La Baracca

The food is spotless and the place is gorgeous. A good spot to visit during spring and enjoy their patio for sure. I would definitely return, however the timing is very important. Despite their closing time (10PM) I felt like me and my partner were not welcomed because of the time of our reservation. The first waitress was a sweet heart and patient, but the second waitress made clear to my table that time was ticking and made me feel like a burden. Also, for my vegetarian friends. There are plenty options! So go for it ✌🏽💛 Again, I would return because of the food but at a earlier time.

Great food and service. Apps were so flavorful, presentation and taste profiles exactly or better than expected. Entrees were good., the wagyu steaks were ok. Not great. The lobster pasta was phenomenal. I take away one star for service because when the person that opened the second bottle of wine for some reason they poured and swirled the wine for me. Other than that it was great.

We came to La Baracca as a group of 7. We heard good things from friends, and the online reviews were amazing, so we decided to give them a try. The service was very nice. Our server was friendly and polite. The starters and the desserts were incredible. The pistachio lava cake in particular was one of the best desserts I've had. However, our mains were not very good. The pastas (all of them) were EXTREMELY salty — almost to the point of being inedible. Not sure if maybe they salted the water twice by accident, but all 3 pasta dishes we ordered tasted like ocean water. It could have just been an off night, as we've heard excellent things about this place. I will add – it was on the pricier side for sure. I’ve had much better Italian food for much less. We will have to come back and try again, but not for a while. What a shame. If you do visit, definitely get the pistachio lava cake.

Very nice Italian restaurant in Kleinburg. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. The service is high-end, and the server was very knowledgeable and helpful. When he understood that it was our anniversary he brought a very delicious dessert on the house. Also, when he noticed that I had not finished my Martin as it was too strong, he just didn't charge us for the drink. We ordered shrimp pasta, rabbit pasta, eggplant, and octopus. Everything was very delicious and courses were big , we even took some of it home. In the end, we had to try the famous pistachio lava cake that was, of course, amazing as well. Will definitely be back

For appetizers, I had the burrata with prosciutto, the fried calamari and shrimp, the crab cakes, the artichokes, and the meatballs—each one bursting with flavor and showcasing the highest quality ingredients. Every bite was perfection. For my main, I had the blue rib steak, and let me tell you—it was cooked to absolute perfection. Tender, juicy, and full of bold, rich flavor, this was a steak that could rival the best steakhouses. My son had the crab pasta, and the sauce was nothing short of incredible, with the pasta cooked to flawless al dente texture. And then, there’s the wine list—flawlessly curated to complement every dish on the menu. Whether you’re a casual wine drinker or a true connoisseur, there’s something here that will impress. If you haven’t been to La Baracca, you need to go. I challenge you to try it and tell me if you disagree. The only downside? You might not get a table without a reservation.

I loved this gem the food vibes and service were amazing I came on my birthday to celebrate with my close friends and the food drinks did not disappoint everything was delicious my fav was the chefs special ravioli and pistachio dessert definitely would come back

Tried for the first time last night. Both my wife and I were very positively impressed. Friendly and attentive service. Everything on the menu felt enticing... and then our waiter added 15 more options as specials: it was really hard to pick 😁 Amazing food, I was really impressed by the polipo! It's on the pricier side, but we knew going in. The main downside is that it gets loud when full and doesn't really allow for an intimate dine in experience. That being said, my wife and I will definitely go back.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at La Baracca. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated — cozy lighting, elegant table settings, and just the right background music to set the mood. The staff were attentive and genuinely friendly, making me feel welcomed right away. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations.
