First off, apologies the the lovely staff at La Beaute for being so late in crafting this review. My wife and I were there in mid-April of this year, and had a lovely stay. While the rooms and breakfast were fine, what really made our stay special was the courtesy, professionalism and positive energy of the staff. While too many to mention, special shout out to Daniel who took us on a street food tour that was one of the best tours my wife and I have ever taken of anything. When one restaurant on the itinerary was unexpectedly closed, he had the signature dish delivered to our room the next morning! Also, my wife wanted to change rooms after our first night to a higher floor, and the front desk staff handled the change gracefully and immediately. The hotel is centrally located in the Old Quarter, and is an easy walk to any number of things you'd want to see, from the Water Puppet Theater to the lake. I'd opt for a room on a higher floor, but frankly, both our rooms were very good. Apologies to the staff whose names I did not write down, but if you are the owner and reading this, give them all a raise!!

We stayed for 4 nights and we found the location to be really convenient to fully explore the Old Quarter. The room was made up everyday, the shower had heating with strong water pressure providing a pleasant shower experience for a budget hotel. Two bottles of water was also provided daily. The receptionist, Dan, did a wonderful job building rapport with us and made us feel very welcomed. They also allowed us to store our luggages at the hotel after we checked out for many hours before our flight, free of charge! Another staff went out of his way to help us with our bags and escorted us to the area where it’d be easier for us to be picked up by our Grab booking. Didn’t catch a name but we’re very grateful. Overall experience 4/5.Negative points to mention:On the 1st day, housekeeping left unfinished trails of “evidence” that they’ve made up the room. For instance, they left the old trash bag on the floor after emptying the bin and replacing it with a new one. On the 2nd day, they replaced the pillows with new sheets but left the old ones on both sides of the nightstands. By the third day, we noticed the loo wasn’t cleaned at all

Overall our stay at the La Beaute De Hanoi was good, the price was right, the location great and the rooms were clean and adequate. There is food, great shopping and yummy coffee cafes just steps away. ||My Lee, their "cruse director" set up our airport pickup which was helpful since this was our first stop in Vietnam and dealing with airports transfers can be hectic. Its much more expensive than using Grab but since it was our first stop I was willing to pay more for a smooth transfer. ||The location of La Beaute is fantastic. While there are no amazing views from the rooms the hotel is located down a quaint side street which offers a bit of peace. It is very close to the center of action and difficult to get cabs directly there so to use Grab or to get on your tour bus you will need to go a few streets over; no issues just an FYI. ||Our room was on the "outside" of the hotel so we were able to hear the dance music late into the night but it was muted and did not cause any sleep disruptions. Another member of our party had a room on the back side of the hotel and had peace an quiet. Our AC units all worked and while they never got as cool as we would like we all slept just fine. Showers were good and the rooms were clean and neat.||Its a franken hotel, meaning the building was once two or three separate buildings that have been combined, but they have done it well and the shared spaces are all attractive and nice to spend time in, like the breakfast area. ||Breakfast was included with our stay and it was adequate, nothing to write home about but plenty to get you started for the day and everyone loved the fresh fruit and yogurt. ||The staff was helpful before we arrived and during our stay. I booked most of our activities on my own before we arrived but asked the hotel to book us a one day excursion and they made that process seamless. ||Of note, like many hotels in Vietnam I was unable to fully pay in advance so upon arrival we either needed to pay with credit and accept the steep service fee or spend the day seeking out multiple ATMs (good luck finding one that works) and pull out gangster levels of cash. We opted for the steep fee credit fee. |I would definitely stay here again.

The staff were friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet had a variety of hot and cold options are those still limited but it was plenty for us. It’s located just off the main road so it was nice and quiet during the night yet still close to the lake and other hotspots. They booked us the limousine bus to Ha Long :) I would definitely come back to this hotel.

We first stayed for 4 nights and then after Halong cruise return ed for 1 night before moving on|For our first stay I had booked a Junior Suite with balcony. |This room was ok. But has a very high bath to step in to shower and bath does not feel safe to stand in. Room itself was fine |Our second stay I had booked a Deluxe Double Room. This room was massive. No view but the room makes up for it. |It has a corner bath. Much lower and safer to use. This bathroom felt newer we actually preferred this room.|As for the staff. 10/10. Such a beautiful attentive team, who always great you with a beautiful welcoming smile and are always offering assistance.|LOCATION - you will not be sorry. It is down a small alley, but don't be put off. Walking distance to everywhere. Very central to eateries and sites. We would stay again

Location is located in a small street with no vehicles access, so you’d have to walk a bit from the main road. You also will not have any phone signal as the room is basically sandwiched between concretes, and the hotel wifi quality isn’t the best. The breakfast provided had small spread but was tasty overall. Staff spoke good english and was helpful. Room is quite small but it was fine for short stay.

This is a budget hotel which offers value for money stay with a good location. It is located in an alley, so not noisy at all. Shortfall : 1. their hotel lobby is very small; not a good place to stay and rest. 2. The alley is too narrow for a car to pass through, therefore car cannot pick up nor drop off directly in front of the hotel. .

The strength of this hotel is not the rooms, it's the staff. Right from the beginning they showed a commitment to customer service that they maintained the whole time we stayed. |For us, the most important thing was that when the airline cancelled our flight, resulting in panic, they immediately got on the phone with Vietnam Airlines, and helped us navigate our way into a solution that didn't leave us stranded. And when the airline contacted them to share further updates, they immediately let us know, even though we were out for the day.|So even though the room could have had a bit of a refresh, and maybe a little more attention to detail, we are incredibly glad we stayed here. If not for their help, we would have missed out on a whole portion of our holiday.
