Hotel is down a lane way, where no cars can access only motorcycles and bikes. Family suite is large and balcony opens over the lane way. The room was tidy but not entirely clean. Crumbs were found on the stained ottoman. Elderly guest or people with limited mobility should avoid this room type because the shower is over a high bath tub. Breakfast is limited but sufficient and changes daily. Including Pho & Pancakes on the specials board. Reception staff are friendly. They can also assist with currency exchange, and willing to match rates if you ask nicely. There is a funky smell in the hall way and guest garbage left in the hallway, that wasn't cleared until the next day.

We were very disappointed with our stay. The amenities were poor — the water heater was not working, the bidet was broken, and even the elevator was out of service. Our rooms were on the 6th and 7th floors, which made it extremely inconvenient. We also encountered rats, which is unacceptable for any accommodation. The staff, especially one male staff member, was not accommodating and did not show hospitality throughout our stay. The only positive thing about this place is the location. However, even that comes with a downside since cars cannot directly pick you up because the hotel is located inside an alleyway. Overall, this was not a comfortable or pleasant experience, and we would not recommend staying here.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter and had a wonderful experience. The location was unbeatable — right in the heart of the Old Quarter, within walking distance of cafés, street food stalls, and many famous attractions such as Hoan Kiem Lake and the Weekend Night Market. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Despite being in a busy area, it was surprisingly quiet at night. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bed was very cozy. Wi-Fi was fast and stable, which was great for both work and streaming. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They greeted us warmly every morning and provided great recommendations for local restaurants and tours. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of both local dishes and Western options. Overall, this hotel offered excellent value for the price. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi who wants to experience the charm and convenience of the Old Quarter.

10/10 Would recommend this hotel! The location is truly incredible and in the absolute heart of the Old Quarter, but tucked back on a small side street so it’s still quiet and peaceful. Great walkability to everything the area has to offer. Clean and comfortable rooms with nice amenities. The breakfast was great and the staff was so welcoming and helpful! Would definitely stay here here again.

Had an amazing stay here, the location was brilliant, right in the middle of the old quarter. room was clean, and spacious with a large bed. All the staff were welcoming ans very friendly, Eirian was extremely helpful and helped arrange a trip to Ninh Binh which was an amazing day! Would definately go back.

I really enjoyed my stay at this Old Quarter hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help with anything I needed. The room was clean and comfortable, and the price was surprisingly good for such a central location. Great value and warm service — I would definitely stay here again!

I booked a twin room for myself and my sister a few weeks before we arrived and emailed requesting 2 single beds. I had a response to say that this was all booked. The day before, we had a WhatsApp to say the room was no longer available and that we would have to share a bed for the first night. On arrival the guy on reception was helpful and showed is to our room. The hotel and room was much small than it looked online, but that is usual.We had no hot water and showered in luke warm water. The breakfast was very minimal, and we are not picky eaters. Second night, we were given a twin room. There were insects crawling through our door frame and the skirting boards and edges of room were very dirty. There was a cocroach in our bathroom which we caught under a cup. We did tell reception about the bugs (maybe bed bugs?) But there was no change the next day. Again no hot water for a shower in the morning. On leaving I told the reception about the cockroach and bugs again (it was still under the cup) they offered to pay our mini bar tab.....1 packet of crisps about 13p. I would suggest looking at trip advisor before booking a room in Hanoi.

The hotel is located conveniently in the Old Quarters. The front counter staffs are very helpful and friendly. They took special care of my mother-in-law who is in her late 70s. They also provided us with a lot of suggestions and helped us to make arrangement of the various tourist attractons. Excellent service provided!
