La Botte Gaia

Creative seafood and great service in a laid-back garden setting La Botte Gaia nails it with inventive seafood dishes, fresh local ingredients, and a seriously good raw bar. The spaghetti al riccio is spot on. Service is always on point — we’re regulars and it shows, but the whole place has a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The garden setting adds just the right touch without trying too hard.

The restaurant La Botte Gaia has no beach view nor a garden view. It is located in the city and has a kind of huge roofed terrace. The welcoming was a bit posh but it seems to belong to this restaurant as they give it a kind of classy touch. Prices for the dishes are therefore higher as usual. The service at the table was very professional, nice and friendly. The food we have ordered was well prepared and nicely presented. However the presentation of the risotto was a bit strange with the sauce going all around on top. It didn't hit my taste as it was a bit bland. The main courses were however nice and tasty. The restaurant is furthermore pet friendly and we have received a table a bit a part so that we wouldn't disturb anyone although our dog is normally calm and relaxed. All good. In conclusion, the restaurant is not on the seaside but worth visit.

Really nice dishes, and super nice service. Waiters are quick and observant. The food are truly gourmet, and not as all other turist-restaurants in town. Innovative dishes, and really top quality food used for the dishes.

A wonderful culinary experience in addition to being a beautiful, romantic place to dine. The seafood variety and creativity was on-point and the service was excellent. There is a larger parking lot nearby - so you don't have to struggle searching for it in Porto Azzurro, because it is an issue - in addition to being close to plenty of other sites.

Good quality, creative recipes. The outside area is extremely warm during hot evenings in summer. Not the best value for money.

Definitely make a reservation in advance if you want to go here. We were luckily able to make a reservation day of but they only had tables available inside (which was still nice). Food was good, but not exceptional.

What a nice find in Porto Azzuro! We did not expect such elevated service and this was definitely the nicest meal we had in the town. This is a higher end restaurant with service to match. We enjoyed all of our dishes but the experience was what really made our dinner stand out.
