I had frequently eaten here as a Dakar resident and never had a bad meal. I was always curious about staying as a guest and I took to the place. On the downside, it is a bit scruffy. Downstairs toilets could be better. Breakfast options are not scintillating. Bar music was wearily unimaginative. But staff were bright and personable. A nice ambiance, which counts for a lot. Menu is solid. I would happily invite guests here for a Sunday lunch. The 11,000 CFA franc three course meal is good. Looking for a cheaper rate, I shifted rooms to a 'studio' which was very good value for Dakar at 16,000 CFA francs. Internet connectiions varied, but I worked online from bar area with few problems I would suggest some obvious additions: information sheet focusing on N'Gor and surroundings, advice on vendors, taxis rates, bar-restaurant options. Any chance of some in-bar cultural events? Musicians? Karaoke? If you want a base in 'Ngor, this is a comfortable option.

I only stayed here one night, a little over a week ago. The view from the room of N'gor was tremendous, the bed was good and solid, and the bathroom and shower were very clean. There was a nice little eating establishment across the street among the shops. It was very quiet, and the people were very friendly. I'd recommend it to anyone that needed a relatively inexpensive hotel for a night or two.

La Brazzerade is located in Ngor right at the beach. Great location and view of the Atlantic ocean and island of Ngor. It is close to the airport if you are looking for a short stay or while you transit to your next destination. Other than location this is the equivalent of a cheap motel in the US. Basic rooms are 25000 cfa which is about 50 dollars. For the same price you can get a decent room in another part of town. Place is noisy and food is outrageously overpriced for the area. I know I am a local and this is my hometown. Room is not clean and bed is hard as a rock. Dirty bathroom. Unfriendly staff. Won't recommend it. There is better for the same price.

We booked on booking.com and requested the included airport transfer 3 times. They didn't show up at the airport. We had to take a $50 taxi ourselves to get to the hotel. They didn't seem to care. We asked that they refund this, since it was supposed to be accounted for, and they shrugged, apathetic. As for the room - sure, ocean facing, but windy as hell and freezing. The bed had me up all night, scared of bedbugs. The blanket was a polyester piece that I didn't want to even get near touching. And I'm no prima Donna. Stay away.||Wifi sucks, service is slow, there is nothing really I can say. Old property, waste of time.

This hotel have seen better days, but strigh by the see, you can't find a better place to enjoy the citylife and the beautiful beach. Get a room with a veranda, from the first floor You will see the ocean and the small island stright ahead. The straff is wery nice and helpful. Good value for money.

The hotel is very cheap and next to a beach (free access) it also has warm showers and comes with soap. The rooms also have fans which is excellent! The only downside is thst there isn't internet and the beach can be packed. Other than that it will get the job done.

We decided to spend the last night here after 10days around Senegal. We knew that the area was nice and we decided to spend more than senegal average in order to have a better service at least the last night. Forget about it. The water was cold. The wifi didn't work. The guardian knocked our door 6am by mistake (!?!) On top everytime that we made them aware about the issues they were very lazy to react. I had these poor services many times in Senegal but I paid half price

Avoid this hôtel altogether. The lady manager has no clue as to what customer service means, plus she is bluntly agressive. The doorman is unpleasant. The bar downstairs welcomes local ladies in search of clients. Definitely a no go,especially with à family.
