Best panini I had in Venice. It was made to order and the meat, the cheese, the veg are fresh sandwiched with a hot tasty bread. It came surprisingly big in portion. With a glass of red wine to complement the meal, my dinner sitting next to the canal was perfect.

This was one of the best paninis I have ever had. I got the vegan panini (and I’m not strictly vegan or vegetarian) of roasted seitan, beetroot salad, caramelized onions, and artichoke. I ordered at the bar and was lucky to snag a table outside right along the canal. The panini was made fresh to order. The bread was perfectly toasted and so hot and fluffy. Sandwich was really flavorful. I was really impressed. I’m thinking of going back just for that sandwich alone with my few days here in Venice. I grabbed a spritz bianco for my drink for 3.5 euros. Really light on the alcohol, but decent for the price.

Great freshly made panini. You can choose from the menu or create your own panini. Also you can get selection of cheese and meat accompanied by your favorite drink. Canal view is great.

Cute little wine bar and sandwich shop. The lady working was very knowledgeable and helped us order. It was such a cute little spot but definitely small and limited seating. I had a great sandwich and they had vegetarian and vegan options as well!

If I could give an 1000 out of 10 I would. The BEST food I’ve had in Italy. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Get the fantasy board and have her make you 3 surprise sandwiches to share with your friends!!!

We absolutely loved La Bottiglia! We stopped by for a couple of glasses of wine during the afternoon. They have a wonderful selection at an affordable price. They have inside seating and outdoor seating in the square. The bar cat Sylvester is cute but prefers to not interact with humans :)

Yelp
Cozy bar run by two sweet girls, we tried the bottled pear juice (purée rather) and the charcuterie plate with salami and pecorino. The cheese was crumbly and flavorful, and the bread served along was crispy and light, approved by us as well as the 2 fat sparrows who ate alongside.

Yelp
A nicely situated cafe, casual food joint by the water that serves up panini sandwiches and cheeseboards. The food and drinks are all reasonably priced for being in a very touristy area by the Basillica Santa Maria ranging from $4-$10 euros. The panini is to die for, we opted for the prosciutto sandwich with mozzarella, and sundried tomatoes served on warmed foccacia bread for a generous portion at about $9 euro. Definitely come here if you are looking for a casual bite during your touristy endeavors.

Yelp
This was a small little shop tucked away in a corner. It was late in the evening when we got there and hardly anyone was around. The area was also dimly lit so it felt a bit sketch. We were helped by a friendly gentleman that explained to us the process of making the sandwich. There was an assortment of items to choose from: three types of cheese, three types of meat, and even more fillings - such as, zucchini, artichoke, tomatoes. We ordered a sandwich with prosciutto, free cheese (recommended to go with the meat), and zucchini. IT WAS SO GOOD! I was blown away how simple the panini was, but also amazingly delicious. One of my favorite meals/snacks in Venice. It's large enough to share between two or have one to yourself if you're hungry. Don't skip this place!

Yelp
Great little wine bar in Venice. Bar staff is knowledgeable and friendly. It is worth your time to find this little place. We enjoyed sitting next to the canal listening to the sounds of Venice: water lapping, footsteps on cobblestone and quiet laughter from people enjoying a holiday. Peaceful.

Yelp
Was looking for a quick snack and found this place by pure luck. The panini was amazing made with fresh ingredients and complemented with a nice glass of beer. Not to expensive and the two girls working there where working their tales off.

Yelp
Great little charcuterie tray and good local wine. Only two tables outside and the pigeons are aggressive but the two gentlemen working inside were very friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Sometimes you remember the place and exact moment when you fell in love. This is when I met my favorite wine ever, anywhere: a somehow affordable Amarone on a quiet back street of Venice (I know, I sound like one of those people), a bottle of which the bartender would only open if two or more glasses were ordered. Don't mind if we do...along with a small but satisfying board of meats, cheeses, and antipasti perfect for snacking/light lunching on a warm Italian afternoon.

Yelp
An unexpected amazing find. We were trying to find another place, but ended up getting lost so found the next closest wine bar. Such a fun time that clearly is where the locals come after work. Fun vibe, great sampling of northeastern Italian wines you don't find elsewhere, engaging hospitality. We didn't have any, but the homemade sandwiches looked incredible.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this gem by accident. We grabbed a Prosecco with fresh squeezed pomegranate juice and snagged a couple stools inside. Before I knew it, we had sat there for 2 hours. Grabbed 2 more drinks and a panini. The line was non-stop. They had to have cranked out over 100 paninis in the time we sat there. The girl and guy behind the counter were making it happen and seemed to be enjoying the chaos! If you find yourself walking by, do yourself a favor and go in! Also, great playlist and espresso!

Yelp
Awesome place for a cheap glass of good wine! We got two glasses for 7 euro and it was great wine! Nice vibes too and some good music. Sit outside on the water and drink your glass. Very beautiful.

Yelp
fantastic sandwich bar along a quiet canal. you build your own sandwich with the choice of meat, cheese, and toppings. i had the porchetta which was fabulous, and my husband had the salami which was also delicious. there is outdoor seating and plenty of beer and wine to chose from - it can't be beat!

Yelp
must stop in Venice. fantastic sandwiches, some of the best I've ever had. the bread and ingredients is all super high quality. get one salami and one prosciutto. they have different options for cheeses and stuff to add, go with the the buffala mozzarella for the prosciutto and the creamy cheese and pepper mixture on the salami and you won't be disappointed. really nice people working there, cool vibe with good beer and wine too.

Yelp
People always talk about how great Italian pizza is but the sandwiches in Italy are highly underrated. I had arguably the best sandwich I've ever eaten right in this wine bar. They give you your choice of meat, cheese, and any other topping you want, all hand cut in front of you. I had a turkey and bresaola sandwich with a pomegranate "spremuta" to drink. The man working there was very kind to me, which I really appreciated because I was traveling in Venice alone. They provide free maps of Venice as well, which was very helpful! La Bottiglia may be small, but do not make the mistake of passing by this little shop if you ever get the opportunity to travel to Venice.

Yelp
This little hole in the wall was something that me and my family stumbled upon. At first I thought nothing of it because of their cheap aluminum seats but as I stepped in I then realized it was more then just a little hole in the wall with boar legs hanging from the sealing and wine on the walls. This little Panini room, as I like to call it, had amazing service because of the employees that spoke perfect English, that made my experience there outstanding. The Panini sandwich was definitely the best Panini I tasted so far. Truly, La Bottiglia was a diamond in the rough, and a restaurant that I would certainly come back to.

Yelp
Quite possibly the best (and most hip) sandwich place in Venice. It was recommended to us by a local, and is one of the few places where they'll make their exquisite sandwiches in front of you, under your direction. Lots of ingredients to choose from, all fresh, and a young and cocky crew who know what they're doing. Located one canal bridge away from Basilica dei Frari, it is easy to miss. It's a tiny place -- two tables in front, two around the corner, and the bar which can seat maybe 4. However, if you're tired of mediocre touristy food, this place will be your salvation. Enjoy!

Yelp
Great sandwiches, great food. Great neighborhood off the beaten track and totally local. Even the canal you sit on is quite, a real Venetian experience. I would easily come back.

Yelp
Great place for apéro with a glass of wine and a (delicious and freshly prepared) charcuterie platter. Super location and very decent prices!

Yelp
This was our favorite stop on our impromptu street food tour of Venice. It's a bit off the beaten path, but totally worth the trek. Leave the crowds at St. Marks behind and go find some real food. This is it! Artisanal, local, creative and fresh. It was a little busy when we visited , but Max took the time to describe all of the choices, and convinced me to try the cured tongue sandwich with radicchio - it was amazing! Excellent panini. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Venice.

Yelp
La Bottiglia has a great atmosphere, drinks, fresh quality food and is exactly the kind of casual spot for people-watching and enjoying true Venezia life, away from tourist crowds and pre-made food.

Yelp
This is a great place to come and grab a panini in Venice! Great selection of local meats and cheeses as well as beer and wine highly recommend!

Matthew S.

Yelp
Great little place for meat and cheese or sandwiches. Also, have a great selection of wine by the glass that lets you try a variety of Italian wines. Not really considered a place to have dinner, but everything was so good we chose to stay here instead of moving on to another restaurant.

H S.

Yelp
Cute, clean, and quiet cafe for a sandwich and glass of wine. Fresh ingredients used in sandwiches. Wine is very fairly priced compared to restaurants on the grand canal. Georgio behind the counter is super friendly and gave us great wine recommendations and even created a cheese and ham plate for us per our request. Definitely stop here for a break for the hustle and bustle of the city!

Yelp
This was our highlight of Venice!!! This is real fresh ingredient made to the order sandwiches! They were amazingly yummy! my husband and I came back twice and the first time even ordered 2 sandwiches to go!!! 2nd time we ordered more to go as well. Owner is sweet and as Americans we needed something fresh not something already made like other spots in Venice. We got ham, mozzarella sun fried tomatoes and mushrooms so yum! They have all kinds of meats and cheeses!
