One of the nice settings in town! Really beautiful court yard. Nice that it’s dog friendly too! Scrambled eggs were a bit heavy on the onion, but everything else was delicious ! Great coffee too, and quick service! Zero complaints!

Went for an early Sunday afternoon cake break after a nice morning walk by the Constantia greenbelt. The cakes were delicious, and the service was great. Lovely open field just outside the restaurant, overall great place for brunch with friends, or cute date spot.

I had lunch here on my own a couple of months ago and it was really lovely. Staff was so kind and accommodating. The venue is light and airy, I enjoyed the outdoor patio. I got the oysters, they were nice, also got a cocktail. I wasn’t in love with the cocktail, it was weak, but the wine I got later was decent. I ordered the pork belly, it was meant to have a crisp crust, and it didn’t at all, so I had to send it back. The manager came out to ask about it and he apologized, and then I got the salmon. The salmon was delicious. It was a nice lunch.

One of my favourite places in Cape Town and have visited many times over the years. Generally, the food has been good in the past but my family was very disappointed with the baked items on offer for afternoon tea. We arrived at 14:30 and most of the bakery items were finished. A very poor selection. Quite bizarre considering people usually want tea and cakes on a Sunday afternoon. There was one portion of scones left and we were told that they generally don't make too many scones because of fear of wastage. We were also advised that we should phone ahead of time in future and have cakes/scones set aside. The portions of all the baked items were small. The frangipane tart wasn't the best. Very sweet and very small slice. The scones were crumbly and fell apart and not the best flavour. Quite different to the experience a year ago, where we considered them one of the best when compared to other establishments in the area. The only carrot cake option was vegan and the apple crumble again, was more crumble than apple and very dry. Cream is offered as an optional extra for 'vegan' reasons?? The cheesecake was fair but there was confusion as to the 'flavours'. In all, not the best experience and some of the staff are a little on the rude side. The whole experience felt 'disorganized' and disappointing. I will return because of the love of the setting but definitely will think twice about going to La Belle for 'afternoon tea and cake'. I hope that the standards on the lunch and breakfast options, haven't dropped as well. It would be a real shame.

Absolutely delicious breakfast. Everything we ordered, we really enjoyed. Portions are a bit small. We loved it though and will be back.

My go to place with hubby. Excellent food, service and friendly staff. A must to try if you haven't before.

If patience is a virtue, then La Belle by Kove Collection must be a monastery. We came in for breakfast — not a tasting menu, just eggs, toast, and coffee. The restaurant wasn’t even busy, yet we waited 20 minutes to be noticed and another 45 minutes for food. By the time the eggs arrived, I’d aged enough to qualify for the senior discount. The coffee? Let’s just say it tasted like it was brewed by someone who once saw a coffee bean in a documentary. We left wondering if “La Belle” is French for overpriced disappointment. You could get a better (and faster) breakfast at a petrol station — and at least they’d smile while handing it to you.

What a lovely stop for lunch! We made an unexpected turn when we came round the mountain to Constantia. We decided to share and ordered the salmon fish cakes and chicken kebabs. Everything was super delicious! I wish I had had space for dessert, will just have to come back again for that. We did however enjoy the Affogato instead.
