Very good restaurant! For the entree they have small portions which is very good 👍 prices are very reasonable. Service is great as well!

We had a lovely lunch at La Braisiere. The staff are lovely and were kind and patient with our rubbish French. I would highly recommend a couple of glasses of the house rosé, the foie gras ravioli and the fillet steak with mushroom sauce. The fillet was perfect - order it saignant (on the rare side of medium rare)

We had an enjoyable experience here. We were told that this place is always booked up so we were lucky to grab a table. The food was great. Special mention to the waiting staff. These people work hard. The restaurant has the kitchen on one side and the bar on the other so staff have to move quickly and serve not to mention also having an upstairs section with many tables outside in this heat. Well done you do a great job.

Excellent food: I had Magret and Mousse au Chocolat. The Magret was exactly au point, with Roquefort sauce, which goes well with it. The Mousse was an extremely generous portion, very well made with dark chocolate and whipped cream on the side. Loved their homemade bread, not so much the baked potatoes, which were a bit soggy.

Very good canard! Well cooked in a wood burning oven (that added a nice churrasco taste that pleased our Brazilian taste buds). The service was very good as well - they were able to accommodate our dinner even though we didn’t have a reservation. Next time, we will make a reservation so we can eat inside.

We dined at this wonderful restaurant for three days in a row because we simply couldn’t get enough of the amazing food! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by a warm, inviting atmosphere that set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The food was everything and more than we hoped for in France—classic French dishes done to perfection with incredible flavor and attention to detail. The staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. Even the kids’ meals were impressive, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor—our little ones were thrilled! The portions were generous, and every dish we tried left us craving more. Thank you to the entire team for making our time in Toulouse so memorable. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to enjoy authentic, delicious French cuisine in a charming setting! We’ll be back for sure.

Such an enjoyable evening. Would recommend to all. Service from arrival to departure was attentive and informative. Fire char offered a wonderful steak well sauced.

Ate here twice on the same day! Lunch was really excellent with delicious food, great value, interesting wines by the glass and brisk service. At dinner the food was still good but the service was disastrous. It seemed like we were on the invisible table and each stage of service took an age, which was disappointing. Still, I'd recommend, particularly for a cassoulet or duck lunch.

Yelp
Enjoyed the duck skewer, potatoes & salad. All else in our party enjoyed beef including two celiacs. Friendly and allergy knowledgeable staff. They checked with the chef on gluten free dishes. Much appreciated!

Yelp
We took a senior colleague here for a "nicer" dinner, and no one was disappointed. The idea is pretty simple. Each person orders a cut, which is grilled in plain view on the charcoal grill in the middle of the restaurant. The table is also served duck-fat potatoes and a simple salad. The winning dish was the duck breast, but everyone was thrilled with their order.

Yelp
This was my favorite place! They are busy for dinner so keep that in mind, make a reservation! I ordered duck breast, and you get unlimited fries and salad with the meal. I also ordered a white wine which was poured into a huge glass. Everything was delicious but come hungry! Best duck I had while I was in France. I tried to go back another day but it was completely full, I wish I could have had one more amazing meal here!

Yelp
This was my favorite restaurant while I was in Toulouse. I ordered the steak, forgot which cut. It was so tender and the blue cheese sauce was awesome. They serve so much fried potatoes as a side dish and guess what? I ate the whole damn plate. I'm talking about 2 - 3 pounds of potatoes, lol. The price was only $19 euros too, the best value IMO.

Yelp
Great food and service, even if a bit pricey by Toulouse standards. Can recommend the Nems (Vietnamese pastry like starter) and the lamb chops.

Yelp
Best place to eat meat (specially duck), but the other dishes are excellent too (I especially like their salmon). Amazing fries (Toulouse style-cooked in duck fat), and great entrées (I have tried a lot of them but the one that has stuck with me is the foie gras mi-cuit. Different sauces to go well with your meat and spice up things a bit from the average meat plate, but as I said, the duck is great in every form (magret, confit). I'm taking there every person that comes and visit and they all love it!

Yelp
Grilled meat does not get any better than this. My favorites are the magret de canard and lamb chops. And everything comes with never ending servings of the most unbelievable duck fat frites in Toulouse.
