Absolutely wonderful find. Good wine, great good. The hostess was so friendly, professional and welcoming. Same with the waitress. I wish I had more time in Prague to come back for dinner

First of all, I had pretty high expectations. This was part of the restaurant week festival. The welcome, seating etc. was average at best. Arancini was great, awkward thing is that you get a ball less compared to the pic on the website. The main course was decent, but lacked flavour. Tiramisu was disappointing and without taste. I am sure that restaurant of this quality can do better. I attached some expectations vs reality photos. I can't get rid of the feeling that you won't get your money worth here.

Veronica took very good care of us she speak good English. I highly recommend this bistro place. Very pleasant atmosphere. The dog is on the house.

I have just had dinner at La Bottega, and the food was simply stunning! I started with the sardines, which were great. But then followed that with the beef cheeks, creamed potato and spinach: the flavours were quite wonderful! It looked great, but when I took the first mouthful: wow! Service was great too, attentive, but not intrusive. Highly recommended!

I recently visited La Bottega Bistroteka and tried three dishes, 2 glasses of Chablis and I must say, it was an unforgettable culinary experience! Every dish was prepared to perfection,flavour of finest ingredients. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was excellent, friendly and attentive. Many thanks to the Manager and his team. This is one of the best meals I’ve had in Prague. Whether you're a local or just visiting, I highly recommend stopping by for a meal you won’t forget! P. It was a Wednesday night, but I still went online to book a reservation. This restaurant is so convenient, just minutes from our hotel. The service was really good, the server giving recommendations when asked. You are immediately served a basket of bread, then we mixed the olive oil & balsamic at our table as we liked it. I ordered the ravioli with fontina, truffles and chestnut purée. My husband ordered the porcetta. My ravioli was really good, but felt it was a smaller portion. Luckily, I ordered a mixed salad, served on a long platter, but they did not give us salad plates to eat it with. The porcetta was really good with caramelized apple cream in the side. It reminded me of the Filipino lechon. This was probably one of the better meals I've had while in Prague. The prices are higher, so this would be a treat yourself meal.

Excellent meal and staff. Christina was skilled at preparing the Turbo, attentive, and made the experience charming. We followed her recommendations from the cheese dish starter to the fish. Save some bread for the mushroom, garlic, and potato sauce that is served over the Turbo. Wow! We understand all La Bottega's share ownership. Linka is next .

We decided to come here because of the good reviews and it was right downstairs from our apartment, what a fabulous meal! My wife got an entrecôte which was amazing. Think of a tenderloin, extremely tender and with some salt to bring out the taste. We also had some vegetables with carrots, endives, and tomatoes. I got a beef ragout pasta and like most great Italian restaurants the standout was the pasta itself. Oh yeah I also had a great eggplant soup with a poached egg inside and a sprig of chicory I believe. Delicious and mild in a good way before having a the meaty pasta dish. This was our best meal in the last week that we've been in Europe which is saying a lot!

The food is good. The melon soup is great. The catfish is tender and juicy, perfectly cook. My scallop is super small compare to Canada and a bit salty for me. It is my birthday and the owner is so nice to bring us champagne. The dessert is awesome. Pistachio and strawberry cake is very nice, not too sweet but with a very good nutty flavor.

Absolutely loved this place. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was awesome. Our waiter even went outside to take our picture through the window which displayed the name. Highly recommend when in Prague

This place is amazing! They fresh squeezed the orange juice on order! They imported a baker from Italy to bake their authentic Italian bread. In general, the food in Prague is of a freshness and quality that I've never experienced before in one place. Have to visit Prague for the food alone and much more so for the awesomeness of the city.

Had brunch here and this bistro wowed me. *Egg Benedict Their Egg Benedict has the best selection of cheese, ham and bagel. Everything put together is simply heaven. And I thought NYC makes the best Egg Benedict. *Scrambled Egg with Salmon One pretty decent dish.

Ok..Ok, is there such thing as 6-stars on Yelp, because if there was, La Bottega would certainly fit the bill. It was SO good that I almost don't want to write about it, because I don't want the secret to get out. But alas, I must keep the Yelp community in the know. In all reality I cannot think of anything that could have been better about this meal and the entire experience. I was shocked with how delicious it was, in addition to such an amazing atmosphere. I have a friend who lived in Prague for years and he told me, "this is one of the best Italian restaurants I have eaten at. It might even be the best." Well slow down there turbo. That is one big claim. Anyways, we arrived late on a Saturday night and from the moment I walked into the restaurant I was impressed. The wait staff was extremely knowledgeable and kind. They made sure we always had drinks (in Europe they aren't free) but they made sure everything was great regarding the wait staff. They have a section of the restaurant where you can choose your own meat/cheese board. Me and my buddy went and tasted a few cheeses and paired them with some delicious meats. The prosciutto and spicy salami were remarkable. I absolutely loved them paired with a nice blue cheese and some other one I can't pronounce the name of. Our main courses were delicious. I got the pasta with beef cheeks. Cooked perfectly. I tried my friends pork wrapped in bacon and the crab filled ravioli. All were perfect. Another friend ordered an off menu carbonara that was yum. Their open kitchen concept is also cool. I loved seeing them make my food. Since we arrived late, the kitchen closed and it was also cool to see how meticulously they cleaned the kitchen. I will be back 100%.

Staying near by and had a good dinner a couple nights ago so thought to try the breakfast. I had the salty option and my partner had the sweet breakfast. Coffees were good and the breakfast absolutely delivered. Would highly reccommend.

This is an amazing restaurant for any occasion - whether you come here for breakfast, lunch or dinner or to have a drink with friends, you will never be dissapointed. The atmosphere is great, the wines and champagne exquisite and the food...simply yummy! Definitely a place that should not be missed

Perfect lunch. While we missed out on the egg benedict as we arrived past 11am on a Monday, our lunch was delicious. The rigatoni with calamari was light and flavorful it's fresh pasta clearly made in house. In addition the "business lunch" complete with a ham and cheese plate as the first course and a sous vide salmon was perfection. It is a perfect lunch place and a wonderful start to a Monday.

My friend and I stumbled upon this restaurant on our way to the marionette opera. It's a very clean looking establishment. It was kind of like walking into a Whole Foods dining area but more upscale. The lighting was dim--a good and quiet place for catching up with a friend or two. There was a display for desserts and salads in the front. We ordered pheasant ravioli and bucatini with scallops. We also had the special red wine of the day and the tiramisu. It was all very tasty! The tiramisu was the best thing on the menu--phenomenal. It melted in my mouth. Chances I go back just for tiramisu? 100%!! Only complaint is that it's a bit pricy for Prague. I've been spending around 12$ for hearty meals with a drink and dessert. It cost about 25$ here.

While exploring Prague on our first night, we were trying to find something to eat that wasn't in the dead center of old town (tourist traps). La Bottega Bistroteka looked interesting, so we stopped in. While this is clearly not Czech food (it's Italian), the food was still tasty all around. Service was friendly to English speakers, and prices were good. While this place was packed to the gills with locals, if you are looking for more traditional Czech fare, I would probably skip it.

Very good service and while a lot of the food coming out of the kitchen looked great, my food wasn't very good. I had the lamb ossobuco and it was quite dry and the potatoes didn't have any flavor. The grilled octopus was nice but the prices here are very steep for Prague. The poached egg appetizer was good, though the egg was overdone. The rabbit broth was very good. If you're on an expense account, definitely give it a go. If not, there's plenty of other great food in Prague.

We went there for a late breakfast after a long plane ride from Toronto. This place was exactly what we needed! The latte was so delicious I ordered a second onae and I usually don't drink coffee! I really enjoyed the mashed avocado served on a toasted, garnished with 2 poached eggs, a drizzle of olive oil and chives. It was so simple and soooooo good! Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. The girl who served us was very nice! We will be going back tomorrow for sure!!!

Amazing!!! The food is amazing!!! The wine is amazing!!! What can I say it's just simply amazing. It can be on the pricey side but they make the most amazing gluten free pasta dishes. They work around what you can or can't eat and what you do and don't like. Btw jazzy music too!

Incredible local spot. Waited an hour for a table on a Tuesday. We sat down around 8pm, and were served dinner at 9:20. It was worth the wait - each dish was impeccable. I had the octopus - my fiancé said it was the best he tasted all year. Bartenders and wait staff were extremely knowledgable on food and wine. Make a reservation and visit asap.

Delish salads, sautéed spinach and options available if you're vegetarian. I had the pumpkin ravioli and seaweed salad. My partner had the tenderloin grilled. Service was excellent and they had a balsamic reduction to die for.

The poached egg with avocado was delicious. Our waiter was very friendly. The area was comfortable and inviting.

After too long waiting-time someone finally bothered to give me a menu. I ordered an eggs Benedict and a coffee, that actually didn't take very long time to arrive. The coffee was ok but not more. The sandwich was the same size as a Czech chlebíčky and this was a 250 CZK-eggs Benedict. The bread was soggy and chewy. Not English muffin but more like a bagel from BILLA. A small one. Half of it. The Salomon was some low quality version. Looked like it had been left out the whole day to become sweaty in the middle and dry and wrinkled along its edge. Fuj! The egg was actually ok. The hollandaise sauce was only one spoonful and TOTALLY tasteless. Eggs Benedict is one of my big favourites and I try it all over the word were I go. La Bottega Bistrotéka´s version is by far the most disgusting version I ever experienced. An insult to the recipe. As the coffee was drinkable I wanted a second cup to wash away the horrible taste that the sandwich had left in my mouth. During 15-20 I tried desperately to achieve eye contact with one of the MANY waiters on duty. I succeeded with some but no one would make the effort and come over and ask what I wanted. When I effusively started to pack up my belongings one guy showed up to collect my empty cup. I took the opportunity to ask for the bill to which he replied "Yes thank you". I never saw him again. I stayed another 15 min waiting, but not a single person came to my table. Here I should point out it was quite empty during my stay but the staff was plentiful. Probably as many waiters as there were guests, but all of them were very busy stanchion the walls. In the end I simply left. Slowly and all the time trying to make eye contact with one of the guys on duty, to offer them a last chance to ask for my money. Not a single one of them showed any interest. So I have to conclude the only positive thing you can say about this place is that the service is so bad they don't even bother to charge you. However, even for free I hope I never again have to experience an eggs Benedict like the one you get at La Bottega Bistrotéka. Big warning! Do not waste part of your your life by visiting La Bottega Bistrotéka.

High quality bistro that serves amazing breakfast all day during the weekend. Great location right in the center of Prague and a trendy but cosy interior. The service is also exceptionally good and the waiters and staff at delicatessen counter give great recommendations. Otherwise you might have trouble choosing from all the delicious dessert options on display.

What a racist place. Waked in and they asked if we had a reservation. Said no and they said they were full. Asked if we could order to go and they said yes, but when we asked for a croissant they said they were out. Wtf there's a huge picture of croissants on your window! Couple behind us walked in and sat down and the staff said nothing.

Nice setting, pricey for Budapest, okay food. Skipping dessert is fine. The eclairs were only okay and again, pricey. The service was nice enough.

Decent touristy place. The food was good, but the portions are way too small, taking the price into account.

Great service great breakfast! Eggs were Cooke perfectly and all around very unique food. Unfortunately they must use the same cutting board for everything as all our food tasted like onions(salmon, fruits, etc) but overall good food.

La Bottega has really good food with a lovely ambiance. In particular, I loved the ravioli with caramelized pears. We went there for lunch and was surprised with the quality and taste of the food. The service was also excellent.

On the first night in Prague, we randomly walked into La Bottega (we noticed from the outside that it had a nice vibe). We were initially turned down because they were fully booked (yes, the place did look busy), but a very nice hostess took another look and found a table that was about to free up. So we stayed and ended up being very satisfied. The ambiance was hip and casually relaxed but with a certain class. The service was very polite. The food was great: we had a presentation of their fresh fish menu and enjoyed our choices very much (both taste- and presentation-wise). All in all, we were happy customers.

Very tasteful dishes and well executed. Great vibe and friendly staff. The first time I visited I was impressed and would have given this 5 stars based on the first visit. we've returned again but this time the pumpkin risotto, which was amazing last time lost some of its flair due to an over serving of cheddar mixed in and a lack of pumpkin. Nevertheless, quality food and in my top 10 for must try restaurants in Prague.

This is a great restaurant for breakfast, lunch or a light dinner. It's mostly Italian food - we had breakfast and tried the eggs benedict and an avocado sandwich with egg. Very delicious! The waiters were very friendly and the restaurant is relatively big but comfortable.

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. This place is a must if you are living in Prague or want a break from Standard tourist fare. The real gem here is the cold prepared foods. The options change, I had a fantastic shrimp and avocado salad, hummus, artichoke salad and green bean and mushroom salad. The breakfast is fabulous as well, omlette's, pastries and a great barista. The restaurant has great food as well, but the unique part of this is the front room. Great spot to pick up food and have a quick bite or picnic somewhere. Another home run in Ricardo's empire.
