La Brasa de Ibiza

We visited La Brasa for lunch and it was an unforgettable experience. We ordered the black paella, frog legs, and homemade bread with cheese – everything was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and worth every cent. The homemade bread with cheese was simply outstanding! We also had sangria with plenty of fresh fruit – at €42 it’s definitely worth it for such a high-quality, refreshing drink. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere fantastic, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing dining experience.

It’s a really pretty place, but too expensive for what you get. The paella is the only nice thing, I guess… The rest of the meat and fish were just not edible. We didn’t have luck with our server either—she was extremely rude, even though there were only three tables including ours. We waited an hour for food that came out burnt, chewy, dry, and with no presentation whatsoever. P.S. in the picture, this was supposed to be medium rare…

This garden restaurant is much more than just a spot to eat; it’s a full sensory experience. Upon entering, you’re greeted by a majestic tree with its branches spreading across the entire patio, creating a natural, spectacular, and almost mystical atmosphere. Dining here feels like being in a little paradise. The customer service is unbeatable. The staff make you feel right at home—always attentive, friendly, and smiling. It’s important to be patient during peak season since the venue is quite large and, although the kitchen is fast, dishes like the paella take some time to prepare. The wait is definitely worth it. My tip: while waiting for your meal, enjoy the starters. The bread with alioli is next level—smooth, flavorful, and melts in your mouth. The green olives with pits are perfect paired with a cold beer served in a frozen mug. The portions are generous, presentation is impeccable, and every dish is perfectly seasoned and served at the right temperature. I especially recommend the Iberian secreto, a true culinary masterpiece. What makes it even better is the atmosphere: people from all over the world sharing the same garden, the same patio, and the same passion—to eat well and enjoy. At Brasa, you don’t just eat—you create unforgettable moments. A place I would visit a thousand times over. Highly recommended for those looking for great food, excellent service, and a spectacular atmosphere.

The client does not feel valued at La Brasa. While the food in this restaurant is good, the service is sorely lacking. Things started badly for our group on arrival when we asked the gentleman at the bar for a table and he said "one minute" then proceeded to carry on with his tasks for (I kid you not) ten minutes. I actually thought I had misheard him. When sitting, we could barely move as our table would have been a tight fit for one person- we were three with a makeshift seating zone for the third person. Our food took over an an hour to get served and when I asked our server if something was wrong our dishes showed up making one think the order had been altogether forgotten. Patrons around us were also complaining about the wait. It is a pricey establishment and I would not recommend it given the type of service received. We arrived at 20h30 and left past 22h for a three person dinner. Lastly, there isn't enough wait staff so trying to call a server also takes +10m each time.

Disappointing experience — only the setting is worth it Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was very poor. It was recommended by our hotel for its food and atmosphere — and while the setting is indeed beautiful, that’s where the positives end. Everything else was disappointing. After placing our order, we waited for almost 30 minutes before being told that one of our two main dishes was actually unavailable, despite the fact that it had already been confirmed as available. We chose to proceed with just the paella, which arrived after another full hour of waiting. Sadly, the paella was far below expectations. It was basically rice with chicken, with barely any seafood. The mussels were just shells — there was no meat inside. The dish was bland, tasteless, and completely overpriced. The two young waiters were kind and attentive — they were the one of the positive part of the service. The long delays, combined with the low quality of the food, really ruined the experience. A real shame, because the space gives you the impression that you’re in for something special.

Beautiful restaurant, excellent location, great food. We visited for an evening meal on our recent holiday and were recommended LaBrasa d’Eivissa. We were told to book ahead but even at the height of season it wasn’t too busy even at 8pm and were able to be seated straight away. We were seated in a really beautiful courtyard, in between the indoor and outdoor areas. It is really beautiful and the atmosphere they create is second to none. Service was a little slow but staff were friendly and good at their job. The oysters we had for starters were unbelievable, they were my favourite part of the meal. My wife loved them also but said she would have liked the option of a hot sauce with them, but I loved them the way they were. For the main I had the lobster, there was quite a wait for it to arrive. It was cooked very well, really delicious. It came traditionally with all the shell, this may put some off especially as no tools were given to help get all the meat out. My wife had the baked fish was once again found it delicious and highly recommends it. Pricing is expensive but inline with most establishments in Ibiza. Again like most places on the island bread and water is not complimentary. The restaurant is beautiful but you can see some elements of the kitchen look unclean and my only real criticism is that the toilets were really dirty and poorly maintained. Don’t let this put you off it is a great restaurant and we enjoyed our time here. Get the oysters!

Wonderful place for a light lunch or a full meal. The sangria was fresh and fruity. We had the vegetable flowers, croquettes, and cheese for apitizers with a wonderful walnut, goat cheese, and bacon salad. The atmosphere is tranquil with birds chirping and a light breeze flowing through. A pleasant surprise.

Delicious Paella and Great Atmosphere! Paella was tasty and well prepared. Cozy setting with a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend!

La Brasa de Ibiza. The bougainvillea lined front is definitely a plus and eye catching for this restaurant. Once you walk in, it's cooler from more bougainvillea covering the overhead and giving lots of shades. All the tables are set elegantly under the shades. The hostess will clean up the tables and chairs before you are sitting down. Glad we got there during early afternoon and able to get a seat right away. Its a must place to visit if you are in Ibiza and a great place for photo opportunity. Few things we ordered was delicious, server was very prompt.

This was my 3rd time and 3rd trip to Ibiza. I always eat here lol... this place got good looking people etc just walking in and out. I got the steak, like 6 different paellas, expresso, and the olive garlic dip with the bread omg. When you're with French people we sat closer to the door because everyone needs to have a smoke break etc lol I bet you I will eat here again.

Horrible desde el servicio hasta la comida. Éramos los primeros en el restaurante y aún así nos sentimos que era una molestia para la chica que nos atendió. Pedimos unos champiñones que para 20e estaban sin sabor y una presentación poco agradable. No pudimos terminarlos. Después de 1 hora de espera (recuerdo fuimos los primeros en llegar al restaurante) llega mi atún que sabía a pasado y baboso y el arroz estaba frío. Mi novio comió el pato y ese si estuvo mejor. A pesar que no comi el atún y le dije al muchacho que me trajo la cuenta de su calidad (le dije que sabía a pasado y que no estaba bien- solo se disculpó pero me cargo por completo. También te cobran por persona el pan pero no te avisan de ese cobro. Súper NO recomendado así se vea el ambiente bonito. Servicio horrible y comida aún peor. Un tourist trap - don't go

Located at the skirts of Castillo de Ibiza this fresh and cozy restaurant will mot disappoint. In my personal opinion food was GREAT! We ordered the Tuna Tartar, Ibiza Prawn bread and olives and Zucchini flowers with some Red Vermouth. Great food and ambiance. Would definitely come back again. You have to get the servers attention otherwise they will NOT come by. Otherwise this is an amazing place.

!!!!! FOOD POISONING !!!!! It was horrible! But even more horrible after! I spent 20h of food poisoning in the hospital after having dinner in La Brasa, I think it's because of not fresh seafood! The stuff is so bad, thy don't take dirty plats from the table and make you keep fork and knife during your all courses without changing it. And it's May, it even the high season! They couldn't care less about the guests. We stayed in Ibiza for 10 days and every day except the one after foot poisoning, we were having dinners in different places and La Brasa was the worst, and even if forgot about food poisoning, the dinner itself was the worst. Also extremely not comfortable chairs and the table! There are so many great restaurants in Ibiza, avoid La Brasa.

Going back through photos from a cruise in Oct 2022. The Squid Ink Paella was the most memorable meal of our trip. Location, service and outdoor atmosphere were all excellent.

The best restaurant in Ibiza hands down. Their paella is delicious and so is there meat. The entry bread and spread is SO GOOD! I was in Ibiza for 4 days and I came back 2 days in a row to eat here. Recommend

The setting is really nice. Would be good if you want a romantic meal. The food though is only mediocre. The prices were reasonable given the setting though. Service is pretty terrible.

Had the tuna filet with vegetables instead of rice ... It was amazing! This place is definitely a good choice for sea food, it's very fresh and tasty.

Atmosphere is great but food is okay, not mind blowing. Also portions are small. Recommend coming here for the ambiance though.

Alright ... just got out of that thing and don t know where to start. Never been treated like like that in 10 years in Ibiza. We all know that sometimes you pick up the wrong restaurant but this one is a true terrible experience. You get in there and yes the semi terrasse is very nice and welcoming. We got placed by obviously the owner. We painfully ordered to the smile less and so much bored waiter dressed as a beach walking salesman (and din t make me wrong, i got nothing against beach walking salesman at all) after 15mn 4 tapas. 2 of them came after 40mn patatas bravas dried out as hell obviously from them night before and a mackerel ceviche that is absolutely not a ceviche but 6 super thin slices of fish swimming in olive oil pepper and a tiny touch of lime. How the hell can they call that a Ceviche Ok I ve not been the nicest and gentlest person in the world when i ask for the rest of our tapas order after 50mn in total and surely because I m so sick and tired of those restaurants, fake fancy, with bored seasonal staff probably over exploited but come on din t put the blame on customers. Back to the experience.... when i asked the rest of my obviously so amazing tapas that it takes a while to cook, waiter start to give me explanations, that they are terribly busy (25 people seating here) and if I m in a hurry i should have say it when ordered and that is the traditional way to serve tapas and should for all of them at the same time 4 tapas 50mn ... and the guy decided to cancel the rest of our order and gave me the check mouhahahahahahaha .... started to talk about me in Spanish, thinking that I won t understand but oooops I do understand Spanish very well and Coños is not really something that customers should hear about them..... I mean I think so Well then .... ok .... after that said and done .... I went bananas and get to the owner, waiters(tress) and unfortunately the rest of customers what they deserve.... the truth in there face and customers was quit agree with me. So to make it short and with a balanced opinion after all. - Place is quit nice - Staff is not smiling and welcoming at all - please get dressed decently and not like in basketball training or a beach club - Delay between order and service is surely way to long heaven if your are in vacations - Food is not correct and basic and really too expensive for what it is - Menu at the doors only mentions the cheapest dishes that are in fact starters in small portions... just to make you feel like it is a pretty nice but decent prices place but believe me it s not - Just eat and shut up if you don t wanna have trouble with the staff cause there....that is the law. So guys .... get your shit together.... maybe pay your staff better... maybe ask them not to party too much and rest at night..... get a better kitchen turn over and a bit more realistic price menu Gracias ... Adios. Hope this will help people not to be trapped like we just been.

Charming ambiance, very good food and although the service was slow (why they get a 4), the food was great! We will come back for sure.
