La Barracuda

Let me just say we have been to all of the fancy and popular restaurants in Tulum and this is by far the best and at a fraction of the cost. I had fried fish and shrimp my hubby had grilled fish tacos and coconut shrimp, and he agreed with me that this was the best meal that we had, it was delicious and fresh. So don't waste you time in the hotel zone restaurants. If you want to see the shows at the other restaurants just go and have a seat at the bar after you have dinner at La Barracuda.

Fantastic spot to be catered to on the beach. Staff was excellent and the food was FANTASTIC. We were stuck on Mango margaritas 🍹 and downed about 10 as a couple. Family friendly. There was $ miminum if you chose the beach side service. It included a cushioned setup with umbrella. I have included a pic of my family with the restaurant behind them. Very decorative and tranquil. The actual restaurant is a beautiful walk thru to the beach but you can certainly opt to stay in the restaurant without the minimum $ requirement. I believe it was a $58 U.S. for the beach. Not disappointed at all. There are a few vendors that walk the beach offering their goods but were respectful when you said "no thank you" or waived them off. Nice merchandise though. Necklaces, cover ups, coconut man, etc... If you have been to Cancun, you understand 😁. Great Spot.

You come here for the mexican food. Lots of sea food options. I loved the tostada the atun which was one of the best I had. Also one of the few places serving grilled fish fillet tacos (not battered and fried). Service is fast considering the average in tulum. The vibe is nothing special though

Great vibes with some good fresh seafood! Great service. Best part they show you the seafood before it’s cooked and you choose whichever you want to your liking! Great experience would definitely recommend you going if your in Tulum!

Very causal ceviche place filled with locals. Had a good experience, the place was full but service was nice and quick. The ceviche we ordered was cocktail which means it had ketchup, it was good and the seafood was fresh. However the octopus garlic tacos were amazing - must try. The prices are low. They take cash or credit cards.

Amazing! I got the ceviche mixto and it was very good, it had a lot of pulp and shrimp and the variety of sauces to add to it made it even better, I recommend the Jamaica sauce if you have a sweet tooth like me. My parter got the Pulpo a la Mexicana, and woooow, I highly recommend it, mostly if you like Pico de gallo. The margaritas were some of the best I had during my time here. I got passiofruit and it was really good for the price. Almost forgot, the guacamole was great! (I ate it too fast and forgot to take a picture)
