Deeper in Tuscany, you can stay at La buca di Montauto in San Gimignano (an agriturismo where they make wine, olive oil, etc) or at the organic farm Ebbio near Sienna. From there, you will be able to discover towns like Assisi, Montepulciano, Orvieto, Lucca, Perrugia, Voltera…
Super! Great selection of cold cuts and you can select your choice of wine. Had a sit in to enjoy the cold cuts and wine. Yum!

A few tables inside with no menu, the owner cures his own meat. Take a seat and be served with a selection of pecorino and their homemade variety of ham and salami. My favorite was the truffle salami and pecorino aged 1 year. A very reasonable 21 eur for 2 person portion. Wild boar meat is their specialty. Highly recommended!

Also the interior is nice done.

Local wild boar specialties, cheese and more. You can try everything here before you buy and there is also vacuum packaging suitable for travel. In the back of the shop you can also make a small one and eat the goodies.

The best butcher in all of San Gimignano! We bought everything we sampled because it was all great! Their farm is close to town and they make all their own meats.

Family owned and run store, where you can taste real local products. Sit down, have a glass of their own Chianti, eat a tagliere with fresh cuts from their own salami and hams (including wild boar) and enjoy Italian atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Great experience. They made us a wonderful salami and cheese plate to enjoy with our bottle of wine.
