Rating the batch brew- best in the area. He space is trendy and welcoming and has the vibe of A business I want to support. Can’t speak to their espresso drinks but looks like a nice place to come and work or have a little in person meeting.

Really yummy and great vibes. I ordered a raspberry matcha and it was delicious. It can sometimes be a bit busy. But you can find extra seating upstairs if needed:) ☕️🍵

☕ Review (take 2): This spot nails the essentials, seriously good coffee and a coconut coffee cake that could start a cult. Rich, moist, just the right amount of sweetness. But the noise level? Brutal. The crowd volume, is like trying to meditate in a jet engine. Great for grabbing a quick caffeine fix, not so much for lingering or holding a conversation.

It was pretty crowded, but that’s okay because it was prime time coffee time hour in the morning! No seats to sit at though. I got a vanilla iced latte and it was really good! They have a slayer coffee machine!!

The salmon sandwich was delicious but the coffee was the worse I’ve ever had. The chai latte tasted like air freshener spray, it was then replaced for an oat milk latte that you could barely taste any coffee, I ended up just dumping it in the sink and left. Very disappointed.

Hands down the best coffee I have had in Utah. I travel from Seattle to Salt Lake a few times a year and have tried many different paces to get a good cup of coffee. Nothing complicated, just a drip or pour over. This place has it. Great coffee, good environment. I’m looking forward to coming back here.

I can't tell you how many times people have recommended this place to meet up after work...sadly, they close at 4:00, so we have to pick another location. That aside, I was able to make it over recently during the day and found that it's a popular hangout-and for good reason. The coffee is great and the ambience is inviting. It's not the "hang out in the living room" vibe, but more of the open space, clubhouse hangout vibe. I observed two different groups sitting around large tables playing cards, multiple couples that were in deep conversation and several singletons with noise cancelling headphones plugging away at work on their laptops. There's a small patio outside and while dogs aren't allowed indoors, I saw a friendly golden retriever lazily sleeping under a table outside. It's a laid back place and I had half a mind to curl up with the good boi myself. Service is terrific-friendly, welcoming and quick. It's a place that I'd easily find myself frequenting, during the day, of course.

Came on a Saturday morning parking looked busy but when walking inside there was plenty of space to sit. The workers were friendly. I got a house coffee. It wasn't my favorite. I love their coffee but tasted kind of burnt or old I don't know. Maybe my taste buds for the day. I normally get a mocha but this house coffee sounded good. Their coffee cake was really good. My friend got a matcha latte and she said it was really good.

Solid coffee and nice ambiance. I popped in to grab a Mocha to go, but it seems like a cool place to hang out if you want to stay and enjoy your beverage. Everyone working was friendly. Ordering was a breeze and I didn't have to wait too long for my drink to be ready. The Mocha wasn't too sweet which is always a good sign. For the area, I would definitely say this is one of your better coffee options. I'll definitely come back to try a few other drinks.

Disgusting coffee flavor. Syrups Lacking flavor. The syrups have the sweetness but can't taste the Carmel flavor at all. Def pass on this shop I tried it so u don't have to! 15+ minutes for two drinks.... I would say a massive staffing issue happening. Used to love to come to this place but the service has definitely tapered down from being as good as it was before. Granted it was fairly full on a Friday morning but 1 barista to 20 plus customers can't be the answer.

I wish I could afford a $7 latte everyday because this would be my go to. Drinks here are SO good. Homemade syrups and it shows. Girls working behind the counter are always so friendly. Wish their point system wasn't through cash app, weird, and that they did specials every once in a while. Great place to meet a friend for a drink or get some work done. There's office spaces for rent too!

The best coffee I've ever had. The service is good and the dining room is clean, if a little noisy, but NONE OF THAT MATTERS because you literally can't get coffee this good anywhere else in a 50-mile radius. I dunno how they do it and I wish I did.

I love coming here to get some work done during the day or even for first dates. My go tos are the chai or matcha lattes. I also order the iced coffee from time to time. As far as their food, the avocado toast is amazing! It has olive oil, seaweed flakes and red pepper flakes on top (if I remember correctly). I also love their plain butter and jam toast. If you're feeling something sweeter the berry coffee cake is a good option. I do wish they offered an açaí bowl or a smoothie (healthy breakfast options), or even their breakfast tacos like they do downtown. I'm sure they would be popular menu items! Overall this a great coffee shop with modern, hipster vibes. My only complaint is they close early. Wish they were open later until 8 pm because I would definitely come here more.

La Barba is the perfect place to work remotely for an afternoon. It's clean, relatively quiet, and it's got more than just coffee to keep you energized and focused. Typically when I see a menu of only "Toasts" I'm left uninterested. But La Barba has become the exception. I tried the prosciutto and goat cheese toast and my coworker had the avocado toast. Both were simple but delicious. In the past I have loved the almond butter w/ blueberry. The salty + sweet combination is so good, any day of the week. La Barba's staff is always friendly and quick to get your order ready. You can't go wrong with a trip to La Barba coffee.

May be my favorite latte yet. They make their house syrups - the brown sugar/maple is SO GOOD. I love coming here

I absolutely adored my experience at La Barba Coffee in Draper. I accidentally stumbled across this gem and was so pleased! The space was open, clean and the perfect minimal bit beautiful space. The staff was pleasant and lively- upon entering, I was greeted and felt right at home. I arrived around 10AM on a Sunday. There was a constant flow of traffic throughout my time there. I was impressed by the flow and it felt very neighborhood cafe, I loved the local presence. I ordered a RedEye and a Prosciutto and Goat Cheese toast. The coffee was strong and the food was prepared quickly. It was simple and fresh, exactly what I needed to start my study session. They also had several conference rooms for rent, which I appreciate so much. It's very encouraging for any aspiring business owner. It definitely sparked many things in me during my study session. The bathrooms were well kept, clean and readily available. I adored my experience and have adopted the cafe into my routine. I hope to become a regular as I enjoy the sincere and genuineness of the cafe as a whole. The staff, service, quality of food and the overall ambience was lovely! A place I will continually visit.

There's one downside to this place, and it's that everyone else has now found it. I've been coming here since they opened. This i can say: the coffee is consistent. Like, I've never had a bad cup of coffee here. I have come here a lot. The ambiance is perfect. It's why it's so popular. It's the perfect levels and cool and still approachable. Their menu changes just enough that they have fun seasonal flavors, but you also have some classics to fall back on. Cute seating areas, which is perfect when you come in and see your ex on a date with another girl. You can just duck over to the seating area with the couches. He can't bother you there. Music is nice. It's lovely. Seriously. One issue. It's so popular now.

This coffee is BANGIN & high caffeine content The coffee shop is definitely a work space (you know the vibes, when there's a million tiny tables all lined up for parties of 1 to chug caffeine and clatter all over their MacBooks) Overall another gentrified coffee shop space. Urban warehouse look with a ton of plants. But hey, the coffee was excellent and I sat and listened to my audiobook for awhile while i people watched & judged strangers.

I love La Barba. It's straight up the only non-chain/cool coffee shop in Draper. Very nice to finally have a chill spot to meet with friends. I'm not in love with the coffee. It's a little too acidic for me, but that's probably because I have had covid a couple times. Everyone else seems to really love it and I really wish I did too. The chai tea is my go to here and is paired well with the oatmeal. If you get the oatmeal know it comes loaded with goods and is even better if you ask for blueberries. They care about quality ingredients, and the milk is well sourced, so high five to them for that. They did an excellent job with the space. It is light, clean, sophisticated and urban. All in all I totally recommend this place and I think you'll be pleased with the overall experience too.

I was visiting Draper from California and I wasn't sure if I'd be able to find the kind of craft coffee I'm used to but this place exceeded my expectations. I tried a few of their iced lattes with house made syrups and I'll admit they were better than the ones I've had in California. Love this place!

The coffee smells and tastes burnt. The smoothies are good and some of the pastries. However the smoothies are over priced. It's a good place to meet with friends and chat.

My favorite latte, Always consistent. I love the staff, super friendly and atmosphere is great. I'm a regular and this is my go to place.

There is a very hipster vibe going on in this place. The food and drinks are not only instagrammable but actually taste pretty dang good too! I wish I was still in school just so I could take my laptop and work on assignments in the fun setting.

Hip, modern, spendy-trendy place with good coffee and decent pastries. It's a little industrial-vibe-restaurant-starter-kit for me, but was perfectly tasty. The Nutella toast was over the top sweet but balanced the coffee nicely. The berry coffee cake was cloying, just not my thing but seemed fine for those who like that sort of vibe. Looks like there is a shared workspace next door so convenient for that. Really there's not a thing wrong with the place, it's just not my thing.

Coffee is good-no complaints there. You do have to hang out with the cast of "Real Housewives of Draper" while you're waiting.

Summary: - La Barba's reputation precedes this place - Delicious pour-over coffee - Great selection of breakfast toasts I never thought I would ever be back in Utah to experience La Barba again. However, it looked like the stars aligned, and fate brought me here once again, this time to Draper. All within the same year! I was "forced" to come here to Draper from California, to take my ABEM certification exam. It was the only test date and location available that I could register for. Coming back to La Barba made it worth it though, not to mention the ability to use the free drink tickets that came with my online order of their coffee beans. Since my visit to the Gateway's location, the pandemic has evolved a bit. There was open indoor seating, though social distancing was enforced. Onto the Goods: Ethiopia Banko Gotiti pour-over - if you've read my review for the Gateway location, you'd know I'm crazy about this coffee. The tones of blueberry, honeydew, and grapefruit tickle those taste buds like none other. Being here, I bought another 12 oz bag of this coffee and used my previous drink ticket on the pour-over that I enjoyed. Lo and behold, buying a bag earns me ANOTHER drink ticket. How am I ever going to use it? hmm.. Avocado toast - toasted and topped with nori, sea salt, and drizzled with olive oil. An awesome way to start the day, particularly before my exam. I devoured the whole thing. Never did I think I would have the opportunity to experience La Barba again. Given my geography, this is likely my last time unless they expand to California. Though who knows what the future holds...

I love this place with the vibe, coffee and location. Great place to work for a few hours. The things that would make this a 5 star place is more outlets and LOWERING THE VOLUME on the music. It gets so loud with people trying to have conversations over the music and it would be so much more enjoyable if they'd just turn it down a few notches. Otherwise, great place!

Went there today (Sunday) around 11:30 a.m. for my first time. The line to order was long and slow. Menu isn't posted until you get up to order. The barista recommended an iced honey maple latte and the blackberry jam toast. I waited 15 minutes for the coffee and the another 15 minutes for the toast. Toast was delicious but the coffee was something you could make from home. The wait and prices are not worth it. Would never go back or recommend this place.

came here on a date a few weeks ago, and i loved it! the coffee was well made and service was fast, and the atmosphere was wonderful. lots of people there were doing work on their computers, but it wasn't too quiet to feel weird having a conversation.

Amazing little coffee shop in the heart of draper conveniently located just off Bangeter. They have ample free street parking. Inside is almost everything you could want/need in a coffee shop, plenty of group and single-seating, lots of natural light, beautiful plants and calming ambient music and lighting. The noise is light, and there's lot of power outlets so its great for working. The baristas were less than helpful in recommendations but made very good coffee. We ordered the 12oz hot chai with almond milk and the 12oz hot matcha with oats milk + SF vanilla. Both were SO GOOD. The chai was nice and spicy and light not too rich. The matcha was probably the best hot matcha I've ever had. Not too sweet, still can taste the matcha and very creamy. Perfect We also order the lemon poppyseed coffee cake which was amazing! Overall this is a great coffee shop to work or chill at.

What a little gem! Having moved to SLC this year I'd been frequenting Beans&Brews, I mean they're everywhere. Then a friend told me about La Barba and I haven't turned back. I've now had several flavors of beans, but stopped on Noche Oscura, it's my favorite and I have it every day. I've even used it as a gift idea I like it so much. I'm actually sipping some right now! I normally brew drip at home but when I am out on the go, say, on my way back from running/ biking in Corner Canyon it's hard not to stop by. The younger staff are always friendly, helpful and pleasant, and the shop itself has plenty of room. Yes, even during Covid there's quite a decent amount of lounge space and working tables. I'm never really there during peak hours but still I've never seen the lot 100% full. There is also another La Barba located close to downtown I've noted, but haven't visited. You can get the beans in a grocery store, often for a few bucks less, but don't you want the freshest you can get?! Yes. Yes you do. I'm not sure what the official policy is but I was given a free beverage card when I last purchased a bag, and I've also asked the staff to grind a bag for me that was a gift for someone who did not own a grinder. Support local!

Really cute place. I love their outdoor seating. Dogs are allowed outside. I had really high expectations for this cafe because of the good reviews but when my friends & I visited, we were disappointed by their drinks. Our drinks were pretty watered down. I ordered a matcha latte and all I could taste was the milk. The pastries were good, but a little pricey.

A burgeoning trend among bicyclists is to ride and stop for coffee. That being said, we make the rounds to a fair amount of coffee shops. We find that when available, stopping at a local coffee shop is preferable to the national branded retail coffee shop. La Barba Coffee located on the southeast corner of 138th S. and Sprague Lane in Draper, fell perfectly into our riding route. Gone are the days of sitting in a tightly packed coffeehouse. In the summer time they have indoor/outdoor seating that is amazing, comfortable, and has a European feel to it. The building design was contemporary and open. In fact, the front wall is a large garage door that opens up and the patio flows indoors to outdoors... Seamless! In our group we drank several different coffee drinks, Cold brew, Cortado and Americano. All of them were delicious. We also sampled a few of their sweet treats, carrot coconut crumb cake and the coffee cake. The cakes were fresh and we were pleased. This place was surprisingly hip, a terrific vibe for Draper Utah and as Arnold said "I'll be back". Salute!

Legit brew shop with co-working space for days. Well designed. Great coffee. I ordered an iced caramel latte, with oat milk and extra caramel sauce. Be sure to differentiate between syrup and sauce. Syrups tend to be the clear sugary stuff. I like the real deal caramel sauce. It's open seating with indoor/ outdoor open concept. Expansive, which is so important in the covid times. You may see a millennial sporting yeezy sneakers, shorts and a flannel jacket doing business while talking outside on the Apple airpods- like today. That's the vibe, and it's a good one. I will definitely come here for my coffee if ever in draper or if I need to work and want coffee.

The reason for my 3 stars is bc the building is really nice and the coffee quality for being in Utah it's good. The place is pretty hipster and those are their patrons. Now to the real stuff. I'm Cuban so I know my coffee I've been around the world twice I say this bc I've eaten all kind of foods and drink all kind of coffee and if u are gonna call a coffee Cortado it better be a Cortado and unfortunately IT'S NOT, can I please ask the owner to change the name? It's a pretty good kind of breve but it's not a cortado. It is a big deal to me since I got pretty excited when I saw u guys had a cortado which is a Cuban coffee I was like finally! But disappointment :'( I wish u the best of lucks your coffee shop it's really nice :)

My go to for good coffee near Utah County. It's really good coffee and worth the 20 minute drive versus the mediocrely choices I have in the Lehi area. Just not a fan of the random closings, and I don't usually check social media for updates. Arrived to "Sorry, we're closed" twice in the last few months.

Got an $8 avocado toast which had not even half an avocado on it. Seriously for $8??? That's laughable. Don't get their food items - complete rip off.

As others have stated, this is in an odd spot for a coffee shop. It's just south of the Harmons, but the shop itself is sort of all on its own in the area where it is situated. This makes it a little easy to miss, but parking was plentiful. The interior is big! So big there are parts that aren't even finished yet! I'm not sure what their plans are, maybe meeting rooms? Anyways, I like it. There are lovely dark wooden stairs as you walk through the front door, and a pretty little sitting area in that sort of foyer. Once inside the main dining area you'll find a fairly minimalist/industrial look with wood grain table tops, concrete floor, simple lights, and some fresh floral arrangements. There was only one barista there, and though it was a Sunday (around noon), they were consistently busy with customers walking in every few minutes. She was patient and did not rush me as I pondered over the menu. Because she was all on her lonesome it felt like it took a tad long to receive our order (you just go pick it up at the counter), but that was understandable. I ordered the chocolate and olive oil toast. It was more on the savory end of the spectrum, as the olive oil was the most noticeable flavor. It was fruity and verdant, and the chocolate, though very dark, was mild. I had a bite of the avocado toast, which was spread very generously with that beloved buttery fruit, and artistically sprinkled with squares of seaweed. Both toasts were VERY salty. Just shy of being inedible, which is really saying something because I love salt. I don't know if our barista was just feeling extra salty (hahahahaha), but in the future I'd simply request light salt, as otherwise both were tasty. I also tried a bit of the red smoothie (note, the "small" size really is quite small), which mostly tasted like berries, but it was not too sweet, and I enjoyed it. Other menu options include house made yogurt with various toppings (even a savory one!), several toasts, and pastries (only a few remained at noon). Besides coffee and all its varying forms, they offer tea, hot chocolate, and bottled products like kombucha, soda, and lemonade. They have wi-fi, though you'll need to request the password. It's out of the way for me, but if I'm in the area I would stop by again.

I love this place! They have much better coffee than the beans and brews down the street. My favorite thing here is the amazing avocado toast! I order it every time I go. My only issue is sometimes wait can be a bit too long (20+ minutes) it's happened on several occasions so maybe they need more staff but other than that I like it here.

I met a friend here for coffee/brunch and it was nice. I'd been to Seabird, which is located upstairs from the coffee shop, but it was my first time inside the coffee shop. I had an almond milk latte and avocado toast, my friend had a mocha latte. It was a busy spot, but still great for conversation and brunch.

I loved everything about my visit. Latte was delicious, avocado toast was the best I have ever had and the environment was clean, spacious and comfortable. I'll be back for sure!

I go to La Barba multiple times a month. I would give La Barba 5 stars, but I can't because their bathrooms are always disgusting and always seem like they haven't been cleaned in over a year. That's my only complaint.

Beautiful specialty coffee shop in the suburbs of Salt Lake City. The service was friendly. I grabbed a churro doughnut per recommendation, and I was not disappointed. I ordered a pour over from their new beans from Honduras (I believe). It was poured very skillfully and served in a beautiful thermos and a lovely mug. The coffee was a little too strong, giving the beans a more bitter taste than my preference. Overall great find during my trip to Utah.

The seasonal special was the perfect blend of granola and warm apples with yogurt as the base. This was a light breakfast with additional blueberry toast to savory the hunger cravings. Highly recommend this place and would suggest anything they have on the menu.

Woke. Cold, sterile, strange location. Nobody likes lavender and rose coffee. Not many menu options. No specials. They don't list their coffee flavors.

Coffee is great but expensive. And they don't offer different sizes of cups. I love their baked goods also!
