We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Upon arrival, the lobby was very nice, but our first room did not match the photos and the shower was broken. The sea view was beautiful, but considering the price we paid (approx. 330 AUD per night), the room was not worth it.
After complaining, we were moved to a room identical to the photos, much larger and exactly what we were looking for. However, the shower in this replacement room was also broken, which was very inconvenient. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety and high quality. The sea view from the room was stunning.
The downside: at night, you can hear everything from the corner, as if there is a bar playing loud music; the windows don’t fully block the noise. For two nights, I could barely sleep before 1 a.m., which affected the experience.
At the beach, although the nice sunbeds should be available to guests, the staff marks them as “reserved” to give them to external visitors. Every time I complained, the staff would roll their eyes, but eventually give me a bed. It shouldn’t be necessary to fight every day, as paying guests should have priority over outsiders, which was frustrating.
The gym is basic and some facilities were damaged. Food and cocktails in the restaurant are also expensive, so it was often better to go out.
Positive: The reception staff were very kind and helpful, always willing to assist.
Overall, it was a mixed experience: the room was good after the change (though the shower was broken), breakfast and views were excellent, but noise, beach issues, some facilities, beach staff behavior, and high prices make me not fully recommend it. If you pay a bit more, there are better options that truly match the price.(wi-fi BAD )
