La Bohème Café

This place was fantastic! I’m new to Prague and found it after an appointment in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a salmon/avocado/cream cheese sandwich and a Flat White coffee. All amazing. I sat inside but the outdoor patio looks to be comfortable too. I will definitely come back.

I've been to many cafés in Prague and I can clearly say that this is the best one I ever visited. The food is delicious and gorgeously decorated. The baristas are professional, they'll greet you with a big smile. The prices for the portions and quality are reasonable, actually the best I've ever seen in Prague. If I could, I'd give more stars. Next time I'm in Prague I'll definitely come back again.

It wasn't too busy for midday stop. The place has a unique charm and the food is very good. Service was pretty quick overall. Would definitely recommend the pancakes, especially!

Very nice and cozy place. Love the decoration & atmosphere. The barista girl waitress was super nice and very understanding. The other guy was ok but not as sweet as her. We didn’t like our first choice - Espresso Martini cause although it looked beautiful was far too sweet for our taste buds to handle so we exchanged it for London Fog tea with oats milk and got the honey vanilla syrup on side together with decaf macchiato. We enjoyed it much more. They were understanding. The croissants (almond, cream pudding ones) looked very pleasing too and was generous size but not too big to handle.

the interior design was very impressive, it’s a very beautiful place to walk into! the food is so aesthetically appealing and delicious. we almost didn’t want to leave :)

Friendly staff, Superb coffee (I've had a flat white), the staff was only speaking English, not sure if that's something regular here, so be aware. Very interesting interior design, a lot of stuff for purchase.

Atmosphere and style was elegant. The food as well as service were superb. Great, relaxing place to visit in the morning.

As an interior designer I loved loved loved the interiors, beautifully and tastefully decorated. Good coffee and quick service (compared to some lengthy wait times we had to deal with in other venues) and super tasty grilled cheese sandwiches. we ended up going back for another breakfast of pastries and coffee which was amazing!

The ambiance was chill, soft music playing. The environment is very cozy and relaxing. Very comfortable furniture to sit on. Fresh pastries, a selection of food and a variety of coffee and tea. Service was attentive.

So there are two La Boheme Cafes The first one is my favorite. It is elegant but both are wonderful do you can't go wrong just go to both. Wonderful atmosphere , amazing and unique coffee shop vibe. Great place to meet s friend, make plans, think. And have something good to eat and drink.

Stopped in for a coffee and to relax/ kill time before my flight out of Prauge. Convenient location to hop on the metro. The decor in here is awesome!! Loved the music, it was bustling but not super loud and the servers were fast and friendly. Most notable for me was the awesomeeeeee selection of tea and coffee supplies that I drooled over after a delicious cappuccino and pretty good quiche. I did think the food was quite overpriced and not great but overall was impressed by what reminded me of coffee houses back home in New York! Definitely a cute spot to stop by for a caffeinated or sweet treat if your in the area

I LOVE La Bohème Café! It had a very chill vibe! It's a great place to take a book and relax with a latte! Their croissants, avocado toast and carrot cake are delicious!

There are quite a few cafes in Prague but this one stood out the most to me. Unique and chill interior paired with delicious coffee and healthy food options. Great to grab coffee to go and head to the park nearby!

Vinohrady is filled with cute little gems, but I chose to spend my last rainy morning in Prague at this charming coffee shop. La Bohème is so, so cute and cozy, I could have easily spent hours here reading a book if the time allowed. I ordered a dark hot chocolate and their cinnamon bun and I'm still thinking about how good they were to this day. The hot chocolate was the perfect amount of thickness, bitterness, and sweetness without being overly rich. It was so comforting, it was like drinking a hug. Their cinnamon bun is this brioche-type bun that is so fluffy and, secretly, I'm not sure if I can ever go back to eating an American cinnamon roll without wishing it were a fancy brioche Czech one. Until we meet again, Praha, I'll be dreaming of my hot chocolate and cinnamon roll from La Bohème.

This was my go to cafe while in Praha. I could order up coffee and pastries, and plan my day or browse the web or just relax. They have several methods to make coffee, including Aeropress and Vacuum pot. The ambiance is top notch. Cheers

One of my favorite coffee spots in Prague! Located in Vinohrady (which has all of the best coffee shops imo), this place was one of the best for me to meet up with a friend or get some work done. I loved how they had seasonal items as well as a regular menu, and a delicious assortment of pastries and desserts. The staff there were always kind and friendly, and the decor is so beautiful and rotating I believe! You need to ask for the login for the WiFi and I believe it's a two-hour session! I've never needed it for longer than that, so not sure if you could ask for another session once it's up. Definitely would recommend!

Small chic cafe with a nice comfy atmosphere. Service is interesting; they come to you with a menu for coffee and pastries and you order wifi as well (it's free, you need a user and password). Ordered a pumpkin cheesecake and a milk hot chocolate since it was cold and rainy (hot chocolate is definitely a must on cold weather days ). Both were the right amount of sweetness, just sweet enough. Most cheesecakes and hot chocolates in the US tend to be too sweet so it's nice to have a more Earthy tasting cheesecake and mild hot chocolate :) Great place to come to read a book or laze around on a cold day

Absolutely beautiful interior and the patio is nice to sit and people watch. The strawberry waffle was super decadent and delicious. The menu has so many exciting options to choose from. I got the cold brew and orange soda, which was an interesting combo that definitely grew on me by sip. Definitely want to return to try more drinks! They have oat milk for additional cost and everyone speaks good English.

It is a beautiful cafe ... but a terrible slow service. And then when you get your coffee it was so cold I had to return it! Even the new ones were cold.. Not sure how they heat up the milk foam...

If you are in Vinohrady and are looking for a cozy café with great coffee, this is it. The interior is really nice, the staff is super kind and speaks English really well, but most importantly, they have dogs that live on the upper floor, as far as I understood! Lovely friendly gorgeous doggies. When I come to Prague again, I will make sure I visit this place again. :)

La Bohème is true to the rave reviews! The atmosphere invites you right in and makes you feel at home (or like you're in a garden library...you can decide upon visiting;)). My caffe latte was delicious, and service was satisfactory. They spoke good enough English, although they didn't make conversation. You'll have to ask for the username and password to wifi, but it works well and lasts one hour (might work longer, but the receipt said the limit was an hour.) Clean bathrooms downstairs as well, if you'll be needing that. I highly recommend this place to the coffee or coffee shop coinneusseur!

Pretty great mood, spacey and trendy café. The cake portions were big (american big) and the capuchinos were good too. We had to ask for a wifi code for each device which was a bit awkward. Anyhow good place to go for a snack or coffee, didn't see much of breakfast options in the menu though. Service was good.

Saw Mishka recommened this place and so we checked it out. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. The interior is so well thought out, nicely decorated and this place has a very cozy feel. There are large windows, to let the sunlight in, great place to do work for a while or to meet up with a friend for coffee. They really don't have food here- so you have to prepare for that in advance. If different brews is your thing, great place to try out coffee drips from all over the world. Staff is nice, speak english or czech, and are prompt to serve you. Plenty of great seats all over the cafe, comfy chairs or sofas, or small dining tables, whatever you prefer! I more enjoyed the fact the I could sip my latte while admiring their space, a real treasure since the cafe scene here can be quite large and all slowly becoming the same type of space. Really thought La Boheme was original and full of quality. Great experience and will be back for sure.

Cannot believe I had waited so long to visit this coffee shop. I had heard great things about it and then one lovely day, I finally went. And it took my breath away! That is how great it was! The interior is absolutely stunning and there is not any other place in Prague like this one (or at least I have not found that place yet)! The coffee is very good, chai tea is ok though (call me a barbarian but I still prefer the one in Starbucks!). The service is very friendly. Overall experience is more than 5 stars! Make sure to pay a visit to this lovely coffee shop! (Make a reservation though - it can get crowded and they do not have very many seats).

Mandatory stop for all coffee lovers in Prague ! Coffee is selected with a lot of care - organic, from different origins, etc and prepared in a tons of different ways (macchiato, cappuccino, latte, but also with chocolate, whipped cream, alcohol ). Tea lovers are not forgotten since an entire part of the wall is dedicate to their favorite beverage, especially through Harney and Sons tea brand. Decoration is cosy - mix of new and vintage, with a lot of chairs and delicate sofas. We especially loved the wallpaper (mix of clouds and wind) and the seagulls hanging in the ceiling. If you pay attention to the tables, you shall probably find one or two press review speaking about the place and its amazing decoration... One star is missing : there is no food (except couple of cakes) nor brunch to go with your coffee. As European traveller used to brunch in every city visited, I would have appreciated taking this amazing coffee and eating something on the same place. Maybe next year ? Because for sure, I shall come back.

Though their main offering is coffee, I"m not going to pretend to know anything about the intricacies of different coffees because that's not why I love it there. Yes, the coffee is good. The service is nice. But most of all the, the space is just amazing. Comfortable and super design-y at the same time. Great place for a quick meeting. I haven't tried the food yet, but will share a pic next time! Also my friend had the hot chocolate - pure chocolate delight in a mug :)

Since the majority of reviews for this place are super positive, there is no need to write another similar one. When I look for reviews, I hope to discover info for places of all aspects, not just the tase of coffee. Hence, I will write about this place from the aspect of working/studying. The first thing that comes to my mind is the limited internet! You can be online only 30 min with the ticket they give you once you order. For me this is essential, since the work in my computer/phone is useless without long lasting internet. Second: Lack of charging spots. To be onest I switched two tables and neither had a charging spots. My computer might endure for half of the day, but my phone (unfortunately) dies after max of 3 hours. For people with the same problem this info might be useful. The coffee - is amazing! But I ordered espresso with milk and the cup they gave me couldnt fit both coffee and milk! The coffee spilled everywhere and it all became a mess. I have been in many coffee places and I have never encountered this before. Last point - quantity of seats. The place might look huge on pictures with many seats and in two floors, but the problem is that the second floor is never open. Plus the entrance area tables are almost all with more than four chairs, so if you drop by alone dont expect that the waiters will let you occupy a whole table by yourself :) you will most likely sit in the back area with less comfortable chairs. I hope this review will be useful for people looking for coffee places in which they will plan on sitting for a long period. At the end of the day, this is a coffee place not an office, so I fully understand their philosophy.

Beautiful cafe with warm ambiance and aesthetic decor. It is perfect when seeking a warm respite from the cold, or when searching for a comfortable, cozy place to do work. Highly recommend the matcha latte as it's the best matcha latte I've had in Europe and the carrot cake is absolutely life changing. You have to get the carrot cake, it's a no brainer! I also tried the walnut pie, and it was good, but not mindblowingly amazing like the carrot cake. Overall, would recommend this cute, cozy gem in Prague.

Flat white: 5/5 Matcha latte: 2/5 Service:2/5 They did not serve me water but serve everyone else. I had to go to the counter to ask for it as initially I thought that it was self service. Ambience: 4/5 The 30 minutes of wifi is terrible. How can I drink my coffee and matcha latte in a relax manner in 30 mins? Besides, I have the whole day free, obviously I want to hang out at a nice cafe for a longer time especially at 2 pm plus when it is quiet.

Very cool atmosphere. Flat white I had was great. Only stipulation: the wifi came in 30 minute increments, might be tougher to stay and work for a few hours. Great place to drink coffee and chat though

Great ambiance. We sat by the window overlooking the street. Good cappuccinos. We didn't have any food here but would recommend as a nice break from your walking.

I have never tried matcha latte until I came to this place, highly recommended, very cozy and good ambience!!

This is a coffee shop of very high quality and extremely friendly service. It's located away from the most touristy areas of Prague yet not far at all from the central area. Overall, probably one of the best coffee shops I've been to.

Just wow! I've passed by this place many times but never actually went in. It looked cute from the outside but I thought it was much smaller. Today I went there for a coffee and what a surprise! This place is sooo beautiful that I just couldn't stop looking around. So many details that I just loved. The space itself is beautiful, high ceilings, beautiful staircase, big windows on both sides, lots of light even on a cloudy grey day. It's not cramped with tables so you can really feel cozy there. They have upper level but it was closed, so I'm not sure is it also sitting area for customers or some offices... I actually for the first time went to the staff and asked who is the architect/designer of this place. How I understood, with my bad czech, it is connected to Vinohradsky Pavillion, and it made sense with all the designer furniture they have inside :) All the floral arrangements were done by Mario Wild, that's one name I remembered. So whoever is into interior design this is THE place to go. Oh, also, coffee is really good. Big selection of coffee and tea. I saw they also sell coffee beans and different kinds of tea, coffee pots, french press, etc. but didn't check the prices. They do take away as well and they will offer you punch card with every 10th coffee for free. Beautiful place.

Great lattes. I can't have diary and they have oat milk. I am learning more as at home barista and these guys know their coffee. Highly recommended. Pastries are ok but it maybe an unfair comparison to Paris. Five star latte and 3-4 star pastries. Atmosphere was also great and laid back with comfy chairs. I give it a five because the experience itself was so enjoyable. Good value too.

So chic and cute. I love it here. The pastry/cake options are tasty and they serve soy(a) milk! The atmosphere is similar to a Parisian cafe but without the snuff. I come here almost daily now

This is a very nice place to have a coffee. I liked the decoration and the lighting of the place. The coffee was really nice too. I would recommend it.

We happened upon this after thinking we were too late to find a breakfast spot. We scored big-they offer two choices of 3 egg omelets (with local farmer eggs), or scrambled eggs, or a 3 sweet fruit filled pancakes and whipped cream dish (all include coffee) for only 189 Kc. We sat outside in the garden spot. The omelettes were served piping hot and oh, so good! It was a welcome and delicious way to start our day!

Although it may be a bit hard to find a seat here, this is one of my favorite coffee spots in Prague. Service is always so friendly(and speak perfect English) and the coffee or tea is always wonderful, I would recommend the London fog. Such a great vibe but my only thing would be that the music is a bit too loud for me to call this a great study spot.

Today morning coffee in this coffee shop was a surprise! This place has its own soul. The furniture, design and just the place itself boost your mood immediately you enter inside. Not loud and still in the city centre. The only disadvantage (for some maybe advantage) is you can use internet for 1h only. But I am coming back anyway - especially during the hot summer. Its nice and comfy here.

Unbelievably nice! Tactful and responsive staff (at least when I was there on a Saturday morning about half an hour after opening time). Due to my system (I, Me) wasn't properly caffeinated there was a misunderstanding resulting in me getting two instead of one cup of Americana coffee, but the staff where all just smiles all the time. After the small misshap they asked me like -s-i-x-(!) times if I was satisfied and if what was ordered had landed at my table. That's Service! So is their coffee and croissant's worth a visit ? All I can say is Yes, Yes and Yes again ! High quality coffee brewed with skills and really fresh pastry ( at least the croissant's in the morning ) Thanks ! [Swedish:] Helt sjukt trevligt. Otroligt uppmärksam och trevlig personal ( åtminstone när jag var där ca 10.30 på förmiddagen) en lördag. Jag fick visserligen två koppar Americana-kaffe pga dålig engelska från min sida ( jag var helt enkelt för o-koffeinerad för att kunna prata ordentligt). Personalen log åt misstaget skrattade gott sinsemellan och frågade flrea gånger efteråt om allt var ok och att jag fått det jag beställt. Kan bara säga hatten av för fantastiskt service och vansinnigt gott kaffe!

Great atmosphere and very friendly service! I had the lavender iced latte, it was served very cold and absolutely delicious. We got the blueberry brownie cheesecake based on the recommendation of our server and he did not steer us wrong! So good, highly recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing place to hang out and have coffee/cake.

The cafe is pretty big and located a bit outside of the main tourist sites. They are mainly focused on coffee and serve good cappuccinos as well as other special coffee options like lavender floured coffee. For people who don't want coffee there are of course some additional alternatives.

One of the best coffee bars I have been to! They offer a wide variety of specialty coffee prepared in many different styles. They also offer traditional selections of lattes, mochas, etc. My fiance and I love this place so much that we went twice. It is off the beaten path, but definitely a must for the coffee enthusiast!

This was my favorite cafe in Prague, hands down. The coffee is delicious and very reasonably priced, and they have non dairy options including soymilk and almond milk. They also make specialty drinks that are difficult to find in prague, such as Matcha Green Tea Lattes. The atmosphere in this cafe is incredible. It feels airy and light, like you've been transported to a fairy tale world. If you plan to drink your coffee in the cafe (as opposed to taking it to go), they actually will seat you and have a server come take your order, which is definitely not what I was expecting. The servers are really nice, although if you are in a hurry, I don't recommend coming here because they take their time to come back to you and give you the bill once you've had your drink. That makes sense because this is a place where you will want to stop and spend some time, either to chat with friends or to read or write in a corner. It can be busy here in the afternoon, but both times I came here I found a place to sit. One day when I come back to Prague, I will visit this cafe again.

Lots of filter coffee options. Mine was really good. Lots of space to work if you want to.

This cafe was incredible. I'm a coffee nerd and have tried many of the best places in the states: this cafe has an adorable, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere, as well as delicious drinks. The staff was very welcoming. Worth the walk.

I fell in love with La Boheme Cafe the minute I stepped inside! Its like a small oasis of coffee heaven in the middle of Prague :) Great atmosphere, friendly staff and lovely decoration. You can tell that a lot of T.L.C has been put in to finishing it.... From the comfy couches to the sleek Eames chairs. And lets not forget about the obvious.. The coffee.. AMAZING! I love the menu and all the speciality drinks. What can I say, can't wait to go back! Congrats on a fab place and welcome to the neighborhood!

Giant cafe with high ceilings and extremely nice decor, amazing atmosphere. Coffee and tea selection was extremely extensive - I had the caffe latte and it was superb! There is wifi but it's not that great, it's a place where most people were to chat over a cup of coffee instead of doing work on their laptops. Highly recommend this place!

Their coffee could be terrible and I would still stop in here just for the gorgeous decor. Lucky for me their coffee was as fantastic as the space was beautiful, so it was a win-win situation. A lovely spot to pull up a seat and settle in for awhile!

Hard to add anything to what other reviewers have stated. It's friendly, lots of specialties, helpful staff and customers. I'm a sucker for vacuum pot filter coffee and was not disappointed. We had a piece of seasonal Czech gingerbread which was a nice walnuty and raisin version. The only odd thing is just 30 min free wifi. Maybe the philosophy is enough to check messages but after that you have to socialize face-to-face.
