We stayed here one night while walking the Camino and very much enjoyed our stay. Our room on the top floor (accessed via an elevator for those with tired legs!), was clean, quiet and cozy. The room was quiet & spotless, linens are all ironed (where do you find that, these days??!!), beds were comfortable and the shower was fine. We especially loved the private balcony with a view of two ancient churches (complete with families of storks - so fun to watch!). Owner Fatima is lovely and works tirelessly to ensure that her guests are well cared for. The little bar offers snacks, drinks and food all day, which is important to pilgrims who don’t have energy to go for dinner at 8:00 pm when the restaurants open! There’s an excellent laundry very near to the hostal, the main square a short walk away, and the Camino goes right by the door. It doesn’t get any better!

Decided to break up the journey to Bilbao with a stop and stayed here. It's a lovely little hostel and was excellent value it's handy for town and has its own inexpensive cafe/bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we loved the decor and midnight the resident cat. We would not hesitate to stay again

Fatima recently bought, refurbished and runs the hotel. She is efficient, kind and very helpful.||The building feels like a historical property and has been modernised but keeping the charm and style of an old building in the decoration in the room. Modern elevator and bathrooms but a chic minimalist finish that complements the age of the building.||Code pad front door lock. Why doesn’t all the Camino hotels do this?||The bar on the ground floor also has tables on the street. ||Fatima does laundry although there is a pilgrim’s laundry across the street, which we used for rapid drying. ||The only fault I could spot is that I could clearly hear my friends laughing in the adjacent room through the walls, but other than that it was an ideal Camino hotel.

The room was tidy and clean, but a bit small, with a good size bathroom and a nice warm shower. The 2 women running it were very nice and kind. I did not try the restaurant but the salads looked good.

Made an overnight stop at the hostal while on a motorcycle tour in July '18 and was made very welcome. Mine host,Fatima, even moved tables and chairs to allow the bikes to be parked outside. Having little or no Spanish,we were relieved that Fatima spoke fluent English along with several other languages and was extreemly helpful.||The hostal has a rustic charm and was very clean and comfortable. It has a small bar and snacks can be provided. It has a good location and places of interest are nearby and leaflets are provided for travellers.Other bars and cafes are close by also.Reasonably priced and comfortable,I would highly recommend a stay here

I took a rest day while walking the Camino and stayed two nights in this hostal in Sahagún. Although my room was small and the bed quite narrow, everything, including the |ensuite bathroom, was very clean. My room faced the street; regardless, there was no noise after 10:00 pm. The hostal is located on a corner just outside of the old city. The Camino passes right by the hostal, and the municipal albergue is across the street, so the bar in the hostal does a brisk business. From the hostel, it’s a short walk to the old city with its historic churches and ruins. The main plaza with multiple stores and bars and restaurants is in the old city. There is also a grocery store a few blocks beyond the main plaza. In short, if you’re looking for a quiet hostal that’s convenient to everything, this is it.

Fatima is the lady who runs the place - she is most helpful and keeps a good, clean and efficient house. The rooms are bijou but space isn't that much of an issue. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Good beer, good tapas, fun place to be!

We got a beautiful room with two beds and a fresh toilet! It was close to the center and the staff were very nice! It was a place to out the bikes. I think it was worth the money (38 euro for a dubbleroom)
