Definitely tourist trap. If I can give zero star to Service, I would. No smile, no greeting, blunt tone, side eye. Seriously overrated and no respect to tourist. Because they know they are famous and people will come anyway. $6 for mojito here and below average taste. $3 elsewhere with even better taste

This place was on my bucket list, check mark ✔️ It was small and crowded. The main reason I visited the bar was that it was Hemingway's favorite bar.

Wonderful place, not at least because I reminded some of the patrons of Hemingway 🤣😂 Excellent mojitos and a very good live band. Loved the lobster cubana. Yum. Want to have a great time in Havana, don't miss this place

The bar downstairs is totally overrated, living on past glory. The service is mediocre, serving only Mojitos for $6.00 each and only accepting US currency. For a bar that boasts of being more traditional in Habana is very deceptive. The only positive is the band that plays really well. If you want to know it, walking on the sidewalk will make the trick.

Two stars for the service. The man in the cashier told us that we can pay only with euro , dollars or credit card. They do not accept their currency (we had only pesos). Tourist trap at its finest. Mojito 800 pesos equals to 1.8 euro but 6 euro if you pay with euros. However, the mojito is very good.

We were looking forward to dining at this well-known restaurant, but our experience was completely ruined by a group of scammers operating right outside the entrance. As we approached, they handed us a pen and insisted we sign their “guest wall,” pretending to be part of the restaurant. After signing, they demanded money in an extremely aggressive and inappropriate manner.My wife was so traumatized by the confrontation that she had trouble breathing and felt extremely distressed. We were forced to cancel our dinner and leave immediately. What was supposed to be a nice evening turned into a frightening and upsetting experience. I am deeply disappointed that the restaurant allows this to happen directly outside their door. There was no staff intervention, no warning to customers, and no effort to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Until the restaurant takes responsibility for the safety of its guests and prevents these scammers from harassing people, I cannot recommend visiting. Be very careful if you go your safety and peace of mind may be at risk.

Totally overrated! The front is filled with tourists all hours of the day. The food is ok, but nothing special. We tried the Ropa Vieja because a lot of people here recommend it... it was mediocre. The Mojitos are really small. All in all, a tourist trap. You can find a better place to eat with more delicious food! The live music was great, but it is practically everywhere in Havana.
