The 7 Best Hostels in Seville (Updated 2025)

"I loved the lively, social atmosphere — every night there are family-style dinners on the rooftop with views of Seville’s cathedral and a nightly happy hour beforehand. All rooms have Wi‑Fi, private bathrooms, and air conditioning; the wooden dorm beds have thick mattresses, privacy curtains, and lockers underneath, so you can get a decent night’s sleep. There’s an in-house cocktail bar where you can sip local sherry, vermouth, and beer, plus game nights, DJ shows, and flea-market tours that make it easy to meet people." - Matthew Kepnes

Quiet street, close to everything walking distance to/from the Airport bus. The co-working dorm was great, it’s right next door to the main hostel and has its own little rooftop. Stayed one night on a layover, loved the Flamenco music on the roof and the group dinner (9 EUR). Staff were super lovely and very helpful. Everyone there was a mix of 20’s-40’s, it was a nice blend. Super clean, co-working dorm (floor 2), had a nice washroom that was kept super clean the whole time and separate working space. I paid 33 EUR for the night and it was totally worth it.

Definitely one of the better hostels I've stayed at. The rooms were great (4 person mixed with bathroom) and location is central to major tourist attractions. Less than a 5 minute walk to the Alcazar and Cathedral! Special shout-out to Nico the bartender. Super friendly and made sure everyone had a good time.

I left a piece of my heart in this hostel🩷 everyone (Francesca, Nico, Pablo, Andres, Quique and all the others) made me feel welcomed, safe and at home. The nights on the rooftop are just perfect to enjoy authentic vibes and to share moments with other travelers. Everything was clean and organized. Loved it every second and hoping to be back soon!!!

Amazing reception staff. Very central location. The rooftop bar is awesome with great views of the cathedral. The dinner is so worth it, the night we participated they made paella and it was authentic and a good serving. They cultivate a fun environment with the dinner and pub crawl. Room was solid… the lockers didn’t feel the most secure since they can kinda be accessed even when locked. The hot water in the shower was also inconsistent. I would definitely come back though despite those nitpicks.

Definitely a 10/10!! La Banda is an awesome hostel well located close to the river and next to the city centre. The stuff is super friendly and made me feel like being part of a big family. Rooftop is awesome and with a free sangria and pub crawl you will have lots of fun! It was super easy to connect to other travelers. Moreover the hostel is save and very clean. Kitchen is very good. I highly recommend this hostel for your stay in Sevilla!

La Banda Rooftop Hostel is ideally situated in the historic centre of Seville, about 5 minutes stroll from both the airport bus stop [Torre Del Oro/P.º de Cristóbal Colón]||and the Cathedral. I was in the city to experience the awesome and enthralling celebration of Semana Santa. Upon arrival I was greeted by the friendly Liza, who completed the check-in process quickly and efficiently. She provided lots of useful information relating to the hostel and the city. I was in a mixed four-bed dorm with a co-working space and shared bathroom. Bedding and towels are included in the price. Everything about the accommodation/workspace/bathroom were of a very high standard. Each guest is provided with a spacious locker in which to safely store personal possessions. The hostel provides a delicious complimentary breakfast, enjoyed at large communal tables and consisting of cereals, toast, juice, fruit, coffee/tea etc. There is a very wide range of daily activities on offer, including a communal evening meal for €9. The rooftop bar/terrace [with spectacular views to the Cathedral] is a great social space in which to meet fellow travellers from around the world. An excellent hostel in a fab location. Unreservedly recommended.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Yeah, the rooms and amenities were great, but what really elevated my experience, were the staff members there. WOW!! Amazing people to talk to and hang out with. Definetly would stay there again if I came back. Thank you Paolo, Nico and others! The video is from a live performance, that the hostel staff organized for us. Just wonderful.

I really cannot praise this Hostel enough, for my first time solo travelling and visiting Spain this was absolutely ideal. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the price is more than reasonable and they do a great job at cultivating a social atmosphere in the Hostel so I had great company in the evenings. There is also a free breakfast and delicious meals in the evening for an extra €9. The location is also absolutely perfect for exploring Sevilla by foot. If you are thinking of solo travelling in Sevilla (or with anyone else) do not look further than this place!
