Probably the best restaurant in Mazara! The seafood was absolutely outstanding — so fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The staff were very kind and attentive, and later the chef even came out to speak with us, which made the experience even more special. Truly great food and wonderful service. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Mazara!

Turned up at the end of the lunch time shift (2:30pm-ish) and Daniele was very accommodating for our meal. The service was excellent and the food was extraordinary. This was the best meal we had in Sicily by far, highly recommended.

I had a wonderful seafood lunch at La Bettola We started with their assorted seafood appetizer. We both had pasta: mine was the traditional Sicilian pasta, busiate, with shrimp & swordfish; she had a bucatini with shrimp & calamari. Everything was excellent! The interior of the restaurant is cozy and clubby plus they have a beautiful enclosed garden, as well. Service is top notch.

Lovely seafood restaurant. Went with my family and we had a lovely time. The service was great, especially compared to other restaurants in Mazara. Well done to the young gentleman waiter who served us dessert, very charming and came across well. We started with a cooked and raw seafood starter which was delicious. We also ordered some wine which was suggested to us by the sommelier, also nice. My only downfall is the amount of coriander on the Bettola pasta, it covered a bit too much of the seas food placoid for me. Overall great experience.

Unique experience of raw Mazara Red Shrimps and seafood Cuscus. Excellent dessert, home made cake with ricotta cheese, toasted almonds and chocolate. Worth visiting and returning.

Incredible! First thing happened after ordering water was that owner and the old chef came out of the kitchen to ask us what we would like to have for a dinner. I don’t think I’ve ever regretted more that we don’t speak italian. The chef was by his behavior the kindest person on the Earth. We just wanted to talk to him! We need to learn italian for next time… in the meantime he handed us over to his colleague who took very good care of us. Recommended great light sicilan white wine Grillo and brought very good Marsala at the end. Food was deliciosus. We had raw sea food as a starter and pasta and risotto as the main course, dolce by chef’s own recipe. Enjoyed all of it big times! Sea food based meals were so natural in the taste, letting stand out the flavour of the sea. Just great! The place was so elegant to me that I would feel svery inappropriate taking out my phone to take any picture (which I eould normally do). We just enjoyed the time here together with my wife.
