The 7 Best Hostels in Seville (Updated 2025)

"I loved the lively, social atmosphere — every night there are family-style dinners on the rooftop with views of Seville’s cathedral and a nightly happy hour beforehand. All rooms have Wi‑Fi, private bathrooms, and air conditioning; the wooden dorm beds have thick mattresses, privacy curtains, and lockers underneath, so you can get a decent night’s sleep. There’s an in-house cocktail bar where you can sip local sherry, vermouth, and beer, plus game nights, DJ shows, and flea-market tours that make it easy to meet people." - Matthew Kepnes

Excellent location to stay for your first time in Sevilla. I feel I could walk everywhere and felt super safe. During the weekend, the city was crowded and the street noise got into the room very late at night but if you like to sleep in, it is possible to do so as the city doesn’t wake up early either. The people at the front desk were so hospitable, warm and went above and beyond to accommodate any of my needs. I will definitely return to the city and stay here!

Hands down the best hostel I stayed at in Spain. The staff were friendly, energetic and consistently helpful. They join the pub crawl and create a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. There are daily events, including a €9 family dinner and activities like the pub crawls and live music night on Sunday (big recommendation!). I stayed in a 4-bed female dorm that was spacious, clean and comfortable, with extra seating and a private bathroom. The mattress was good and everything felt well-maintained. Entry is via door codes which worked smoothly. The hostel is really social, but there are also quieter areas to relax, including a rooftop in a separate building. They also offer coworking rooms which is a nice bonus if you need to work. Overall I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it!

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at while backpacking. The spot is super clean, the staff are wonderful shoutout to Pablo you absolute beauty of a human being. Location is perfect for wandering around Seville. And it’s super social so you won’t have a hard time finding friends.

Quiet street, close to everything walking distance to/from the Airport bus. The co-working dorm was great, it’s right next door to the main hostel and has its own little rooftop. Stayed one night on a layover, loved the Flamenco music on the roof and the group dinner (9 EUR). Staff were super lovely and very helpful. Everyone there was a mix of 20’s-40’s, it was a nice blend. Super clean, co-working dorm (floor 2), had a nice washroom that was kept super clean the whole time and separate working space. I paid 33 EUR for the night and it was totally worth it.

Amazing hostel. The owners and managers have created a very welcoming vibe, with regular pub crawls and chances to make new friends. The meals are great and the location is also. Travelled here solo in early 2024 and left with a lifetime of memories.

Definitely one of the better hostels I've stayed at. The rooms were great (4 person mixed with bathroom) and location is central to major tourist attractions. Less than a 5 minute walk to the Alcazar and Cathedral! Special shout-out to Nico the bartender. Super friendly and made sure everyone had a good time.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Yeah, the rooms and amenities were great, but what really elevated my experience, were the staff members there. WOW!! Amazing people to talk to and hang out with. Definetly would stay there again if I came back. Thank you Paolo, Nico and others! The video is from a live performance, that the hostel staff organized for us. Just wonderful.

Google
Amazing reception staff. Very central location. The rooftop bar is awesome with great views of the cathedral. The dinner is so worth it, the night we participated they made paella and it was authentic and a good serving. They cultivate a fun environment with the dinner and pub crawl. Room was solid… the lockers didn’t feel the most secure since they can kinda be accessed even when locked. The hot water in the shower was also inconsistent. I would definitely come back though despite those nitpicks.

Yelp
Great hostel! Would recommend to anyone traveling to seville. I arrived at the hostel at 5 AM and was welcomed in and given a couch to sleep on until I could check in. The staff is super nice and they really take you under their wing to show you a good time. The owners were there during my stay and the staff, guests, owners and friends all went drank in the rooftop and then went out to see some authentic flamenco together. It was awesome. The rooftop has a bar and is great place to chill and meet people! Truly an awesome hostel.

Yelp
Hands down the best hostel in Sevilla. Amazing views on the rooftop with great booze and family dinners every night. More like joining the La Banda family on check in vs just another stay at a hostel (free drink on arrival too)

Yelp
This hostel is PERFECTLY located. Very close to the river, the cathedral, Alcazar, all the major destinations for people visiting Sevilla. The staff is incredible. Great people, extremely kind and easy-going. I wish I could stay longer to make better friends with them! The excursions the hostel organizes are great, as are the impromptu ones organized on the rooftop by people staying there! Best hostel I have ever stayed in.

Yelp
The most luxurious hostel I've ever stayed in. I've stayed in hostels around the world--Mexico, Brasil, Paris, London, Barcelona... this was by far the coziest, cleanest hostel. Highly recommend staying here instead of getting an AIRBNB or even a hotel unless you need the privacy. Amazing deal for the price. LOCATION was perfect. Only a few minutes walking from the main square. It honestly feels like I was staying at a hotel. Why? 1. Extremely clean 2. Spacious and cozy bed. Each bed has it's own nightlight and a curtain for privacy (and to shut out light). A huge plus since people come in at all hours of the night. You also have a tiny ledge to put your cell phone and any belongings you might want next to you at night. 3. Storage below your bed that you can lock to protect your belongings. 4. Towel included 5. Private restroom (this was large and again extremely clean). 6. Windows! This might not seem important but I usually feel extremely claustrophobic in hostels and it gets stuffy real fast. 3 euros for breakfast Tons of recommendations for local places to eat Free walking tour was EXCELLENT. SUPERB. Do it! Rooftop bar (I never went but it sounded fun....) Free drink at check in!

Yelp
I had an airbnb booked for a week in Seville but decided to move to a hostel to meet other travelers. I checked out three other hostels before choosing La Banda. The staff was really welcoming and it had an awesome vibe. The waking tours they offered were fantastic and the happy hours and dinners (which were DELICIOUS) on the rooftop are some of my favorite memories from Seville! If you are looking for a clean artsy hostel with a great staff and good communal areas to meet other travelers, La Banda is what you're looking for. Thanks for the memories!

Yelp
A great place to stay for anyone looking to experience all of what Seville has to offer. Affordable and delicious home-cooked dinners on the rooftop are a great change of pace from tapas. The employees are incredibly friendly and offer great suggestions so that you can enjoy a night out or fill a day with great sight seeing. Everyone was able to speak English and Spanish and the free city tour was offered in English as well.

Yelp
The most hospitable and fun hostel I have stayed in! I visited spain in mid December and stayed at 3 hostels. One in Malaga, one in Seville, and one in Barcelona. La Banda in Seville was definitely the best! The employees (English speaking) know the best restaurants, best sights and best tour guides. I gotta give a shout out to Medi, he is the best tour guide ever! One of the nights we went out to a small bar where live music (flemenco) and spontaneous dancing is common. Super authentic and genuine! You will meet young people from around the world! I stayed in the off season and no less than 8 countries were represented. Last but not least: breakfast and dinner every day!

Yelp
La Banda Rooftop hostel was by far the best hostel we stayed in during our trip to Spain! The four men who own the hostel was wonderful and super friendly. The nightly 6 euro dinners are perfect for bringing people together to prepare for a night out. I HIGHLY recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Seville! Plus, the location is ideal. Also, do the morning tour with Medi, he's great!
