La Baracca

We had a lovely dinner at La Baracca in Kleinburg. The menu focuses on traditional Italian dishes with a strong seasonal and seafood selection. The atmosphere is calm and perfect for a relaxed evening. We ordered: ✅Spinaci e Zucca – fresh and well balanced, very nice as a starter. ✅Acciughe Marinate – salty, but the fish itself is fresh. Best eaten with bread. ✅Mezzi Paccheri Astice – excellent lobster pasta. Rich, not greasy, and full of real lobster flavour. ✅Baccalà Mantecato – a classic Northern Italian dish. Very smooth, light and comforting. Overall, great quality and very good value for the price. Highly recommended if you are visiting Kleinburg.

It was me, my wife and my daughter to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary and I can say that there was no better place to celebrate it, the food was truly Michelin-starred. Try it to believe it because you can't understand the true taste from the photos. Thanks to all the staff at La Baracca, especially chef Fabio.

What a lovely spot! Food was delicious, very flavourful and service was great. We did wait for food for a while but the atmosphere was great.

A truly exceptional Italian dining experience 🇮🇹✨ Last night we enjoyed an unforgettable evening at a beautiful Italian restaurant that instantly transported us to Italy. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, elegant, and welcoming, with attentive service that made us feel genuinely cared for. The menu is thoughtfully curated, showcasing both creativity and respect for classic Italian cuisine. Every dish arrived beautifully presented and full of flavor. The pasta was cooked to perfection, the sauce rich and perfectly balanced — each bite reflecting high-quality ingredients and true culinary craftsmanship. We also ordered a fish dish that was simply perfect — fresh, delicate, and prepared with outstanding precision. Beyond the food, what truly stood out was the service: professional, gracious, and effortlessly attentive, creating a relaxed and memorable experience. This is definitely a place worth returning to — not only for the outstanding food, but for the wonderful atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer.

Very nice Italian restaurant in Kleinburg. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. The service is high-end, and the server was very knowledgeable and helpful. When he understood that it was our anniversary he brought a very delicious dessert on the house. Also, when he noticed that I had not finished my Martin as it was too strong, he just didn't charge us for the drink. We ordered shrimp pasta, rabbit pasta, eggplant, and octopus. Everything was very delicious and courses were big , we even took some of it home. In the end, we had to try the famous pistachio lava cake that was, of course, amazing as well. Will definitely be back

We came to La Baracca as a group of 7. We heard good things from friends, and the online reviews were amazing, so we decided to give them a try. The service was very nice. Our server was friendly and polite. The starters and the desserts were incredible. The pistachio lava cake in particular was one of the best desserts I've had. However, our mains were not very good. The pastas (all of them) were EXTREMELY salty — almost to the point of being inedible. Not sure if maybe they salted the water twice by accident, but all 3 pasta dishes we ordered tasted like ocean water. It could have just been an off night, as we've heard excellent things about this place. I will add – it was on the pricier side for sure. I’ve had much better Italian food for much less. We will have to come back and try again, but not for a while. What a shame. If you do visit, definitely get the pistachio lava cake.

The food is spotless and the place is gorgeous. A good spot to visit during spring and enjoy their patio for sure. I would definitely return, however the timing is very important. Despite their closing time (10PM) I felt like me and my partner were not welcomed because of the time of our reservation. The first waitress was a sweet heart and patient, but the second waitress made clear to my table that time was ticking and made me feel like a burden. Also, for my vegetarian friends. There are plenty options! So go for it ✌🏽💛 Again, I would return because of the food but at a earlier time.

The food here is exceptional, beautifully prepared, and full of authentic flavour. The atmosphere is elegant yet warm, making it perfect for a special night out. A special mention to the owner, Luigi, who is truly welcoming, attentive, and clearly passionate about delivering an unforgettable experience. Everything from start to finish was flawless. Highly recommended!
