One of the best tapas we ever had and we did not expect to find it in Morro Jable. The owner has so much passion for his food and you can tell how he carefully curates the menu. You must get the mini sausage, cod and iberico pork. Lovely sweet sangria, super affordable. We will recommend here to all our friends!

I'd saved this place on Google maps long before we arrived in Morro Jable but unfortunately I'd also saved loads of others and completely forgot about it until two nights before we were due leave, and only then it was because we happened to walk past it! I immediately asked Ramon if we could book either of the next two nights but unfortunately they were full for the following day and closed the next! As I walked away Ramon called out to give my Whatsapp in case of a cancellation, I wasn't hopeful....Thankfully the following afternoon I did get a message, so we managed to get a table that evening. The food was superb as was the wine (house red (Rioja) recommended by Ramon) and the service was lovely and slow as tapas should be. No rushing to clear tables to get the next lot in. This is a one sitting restaurant where either you choose your own dishes or Ramon will choose for you. Two couples sitting near us had been coming back here from the UK for 7 and 9 years so you can see how good it is. We had such a great evening and only wish we'd remembered it earlier in the holiday. Thank you

The best bodega in Jandía! The food, the drinks and also the staff is fantastic. Make sure to try the mix tapas and always ask for the Tataki. Just amazing! Ramon always finds the perfect snaps for you, the alcohol free strawberry gin tonic was great. An absolute must visit when in Morro Jable. (Reservation always needed!!)

We ate here last night and the food is amazing. Ramon and his staff make you feel so welcome and part of ‘his house’. We went with his recommendation for the tapas and my husband does not like fish so he did one meat and one fish (octopus) for me all tasted fabulous. The wine lovely. Highly recommend you try this place but make sure you book! Thank you Ramon

We would love to give 6 stars. Not sure what was better, Ramon’s service or the food. We had two wonderful nights in a row. Ramon was very welcoming and, already after the first night, it felt like having dinner at a friend’s place. Absolutely warmhearted, welcoming and also entertaining service. The food was amazing. Every single tapas we ordered was so delicious that during our first dinner we immediately made a reservation for the next day. If we had to pick the best tapas, it would be the pimento piquillo: Stuffed bell peppers with bolognese sauce. An absolute highlight. Make sure to order bread to finish the red creamy sauce that comes with it. Also make sure to order the mousse au chocolates. Even though we were stuffed we were glad we ordered it. A fantastic, light and delicious mousse to finish the meal. Now here should be the part where we highly recommend this place to anyone. I’d rather not and hope this place stays a hidden gem! Thanks again to Ramon and his fantastic team for two wonderful dinners that will be kept in memory for a long time. Greetings also from Miss Freda.

We share the same sentiment as all the other patrons. Ramón was a wonderful host and the tapas at the bodega were amazing!! If you are in Morra Jable, you need to make a reservation and eat at this restaurant. We particularly enjoyed the chorizo in red wine sauce, fried eggplant and the spareribs. We would’ve gone again but they were closed for the remaining time we were there. A must go!

We had two reservations whilst in Morro Jable and both times were excellent. The food is exceptional and so is the service by Ramon and his team. On the first occasion, we went with Ramon's selections, which is recommended if you're not sure what to go for as it's all so good. The food is amazing. I could recommend it all but my absolute favourite was the pork, mash and apricot. Amazing. The cheesecake and rendition of 'cumpleanos feliz' for my wife's birthday were also very much appreciated. The wines were excellent. As were the recommended vodkas, gins and rums. It's an essential visit if in town. Remember to reserve as there's no walk ups - it's not as if there will be a free table anyway.

Outstanding food and service, my girlfriend and I have eaten in many high quality restaurants including Michelin starred places and the quality of food and the level of service received here was easily up there with the best we have ever had. Food is freshly cooked and locally sourced and the owner is passionate and proud of his food as he should be! We were treated as valued customers and the owner and staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the most enjoyable evening. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting FuerteVentura to book a table at this authentic restaurant.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing dining experience. Ramón is incredibly charming and made sure that our dining experience was first class. He told us this is a Bodega, meaning all of the plates are tapas, there's no coffee or paella, and there's no TV or WiFi so talk to each other! He said that the tapas tasting menu (18€ pp) would feature a full variety of dishes and if we didn't like anything he'd replace it without question. That wasn't necessary as Ramón and the other waiter brought out plate after plate of shrimp, pork, sausages, potatoes, and a huge variety of local delicacies. He explained the origin of each dish and what regions they hail from. We drank excellent wine and enjoyed the banter with Ramón about the food, the ambience, and our trip. It is one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Reservations required! And they are closed on Saturdays.

Yelp
Our friend recommend us this Tapas Bar as we were last evening in Morro Jable. We couldn't get better tip. Ramon was a perfect company with warm welcome and explain us everything. We choose tapas selections without fish and Ramon pick and bring us really delicious food. As far as I can remember it was 6 courses of very tasty tapas. Also wine was perfect we choose Spanish wine from Rioja. I can recommend this Tapas Bar to everyone who visit Morro Jable. Don't forget to book table in advance.
