The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious and traditional.

We went to this restaurant about 12 years previously and enjoyed it then. On our way to Lyon airport we thought that we would give them another try and we were not disappointed. October and we were sitting outside under the vine covered gazebo, with the sun shining between the leaves. The staff were friendly and attentive coping well with a party of 20 people as well as the other tables. The food was well presented, starters of tuna and carp tartare and goat cheese creme brulee were both excellent and original. If you have a car and are in Lyon this restaurant is worth a visit, book before you go.

The Blue Bicycle is a movie set in the Dombe before being an exceptional table. Lionel welcomes you with simplicity. The menu is a neat summary of neighboring cuisines: Dombe, Bresse, Lyonnais, Dauphiné and even beyond. Around a Dauphinois gratin, fondant Rump steak, Andouillette Bobosse, Filets of Sole accompanied Marbled Duck Confit and Foie Gras with a Chèvre Crème Brûlée and sorbet with smoked ham.
