelette was stuffed with cheese and spinach filling and was tasty and large enough to have half of it for lunch later that day. Cute place. My only complaint was I paid $3 for a tiny glass of OJ lol

Yelp
New rule: If it's -3 degrees out and snowing but there is a line at the restaurant and limited seating available, it's probably a great place to eat. Everything here is great, but they're known for their French onion soup and baguettes.
google avatar

Yelp
La Baguette - Noi Noi Noi! My French way of saying NOPE. This bakery came highly recommended when visiting CO Springs, so we were very disappointed. The Croissants and Baguettes were dry and way too bready tasting. The tiramisu was dry as well. Overall, the pastries tasted a few days old. It was like something an airlines might give you on an international flight to France. Not bad...not the best, It was just food.
google avatar

Kim H.

Yelp
Very disappointed. Used to come here years ago and just couldn't wait to come back. The bread was rock hard for both meals and our order was wrong, we were the only ones there. Just wasn't the same quality
google avatar

Yelp
This was great! Went about 12:30pm on a Sunday and the inside tables were packed but easy to order at the counter. It's super cute! I love this booth tucked into the corner. The small eclair was packed with flavor. Super tasty! The apple croissant is AMAZING!!!!!!! I took it with my up to Pike's Peak and ate it overlooking the mountains. The flavor matched the might of the sight. I'd love to come back and try the breakfast.

Yelp
We were visiting and we stop by la baguette , Food is super delicious, bread too, the service is great , food came out quick , ambiance is good , we eat here 3 days we pretty much try el almost everything on the menu and didn't disappoint, I recommend this place if you're in old Colorado Springs.

Yelp
All is so fresh and tasty! The breakfast croissant is delicious, the spinach salad was more than decent and the latte was too well made. service is genuine and location is very convenient.

Yelp
I adore this place. I love the French onion soup and the desserts. I tell anyone who comes to town to try it.
google avatar

Malia C.

Yelp
Stopped here hoping we could find crepes , they do not offer them, so we got a few croissant sandwiches, the chocolate croissant and apple croissant. The service was good though and the people were friendly! It's a cute little shop!

Yelp
I stopped in here multiple times on our short visit to Colorado Springs. Great atmosphere, both inside and on the patio. Their food is so delicious from salads to decadent desserts and every in between! The staff is all so nice and they offer quick service. I can't wait to go back to Colorado Springs to eat here again!

Yelp
Excellent French onion soup, this is definitely the place for it. It's a cold day and it hit the spot.
google avatar

Jeralin S.

Yelp
Everything was delicious. The first day I had a chicken salad sandwich on white bread and a corn chowder soup which was uuuuhhhh-mazing! My hubby had hot roast beef baguette sandwich with fruit, and for dessert we had the opera cake and a chocolate cork, both delicious. We took home the chocolate mousse, it was so chocolatey and soft and delicious! The next day we came back early for their pastries since they were all out the previous day. We probably had too many pastries but it's ok, it's once in a while that we get to enjoy these delicacies. Hubby wants me to mention that the coffee was hot and very well made. can't wait to be back!

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful food. But always understaffed. There are always long lines, often going out the door.
google avatar

Yelp
Nice bakery with good service and coffee. The croissants, while not really Parisian quality, are huge and tasty
google avatar

Yelp
Cute little bakery/cafe with friendly staff, but the food is just average. Was so looking forward to the French onion soup, but it was a disappointment and lacked a rich and savory beef broth base. Although the croissant on the turkey and cheese sandwich was light, flaky and delicious, the rest of the sandwich ingredients lacked any significant flavor and would have benefited from a mustard mayo or other similar spread. The Salad Nicoise, ordered by another member of my party, was well received and looked to be a better option. Didn't order one, but the desserts looked appetizing.

Yelp
Nice little cafe with delicious French-inspired food. I came here with a pretty large group of friends at 2 pm on a Friday and there was a short line until we ordered. We were able to put a few tables together, such that we can all be seated together. By the time we left an hour later, we were the only customers in the restaurant. I got the combo of the soup of the day (creamy mushroom soup) and a ham, turkey, and swiss baguette sandwich. The soup was excellent. Very creamy and smooth. The mushrooms were yummy. The sandwich, on the other hand, was a bit bland and dry. It a way as cool that the dish was served with a slice of melon on the side, which was great to end the meal with a sweet note. On our way out, my girlfriend and I got a small eclair to go that we shared later in the afternoon. It was very delicious and I wish we got one each. Definitely worth stopping by even if just for a pastry.

Yelp
Great bakery in Old Colorado City! Such a cute town with an event cuter French bakery. We tried the cream cheese croissant and the eclair and both were wonderful! The cream cheese croissant was stuffed with cream cheese and was so flaky and delicious. Best cream cheese croissant I've had. And the eclair was also stuffed with cream and was so good. The cream cheese croissant was my favorite though and I absolutely recommend it. The inside is pretty spacious so we found a place to sit even though it was crowded. Highly recommend this bakery!

Yelp
French onion soup was spectacular. Butter croissant was delicious. If I lived in the area I would return.
google avatar

Christina K.

Yelp
Disappointing to say the least, I'm not a big eater but this portion takes the cake Child portion at a adults cost. We live here locally and it's unfortunate the owners skimp on the tourist season here in the summer.

Yelp
My new favorite spot in the springs! I only enjoyed a pastry & took some bread to go on this trip, but I can't wait to visit again for lunch or breakfast! I mean this when I say this was hands down the best pastry I've ever had!! Also - grab a raspberry ice tea when you're there, you won't regret it!

Sheila F.

Yelp
Absolutely love the food. Owner and staff are very friendly and everything is delicious. Croissants, bread, French onion soup and the breakfast omelette sandwich are my favorites. Very charming dining experience.

Yelp
A fabulous find. Delicious pastries and coffee, wonderful meals. We really enjoyed the French Onion Soup.

Tatianna O.

Yelp
Used to come here often for a mid-downtown shopping snack because I knew I could always count on the quality of the food and service, but at my last visit, I was let down. I ordered a spinach ricotta omelette and a cheese filled crossiant. The crossiant was fairly good, but the omelette was inedible. The eggs were undercooked and from a carton and the spinach was sopping wet from a can. The whole thing fell together into a wet mess. Frankly, I'm very hesitant to go back.
google avatar

Desma C.

Yelp
Great food, they are nice and it's a cute spot. Loss of star because they forgot cheese on my sando one day and my OJ on another visit. But food is delish!
google avatar

Lori B.

Yelp
During our visit, we ate lunch one day and then came back another day for dessert. My husband and I both had a hot roast beef sandwich that was absolutely yummy and super fresh. My daughter had their tortellini and raves about it. My son choose a ham & Swiss croissant sandwich and completely enjoyed it. When we came back we enjoyed cheesecake, chocolate cake and an apple Croissant. Everything is fresh and delicious!

Shante P.

Yelp
French onion soup lived up to its reputation. A really nice place to meet up with an old friend for lunch and catch up. Casual, comfortable dining as you place your order at the counter and they bring it to your table.
google avatar

Denise M.

Yelp
Located in Old Colorado City. Love coming here for the French Onion Soup. I usually get a few croissants to go which actually freeze pretty well. I have always had great customer service. You order and pay at the counter and they bring your food out to you. Make sure you get a reward card.
google avatar

Harper W.

Yelp
I would die for this French onion soup. It's the best in town for sure. We shared the soup, a cream cheese croissant, a chocolate croissant, and a ham and green onion quiche. The croissants were also phenomenal. Still waiting to get our quiche, but I'm thinking it will be delicious. I got a plain cup of coffee and it was great as well. The service also was great! We had a sweet boy take our order! I would highly recommend stopping by to get a quicker breakfast or lunch!

Isabelle N.

Yelp
I have been here a few times now with my family. The service is lackluster. Their pastries are good somewhat stale/ overbaked feeling a few times but pretty good. Their French onion soup is nothing to rave about and I didn't really like it. The fondue is where the 2 stars comes from. I tried it today and it is clumpy and gritty. Gross.
google avatar

Monika B.

Yelp
This place has always been a favorite. Ever since my childhood. I looooooove their French onion soup, but! I was there for my anniversary breakfast. A delicious, cozy, perfect breakfast. I have so many memories at this location that it's astounding that I never reviewed them. Everything here is delicious. Their lattes, croissants, even just a cheese plate. Absolutely a must!
google avatar

Chris H.

Yelp
Place is over rated, the portion size versus price is out of whack. Don't order the roast beef on the special menu, not satisfying at all. $12 for a $3 looking sandwich a slice of fruit.
google avatar

Jennifer J.

Yelp
We stopped here on our way to Breckenridge to pick up a snack for down the road. I'm personally a purveyor of Almond Croissants but they were unfortunately out. I ended up getting the Apple Pie Croissant and my husband chose the Cinnamon Raisin Croissant. After a quick warming in the oven when we reached our destination we got ready to chow down. My Apple Pie Croissant was crisp with a hint of filling. Unfortunately we think that the Cinnamon Raisin Croissant was overly crisp. It's massive and took us a few days to finally finish, and it's crispness did hold well, but perhaps there was too much caramelization of the crust to begin with? I'd really have to try a few more baked goods to more accurately judge the croissant quality. In short, I'd say that La Baguette is a reasonably priced and decent quality bakery.
google avatar

Tracey B.

Yelp
Just devine french onion soup! It is hard to find a good french onion soup, and this place has it. Really cute atmosphere and seating areas, yummy looking sweet treats (I did not partake), and service is friendly and quick.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this bakery I love their almond friand They are always busy but the employees are always pleasant

Josette D.

Yelp
Food was anything' but French. One piece of nondescript white cheese on top of another thin slice of ham then covered by a nondescript piece of white bread and voilà that's your French baguette sandwich!. So disappointed and ashamed for the owner of this sandwich place that calls itself a "  french sandwicherie "...if we could give this place a zero I would.

Teresa B.

Yelp
Raisin Pecan Bread is to die for. I have had a few other pastries and they were so so, but this bread is at another level toasted with butter.

Gayle M.

Yelp
This used to be my all time favorite French Onion Soup. Every time I come to Colorado Springs I would make it a point to visit. The last time I came I thought maybe it was just a bad batch, but tonight when I returned the soup wasn't even edible. The girl at the counter was extremely rude also.
