"La Bijouterie, Terreaux. Everybody enjoys La Bijouterie, and rightly so. 3 chefs both cook and serve a modern and precious asian cuisine. Dim sum combo at lunch, semi-grastronomic menu at night. All of them are presented in a warm and neat decor: old wooden floor, golden wallpaper and carefully chosen tableware. La Bijouterie is the french word for "Jewelry shop" and that makes sense."

One of the best culinary experiences I’ve had. A little gem, a little bijou. The deconstructed lemon tart with *tarragon* (!!!) was out of this world. But every savoury dish made us travel to new flavours and fusions.

This small bistro is one of the great examples showing how French chefs could integrate Chinese and Japanese ingredients and techniques into French cuisine! It has done a much better job than Yum T’cha at Paris. The small dishes sampling dim sum from Chinese cuisine are very tasty and appetising, successfully make use of rather special Asian seasoning. A great place to go for casual dining! Services and vibe are good too.

Delicious and modernised asian food at a hip district. The pricing was quite ok for lunch menu for a starter and main course. I added a desert just to try but actually it wasn't as good as it looked. I'd go there again. Reservation required.

My co-worker and I just ate here and it was amazing! We went to Paul Bocuse and PRaiRial, and we thought this experience was better. We got to sit at the counter and talk to the chefs and also watch them make all the food. The starter of tomatoes and basal kombucha was so good. The veal dish and the roasted jalapeño pepper was great as well! The three courses of dessert was well thought out and made me want more. In fact, I thought the dessert was much better than at Paul Bocuse. After we thought it was all done, we got some extra desserts! It was just the right amount of food, where at Paul Bocuse I wanted to stop eating midway to save room for others. In this case, I feel less and more thought out meals were more! I definitely recommend this as a must in Lyon.

Great restaurant, with excellent food in 7 courses, small portions but more than enough for me. Especially the desserts were little gems. Best secret was the bill, price / quality was exceptionally good! Also the 4 people working need a special positive for their attitude and friendliness.

Must try in Lyon. Especially if you are adventurous about food. You should book well advance to get there for dinner. These guys are doing magic in small kitchen. I rarely tried such inventive cuisine. There is only one option- testing menu and it is absolutely worth it. They have some really good natural wine in wine card.

Excellent fusion with Asian cuisine if you want to try something different in this gourmet city of Lyon. We tried all of their seven bijoux available on that day. Their rice with nori is a must. The pictures here can’t do it enough justice.

I rarely write reviews online because I have worked in the restaurant industry for the majority of my life and I know how damaging they can be. But for such a highly sought after restaurant with raving reviews, we simply do not want patrons to be let down the way we were. We also had the fixed menu, we were so excited. Perhaps one of the courses was edible.. And this is so rare for us. Only one of the courses was warm, which is not the way to do it, and it was primarily burnt. I believe some of the courses were just trying too hard. Mackerel is a beautiful fish that does not need to be served raw with beet kombucha... It was not well executed guys ? Our wine pairings were nothing to write home about and a wine paring should always be exciting. They MADE us keep our cutlery for each course, which is just not professional for a restaurant of this caliber... The service was lack lustre... Really really disappointed. Sorry guys, a real miss.

Yelp
We heard so many good things about this place. But ultimately I think the best way to describe our meal was "creativity run amok". It was disappointing. I'm giving a ton of credit for their creativity. Because in reality I only really liked one thing I ate- everything else was interesting, but lacking in a cohesive, clean taste. The flavors, textures, aromas, just didn't meld very well. I think the menu changes often so it's still worth a try if you're in the area. Better you than us...

Yelp
I had the good luck of being invited for the first test dinner here. Ryan Dolan, whose work I had the pleasure of tasting when he was the chef at Arsenic, is one of the chefs in this new restaurant, and it was great to be able to eat his food again. We had seven courses, all original and perfectly cooked, ranging from a wonderful ravioli in chicken stock, to a gizzard Chang Bao, via pork belly with black carrot, to peach with verveine lemon sorbet. If you want amazing and creative food, for a decent price, and in a laid-back atmosphere, then run, don't walk to La Bijouterie.

Yelp
This was one of the many highlights of our gastronomical trip through Lyon (aka our honeymoon) If you're looking for amazingly prepared dishes that are a bit out of the ordinary, this is a sure bet. Highlights: - Amazing service and our waiter made sure to recommend some of the best wines we tasted in France - the set menu will fill you up and ensure you walk away with a smile on your face - ambience is intimate and makes for a perfect romantic dinner While it was the first night of their new set menu, I'd highly recommend running down soon to give it a try before it changes once again.

Yelp
I tried the €15 dim sum lunch as booking for dinner was only possible with a 4-week notice. The Food is good and inventive , special thumb up for the dim sum stuffed with haddock. Portions may be tinny for big appetite. Desserts are not that interesting. I should definitively come back for testing "à la carte",seems expensive for still small portions though. But the place itself is without interest: dark, mediocre decoration, tables too close, noisy, unwarm welcome (should be trendy...), long service. The chefs seem annoyed and having no pleasure. Certainly doomed to move.
